I remember backpackng through Central America in the Summer of '93. No cell phone, no high tech vehicle, not much money....no "safety net". we hitchiked, walked and took local buses and got to see and experience so much. I think the wonder of travelling on the rough is a thing of the past from what I see here.

Im addicted to this series. So glad I stumbled upon it.
Your Alaska series is what pushed me to start preparing for some overland travel. I have always been into off roading ( mainly rock crawling in the south ) .However, after watching what yall do and the adventures you have , I have started working on an overlanding build. (99 Grand Cherokee Laredo ) This is just big enough for me and my wife and our gear .. I have registered to get my Ham Radio licence , and take CPR and Emergency Trauma classes. I have also have a few friends who are interested in this .. Hopefully our first cross country wheeling trip (planned for the summer of 2017) will be a lot of fun .. Thanks for the inspiration , and showing others what is possible in a mildly built vehicle.. Good Luck on your trip , I look forward to seeing the upcoming videos ..

Watching the beginning of the video, where the 4runners undergo customization, brings back a lot of memories!! Once worked in that building about 9-10 years ago. Idk, theres something about watching a show and recognizing features throughout the episode that aren't usually seen on T.V. / RUclips.
This is the episode that got me into Overlanding!! Had a Ford Fiesta at the time so I waited and planned while I watched all XO I could watch.. thank you for all you do!!
By far the best production value I have seen from any expedition series. Love the work you guys do! Can't wait for more episodes! Also Really looking forward to seeing what the ladies get up to! I bought a tacoma after watching your videos, but now I'm drooling over those new 4runners!

I just finished watching the whole series. I am commenting here because some videos have the comment section disabled. why? anyhow, i always have had a spirit of adventure; although my current situation doesn't enable me to go out like that, i enjoy my mountain bike riding where ever i can in the city and some nearby trails. I am working hard to be able to have the residual income stream in my new business in order to have the ability to do such trips with friends or new people. I choose to stay single because i like to be free and not have to have someone else have to worry about me when i am out in my own adventures. Something that I would also like to do is cross country bicycling. What better country than USA. i am working hard on myself both physically and economically prepare...
once again, I really enjoy the whole series. Thank you for everyone that made that possible. God bless.

Just started watching these episodes and I'm enjoying them. One piece of advice, carry extra patches, stickers, or any little extras to give away when traveling. It helps to break the ice with people and with law enforcement as well. As I am in law enforcement, we enjoy trading patches. Also, it would be a great advertisement tool.
Now I'm going to have to watch the Yukon season yet AGAIN until the next episode comes out. Thank you again for this series. Hoping to have my taco expedition ready by next year.

Love that you guys are rocking TAD Gear and 4Runners, couple of my favourite things in their respective categories of gear. Get Arc'teryx and Salomon involved next time and I'm going to have to try to beg and bribe my way into the next expedition haha!
It really doesn't get much better than the stuff you've chosen to bring with you, always nice when you can count on your gear and know it's going to do what you need it to in a crunch.
I know when I'm out in the bush up here in British Columbia there's enough to worry about and overcome without having to deal with subpar equipment failing when you need it most. I'm a firm believer in buy once, cry once so if I'm going to pick something up that I'm going to rely on it's going to be the best and most effective I can afford. It has served me well until now and as a result I have badass gear that is going to last me a long time. Love the videos!
All I have to say is "WoW" You guys are nuts.....I know the 4Runners are going to put up a good fight. I have had 3 of them. (90', 99' & 05') Good luck and safe travels
