    No BS review. Facts. I'm blessed to own PPQ M2 Tac Ops and will be keeping it. Just got my PDP and can't wait to put it through the paces. My very first pistol was a Walther P99 that will never leave me.

    My first option out of a list of around 12 pistols - is the WALTHER PDP PRO SD with 9mm 18+1, Holosun 508T-RD-X2; and the Streamlight TLR-1HL. I spend several months and many hours on RUclips listening to what others have to say about performance and reliability. Went to the range and test fired it. All I kept saying was "HOLY SHIT.....WOW" and I was very impressed with my shot group (no not the side of a barn). I say around 25 feet and paper targets. As all the commentators and firearms' enthusiast - The Walther PDP PRO SD pistol (in my opinion) stands out as a pinnacle of modularity and versatility in the world of duty pistols. With an array of features catering to customization and adaptability, this firearm exemplifies innovation in design. I love how it fits in my hands and the esthetics.
    Here's what I think about it's Performance: The Walther PDP PRO SD pistol delivers on its promise (watch the many videos - yes! on RUclips) of being a duty-ready firearm. The combination of these features translates into a reliable and user-friendly shooting experience. The modularity not only enhances performance but also accommodates individual shooter preferences.
    Durability: Walther has a history of producing durable and reliable firearms, and the PDP PRO SD appears to continue this tradition. Quality materials and precision engineering contribute to the pistol's longevity, making it a reliable companion in various duty scenarios. Conclusion: The Walther PDP PRO SD pistol stands as a testament to the brand's commitment to innovation and user-centric design. Its modular features, including the Picatinny rail, optics-ready capability, reversible mag release, and various customization options, make it an excellent choice for those seeking a duty pistol that adapts to their unique needs. Walther has successfully combined versatility with performance, resulting in a firearm that meets the high standards expected of a duty pistol.
    LASTLY: I say to always check for the latest reviews and user feedback (RUclips) to ensure you get the latest up-to-date information on any weapon ....you paying for it. Might as well do your homework.

      But it has one thing that makes it pointless to buy. The optic cut has no locking cuts for plates. If you add an optic it will eventually fall off from the screws breaking. Might as well just get a ppq and get the slide milled.

    Handled one yesterday at my lgs. Very good feel in the hand. Grip texture unique but very grippy. Looks very top heavy due to the overall width of the slide, but it doesn't feel top heavy. In fact the guy is a featherweight. It weighs 24.4 oz for the compact and 25.4 for the full size. I carry a Staccato C, single stack that weighs 26.5! Finally the trigger is a marvel, light, short reset. And luckily it takes Glock 43 sights because it comes with 3 dot plastic sights, and the optics plate.

    I recently built a thousand dollar glock 19 using a polymer80 lower. This gun basically has the same exact features besides for it having no night sights or aluminum trigger. You're basically getting the quality of an apex trigger kit without the trigger shoe with this gun. In polymer80 terms this gun is worth around $830 and you're getting it for $600 😳👍. It's honestly one of the best deals I've seen in a really long time. If I would have known this was coming I would have never built a p80. Im definitely going to buy one!! . Im going to wait a year and let the company work out any problems it might have. It seems like most gun's have minor issues throughout the first year. I have a really good feeling about this firearm :). It might be the best one yet when it comes to pistols under a thousand dollars.

It seems to have a little extra width as compared to other compacts on the market and would appear to have a propensity to print a little easier? Sir, with all due respect and sincerity, and with regard to your weapons handling, I think you should NOT point the gun and your own hand and pull the trigger, EVER. I’m not trying to be a hater or a troll, but recognize that videos influence the behavior of new shooters. Doing this violates all of the safety rules and encourages complacency. Anyone can make mistakes, so habits matter. In the hands of well-intentioned good people and yes even experts, so called “unloaded guns” kill people all too often. Thank you for the great review. With respect sir.

    • @impactaustria
      @impactaustria 3 года назад +1

      @@agrisizkulak Technically yes, however there is still value in avoiding to break the Cooper rules as much as possible when handling even unloaded firearms. It's because we're humans. As long as you're super focused nothing will happen. However, problems tend to arise when we're distracted or stressed. We also operate on habits, and the more often we deviate from what is favourable, the higher the likelihood we will do it the wrong way when stressed/distracted. And when talking negligent discharges the tolerance is zero. And as someone else pointed out, our behaviour is also recognized by others potentially influencing their own behaviour aswell. A professional will know what to do, when to do it and what to avoid, however most gun owners don't handle a firearm daily and know the cooper rules inside out. There's no benefit in showing them a firearm pointed at oneself during handling it and even pulling the trigger. I personally like to practice muzzle and trigger discipline even when I know the gun is unloaded, because it builts habits that might prevent a catastrophy one day. However things change when the gun is disassembled to a degree that prevents it from potentially firing a round, obviously. That's at least my way looking at it.

      That's actually incorrect. If that were the case you could never clean your weapon. At some point, when you are by yourself, at a table with no ammo around and you know your gun is unloaded, it's fine to actually treat it as if it is unloaded.
