Why do so many people gripe, complain, judge and criticize others who have the money to buy nice things? If it offends you, move along. It's that simple. Any one of you "complainers" would love to buy rigs like this and enjoy them like these guys. And if you had the opportunity, I guarantee you would do the same. I would too. I hope one day I will be able to do this. For the time being i just enjoy the videos and get inspired to dream. But quit putting these guys down for living their dream. Just enjoy the awesome videos they put out, or find other videos to watch. Good grief. Grow up people!!
I started watching this series because I just ordered a TRD Pro 4Runner. Now I'm watching all of your stuff because y'all have such great fun and your friendships are so nice to witness, and y'all are so safe and smart on your trips. I'm in your Alaska trip now. I can only hope to be a part of something so special at some point in time. I too love video and photography. I can't wait to see the next adventure
I would just like to say thank you for all your hard work and great videos my wife I love your show. I'm looking for a new rig I sold my 73 Series 3 Land Rover and I miss it dearly. Because of your videos I believe we will purchase a 4Runner for our off-road needs thank you for all your hard work. Thank you, Josh
Man, you guys are living the dream! What I wouldn't give to do an overland trip like you guys, and what sweet rigs too! Hope you all have fun and can't wait to see the whole series!!
So excited to see Clay and the crew go on a nother adventure. Incredibly excited that the 4runner is in use this season. The 4runner is my choice of overland vehicle, there reliability is amazing. Your videos are an amazing experience for the times I feel the need to go explore and because of the college budget am unable to. Thanks again and you'll are doing great things with the series.
Love the series and the vehicles. One important note, batteries cannot be joined in series to jump start the vehicle, as the video states. They have to be joined in parallel. Very important.
I noticed the error too. Series doubles the voltage and can ruin the starter and other electrical components. Parallel doubles the amperage, which is what we need for starting. Probably just an errant mid-speak however.
Thank You Expedition Overland, I look forward to all your videos every year and wish I could join you on the trail. I grew up in the mountains (Marble, Colorado) and miss the mountains and the adventure. Your cinematography is outstanding and makes me yearn for the Great Outdoors ( I live in Las Vegas, NV now). Please keep the videos coming and let me know if there is an easier way to get your shows than on RUclips. Thanks again and best of luck in Central America!! 2008 Jeep JK
terrific video and exciting build - can't wait to see your Central America show. your blog was exciting. hope to visit with you guys when I'm in Bozeman this summer
Thanks guys. I thought I was cool with my off roading video's of my 2015 4runner but after watching your modifications = I will gracefully walk away with my tail between my legs. Awesome video tho.
Beauty's !!! I drove with a HZJ75 from The Netherlands to South Africa via the west coast, and then back up to Kenya via the east coast. (total of 33.000 KM) I was very happy that my vehicle was as standard as possible, due to spare parts when needed. I realy like your light system !! Enjoy your trip !!!!
So excited about your next adventure going to air. You guys do a great job at helping kindle the adventurers spirit in a lot of us. I appreciate your time and dedication to your dream. It shows and is much appreciated. Hope you folks make it to Expo East this year. It's in my backyard and I look forward to meeting some of you. Keep up the good work!
Very practical. $1500 well spent... But if we take in consideration possible injury while unloading and loading the truck- that money was really well invested.
Been watching you guys since day one, and really glad you got some serious sponsorship deals. Your videos are amazing, and the new trucks look fantastic. It's crazy how clean they look. They have a very OEM feel, which is something I personally enjoy and strive for on my Jeep. I hope that your deal with Toyota allows you to level constructive criticism of the vehicles, and will not censor your opinions in any way.
Wow you guys are coming down!! Good to hear!! Big fan of yours love the trails and the roads for what they are and where they take you too, I am native to Central America, El Salvador to be exact and now live in Panama. Work has taken me by road and plane all over the Americas and this trip you are about to take will change the way you think about south of the border!! If you travel down through Baja, southern Baja I have been and can recomend some places, once you are in Guatemala down through to Panama been there and can help you with in depth information and border crossing tips as well as nature vivid places in the rain forests through awsome beaches for camping and nice friendly hotels!! If you travel the Pan American Highway you will travel the Pacific which is nice but once you get to Costa Rica and you head for Panama I highly recommend entering Panama on the Caribbean side and you will be rewarded with some of the most interesting people and places!!!! Hope you can send your ETA in Panama city, it would be a great pleasure to be able to meet you guys!!
Got a kick out of your video. We have the Razor XP 1000 and Wildcat X ATV's and we appreciate them, they are strong and hold up excellently on our trail.
I also have stage 7 ICON setup, but my absolute best edition to my overland build for my new 4Runner TRD Off Road has been the Magnuson supercharger.. My 4Runner now feels exactly as it should, on and off road.. I run 350hp to the rear wheels (35% gain in both hp and torque) and can now overtake on highways even loaded for touring.. I can tackle obstacles with less boot.. It isn't over powered and just gives the 5th gen that boost it definitely needed to make it perfect IMHO... I highly recommend it.. Tackling tough trails is a lot more fun now lol.
Amazing to see that youve got sponsored by Toyota, I cant wait to see this thing in action! All that equipment is just sexy, hope it all works out well for you guys!
Wow! I really wish sponsors would give me hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of gear for my trips! But they won't so guess I'll just have to watch the next season to see how it all works out. And keep saving up for that 20" light bar I want so much. 😉 Keep up the good work and amazing videogeaphy!
What is the reason for installing Grabber AT2 All Terrains in "285/70/R17" ....than "P265/70R17" size tires from factory setting ?? How reliable was 2015 Toyota 4runner trail premium during the expedition ? Any problems with engines, mechanic, overheat? What was the total mileage during the expedition round trip ? I have the exact same Toyota 4runner trail premium 2015. It was awesome to see how the 4runner trail can handle the tough terrains. Thanks for creating this awesome expedition, cannot wait for season 3.
I've been seeing your trucks in adds in Peterson's 4 Wheel and Offroad magazines. i think they were for general tire. awesome videos keep up the good work!
Wondering if Y'All are working on anything new?Even if its more localized it would be something.I'm missing the video's more than I thought I would, but understand that Y'All got families as well.
Cool work! Two questions... with all that work to the rear bumber, how about a brush guard or "Roo bar" for the front? That plastic front and isn't going to take many whacks. Second question... HOW MUCH?
Would love to take a couple of pictures of you guys when passing by Nicaragua, cant wait for whats coming, just a heads up, go to Peten in Guatemala, Copan in Honduras and Ometepe, El Castillo and playa Maderas in NICARAGUA.
Doug Ahern It is the most capable 4runner you can get from the factory, so overpriced is wrong. What does wanting to add a winch and other things warrant you to say what you did? What I choose to spend my money on does not concern you.
Love the video! How many times did you use the locking rear vs just atrac off road? I have a 2015 sr5 premium. Have atrac just no locking rear..which I'm sure the lift and tired helped too. Thank you for any info!
damn thats some $$ well spent lol ima look into that SPOD . thx for the intel =) maybe i should have went a LUNA instead of the ARB fridge/freezer . i love it tho lol
ExpeditionOverland Guys, I'm so jealous of you doing this! This is so awesome though. I've seen all of your other trips on youtube and I cannot wait to see more. I've got a Toyota Tundra that I fully intend on making into an expedition truck! Ain't cheap though!
Really sick set up giys, job well done. I love the lighting for the trunk in the kitchen runner xP....and only 80k total (I think I got the pricing right????)..... I subscribed and can't wait to check out some of your other videos
always has been always will be got amazing memories on my 3rd gen 4runner 2000 I lifted with Toytec 3inch lift and new toytech suspension that thing could hit a jump and stay straight spent 30k on it and one night I got real fucked up and the armor I put on it saved my life. so it was not much of a loss tbh when I totalled it but i still dream about it. does toytec still dominate the market for suspension?
Why do so many people gripe, complain, judge and criticize others who have the money to buy nice things? If it offends you, move along. It's that simple. Robert Morrison haha right. The main reason I got hooked on this channel is cause of the 4Runner. Rufio is a beast.
Man the guys at adventure trailers KNOW there shit....that system is on of the best ive seen.
So awesome just a couple of days ago I was thinking Toyota needs to sponsor you guys and today I see this....Kudos Toyota.
I'm not usually a truck guy, but these things are a thing of beauty!
I just cried a little. So much overwhelming BEASTLY beauty!

Man I'm glad u guys got the Toyotas... I have an FJ and was hoping u guys get one. Really enjoy u guys a lot. Thank you
Man, you guys are living the dream! What I wouldn't give to do an overland trip like you guys, and what sweet rigs too!
Hope you all have fun and can't wait to see the whole series!!
Holy wow! Amazing vehicles! Can't wait to see them in action!
This is a dream 4-Runner. Can’t wait to watch the series

Good god those 4Runners are insane

I love the way you have put the trucks together, but the field kitchen is just inspired. Looking forward to some more great videos.
terrific video and exciting build - can't wait to see your Central America show. your blog was exciting. hope to visit with you guys when I'm in Bozeman this summer
Thanks guys. I thought I was cool with my off roading video's of my 2015 4runner but after watching your modifications = I will gracefully walk away with my tail between my legs. Awesome video tho.
I'm very happy you are wheeling with a new 4runner. This is my favorite truck, I wish I could afford one.
The best setup i have seen so far...props to you guys...safe travels
Beauty's !!!

Excellent build! (a fellow 5th gen 4runner owner here). It's nice to see the various options available.
When? When? When? I am so excited to watch your Central America trip, with the new rides!
BeeeHonest July 8th! 5pm Mountain standard.
To be honest I always wanted to see you guys use the FJ Cruiser but obviously that's not possible now but the new 4runner is looking amazing!
Can't wait to see these in action. I'm a loyal Toyota fan. My '96 Tacoma is still kicking. Keep up the great videos. I look forward to more.
You produce the best offroad / adventure driving videos on the net! Very well made videos. Looking forward to the next season. Cheers from Sweden
That drawer system is amazing. I love how the stove slides out from under the fridge. Very trick.
Very practical. $1500 well spent... But if we take in consideration possible injury while unloading and loading the truck- that money was really well invested.

Got a kick out of your video. We have the Razor XP 1000 and Wildcat X ATV's and we appreciate them, they are strong and hold up excellently on our trail.
I'm so excited for the new season glad Toyota picked you guys up going to be great
I wanna see a series overlanding with stock 4Runners. That would be a great promo for Toyota too.
I also have stage 7 ICON setup, but my absolute best edition to my overland build for my new 4Runner TRD Off Road has been the Magnuson supercharger.. Man, those trucks are ready without any mods! Get a water tank, some totes, add a pair of $20 used crossbars and add an awning. #Golden
May have just had a mild aneurism. Gives me so many ideas!
Amazing to see that youve got sponsored by Toyota, I cant wait to see this thing in action! All that equipment is just sexy, hope it all works out well for you guys!

Toyota should hire the vocalist. He makes me wanna go buy the 4Runner.
Great, y'all just made me throw more money at my T4R
Pffff, this series made me buy a 4runner
@@richardclark7950 I'm going to trade my 2018 Acura RDX for a 4runner now I will need to pay extra so be it
Wow! I really wish sponsors would give me hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of gear for my trips! But they won't so guess I'll just have to watch the next season to see how it all works out. This is vehicle porn. They're soft selling a lifestyle.
Yes I like Clay but this is kinda of what you do with unlimited sponsors. Impressive nonetheless.
Just AWESOME........... Dream Trucks...
What a gorgeous 4runner!
Congrats for the new rigs...sick!!
I follow you guys since the begging and i am looking forward for new the season!
What is the reason for installing Grabber AT2 All Terrains in "285/70/R17" ....than "P265/70R17" size tires from factory setting ??

I have the exact same Toyota 4runner trail premium 2015. It was awesome to see how the 4runner trail can handle the tough terrains. Thanks for creating this awesome expedition, cannot wait for season 3.
Thats a wicked build. I really want to get my hands on a 4Runner

Wondering if Y'All are working on anything new?Even if its more localized it would be something.I'm missing the video's more than I thought I would, but understand that Y'All got families as well.

I'm excited to see the new series. Love the new rigs
The more fancy stuff you add, the more stuff breaks down. Give me a Series 2 or 3 leaf sprung Land Rover any day.
Great video can't wait for the rest
Would love to take a couple of pictures of you guys when passing by Nicaragua, cant wait for whats coming, just a heads up, go to Peten in Guatemala, Copan in Honduras and Ometepe, El Castillo and playa Maderas in NICARAGUA.
Leonel F. They've already been there and are back in the U.S.A now.
Seeareex1 thanks man
Awesome! Just picked up a 4runner TRD Pro, this is going to make me spend money!
Rex0915 Why should you need to spend more on an overpriced vehicle to begin with? Isn't TRD Pro supposed to be the best of the best?
Because I like it, all the reason I need, dick
Doug Ahern It is the most capable 4runner you can get from the factory, so overpriced is wrong. What does wanting to add a winch and other things warrant you to say what you did? What I choose to spend my money on does not concern you.
Rex0915 Winches are cool, other stuff is just my opinion, no need to be rude.
Excellent build guys!!
Love the video! How many times did you use the locking rear vs just atrac off road? I have a 2015 sr5 premium. Have atrac just no locking rear..which I'm sure the lift and tired helped too. Thank you for any info!
Everything i wish my 93 4runner was!
this is a fantastic video. i want to build a new Tacoma with OME suspension, but I'm gonna sleep in the backnof the truck
Really Cool Rigs!!! One thing though, why no performance Mods...???
Oh my goodness... Soooo jealous.. Now those are worthy battle wagons..! haha..
Thin stealth LED Bar ... GENIUS!!!!!

Not quite my range rovers, but very nice, capable vehicle!!
looking forward to the new expedition.
This would be my dream car !
ExpeditionOverland Guys, I'm so jealous of you doing this! This is so awesome though. I've seen all of your other trips on youtube and I cannot wait to see more.
I've got a Toyota Tundra that I fully intend on making into an expedition truck! Ain't cheap though!
Hope to see you in Nicaragua!!!!
Would love to hear what you use for nav software on those iPad minis.
Looking forward to the new season!
I noticed that you had the factory TRD pro wheels did you have to do a body mount shop to fit the 285s
Really sick set up giys, job well done. I love the lighting for the trunk in the kitchen runner xP....and only 80k total (I think I got the pricing right????).....
I subscribed and can't wait to check out some of your other videos
So many toys...be good to your sponsors, team.

got amazing memories on my 3rd gen 4runner 2000 I lifted with Toytec 3inch lift and new toytech suspension that thing could hit a jump and stay straight spent 30k on it and one night I got real fucked up and the armor I put on it saved my life. so it was not much of a loss tbh when I totalled it but i still dream about it. does toytec still dominate the market for suspension?
Hey XO! Great videos and great trips! How much weight does all the mods add to the base 4Runner?
ExpeditionOverland how did the 7.5-9 inch wide tire work on those TRD 17x7 wheels? Did you get uneven tire wear?
Nice video, thanks for sharing ✌
I can't wait for the videos!
Great work guys...
Central America!? Damn, all that stuff and you all forgot to make them bullet proof. Lol. J/K. But those are some sweet rides. 👍
