Don't see why people are complaining about the series and its sponsorship by toyota, these are some of the most durable machines ever built. Don't like it? Watch something else.
I like the series but not the vehicles but still watching
Not only durable quality. What vehicle handles harsh conditions better than Toyotas, name me one? There are only one vehicle used by almost all expeditions and inhabitants voluntarily in extreme conditions, whether its tundra, desert, jungles, prairie ... there is only one vehicle you can find. It's the only one vehicle. The other "off-road" vehicles are nothing more than just advertisement gimmick.
Its quality and reliability is outranked only by luxury category's Porsche year after year.
Too much boring content, I don't wanna see them eating and drinking all the time
I love the series AND the vehicles. The only bad thing about this series was not being on it.
That’s the main reason I watch these episodes. I come just for the toyotas and specifically 4runners but all their toyotas are so sick.
I am surprised with all the complaints. The video quality and production quality just keeps getting better. Getting two brand new trucks means pleasing the sponsors...sort of how the world works. Keep up the good work, like many others I am quite enjoying your videos
Ted Johnson Thanks Ted! Your the man!
Ted Johnson agree 100%. Gotta pay the bills. Might as well get it out of the way so you can concentrate on the trip in the later episodes.
You don't need to leave us on a cliff hanger because we will still come back without it.
Because these are awesome of course.
Stephen Peterson I think the cliffhangers are cool. I like the serial aspect of them. They keep me coming back. :)
This is exactly how I plan to live life
Build a kick ass 4runner
Travel the the world
I accompany you from the beginning of the series in Alaska and I have to say that I'm totally impressed, almost could say that you are my role model!
I like your's style of travel and, of course, how to turn it on, viewers eager to adventure.
This series also follow with enthusiasm and I can't wait for the next episode!
Keep up the good work and continue to travel safely! ;)
Greetings from a small country in Europe, Slovenia
Adventure Overland I love slovenia! i spent a summer there! Lake Bohinj is one of the coolest places on earth. Clay-
ExpeditionOverland
Oh, how nice.:D
Slovenia is a small country but very beautiful but the locals are not aware enough of this ...
Clay, if you ever gonna visit Slovenia again, just get in touch with me, i'd love to show you another wonderful things about us. After all, you only need 3 hours from one end of the country to the other end :D
Bye! :)
@@ExpeditionOverland when you plan Africa, get in contact with Paul Marsh He has built vehicles for journeys in some of the wildest places on earth. Siberia at minus 60°C, the Taklamakan Desert in China, the Arctic, remote jungles in Malaysia and innumerable expeditions across Africa.
As an Asian guy and someone who live in a Honda/Toyota family, I am extremely impress when I see White Americans like you guys that drive Japanese truck instead of the typical F-150 and Raptor. It not common to see a white person garage full of 4runners, Tacoma, Tundra, etc... instead of F-150, Ram, 1500, and Raptor. I'm very impress so I sub. Keep up the good work and I give anything to be able to do what you guys do. You guys are truly living life.
Hey, I'm from Mexicali and I approved this video.
Awesome. TOYOTA rules the overland. Can't wait for the next Episode.
Everytime I watch one of your episodes I wanna get in my jeep, and drive away FROM and TO it all! Keep up the great work guys!!
titanNzj Makes me want to sell my WRX and get a 4Runner and just go north as fast as possible into the Canadian magnificence.
***** just put a lift kit, roof rack, massive front bumper with winch and some big ass tires on your WRX and she would go hard haha
So LEGIT! I watch every episode as soon as you guys release them!
You are very fortunate, my dad have the 4Runner '10 it's the raja....from kind regards from Chile!
Good work guys!!! I love seeing the story of your expedition unfold into a bigger story!!!
What a killer ending to this episode! The suspense it going to be to much!!!
It is killing me to wait a week for each episode!
Nick M thats as fast as we can crank them out! HAHA!
its cool that toyota has true enthusiast working for them.
That is cool that you guys got the advice that you did at the beginning of your journey!
I can't even begin to describe how jealous I am of this. Dream experience stuff to be able to take a road trip like this. The envy is real
Just have to drive down!
Thank you Expedition Overland! I have been thinking about heading down to the Baja and to Mike's Sky Ranch. With the excitement over the area you guys expressed in this episode, I am even more excited about visiting the area. Can't wait for the next episode, hopefully it is longer.
Absolutely the best overland videos on RUclips! Professional stuff right here. Better than anything on TV. Keep up the great work guys!
can the episodes be longer please! 20 minuets of this show a week is not enough!
Overlanding FTW!
Can't wait for the next one! Well done again.
Yes yes
Can't wait for the next episode! Keep them coming! Landcruisers rule Jeeps drool! [O]=TOYOTA=[O]
Absolutely awesome, everything I was hoping this episode would have been. Keep producing them like this. I love the exposure to the culture mixed with overlanding you're showing here.
Saludos y buenas suerte amigos!
You'd they would have more than enough footage for longer episodes but still addicted to the series. Here's to waiting a whole week again.
Encyclopedia Kurtanica... I miss that guy. Stoked for the linkup in Belize!
Miss you too!
Man the suspense..... Can't wait 'til the next episode.....
Awesome! Enjoyed it... can't wait for episode three!
Already can't wait for episode 3! Y'all are doing an amazing job, keep up the great work! I hope one of these days I will be able to do this.
wow. huge jump from motoring the Pryors! your crew has expanded substantially!! I personally like the "Toyota ad"! I take my 4Runner as far as it will take me!! I still remember when Downer washed dishes at Mack Riv! hahaha!! I wish I could join you on an adventure! hey, you guys should have a viewer mini adventure or something! get out and show some love to your fans right!? my 4Runner and I will be there!!
Have heard a lot of bad things about mexico but this is really making me want to go !
i much more prefer this type of advertising than a pointless ad in the middle of a nfl game. Congrats to toyota and EO for understanding how to market in a way where both parties win.
GOOD TIMES!
Great episode. Almost done watching the Alaska series. I'm spacing it out.
Looking forward to the next one.
only discovered this channel last night... its awesome keep up the good work
ahhhh the suspense!
Have had three 4Runners in the past. Run 4 ever....Moved up to a Tundra...
love it. I was planning to buy a highlander not anymore 4 runner it is. thanks
Once you buy a 4Runner you can't go back.
Watch out for that hot sauce or the Toyota wont be the only one with a leaky pipe!
Adventure addict! I'm currently working on the episodes of our year long struggle through Mexico, I think it is going to be quite a different story to these boys :)
Kombi Life ROCKS! These are my 2 fav RUclips Channels. They couldn't be more different in the way they travel. A European hippie with a few bucks in his pocket in an unreliable VW bus with a Peruvian puppy ...VS a Discovery Channel quality production crew in brand new Toyotas and over 30K worth of upgrades. Both are great and amazing to watch.
3 Percent Project Thanks buddy, I enjoy watching the EO guys to see what they get up to and I am happy that I can share my adventures with so many people to show them that this kind of adventure is accessible to anyone, regardless of budget
+Kombi Life Hey sup ben! =D you should get a toys engine in that combi ! :P nice to see you here!
Outstanding!
Just discovered this show. It's crazy sick!
Thank you!
very good guys
This is getting me all excited about going back to Big Bend Ranch State Park this October! Going to try to do some overlanding for a week in the remote areas.
It's a few thousand miles away from Baja, but it's still desert! HAHA
Toyota 4 life!
I seen every episode from day one to Alaska to now :) I must say I stay up late watching it with my headphones because everyone is asleep and I won't have any interruptions lol...
Awe the cliff hanger.
Awesome videos guys. I wish I could do something like this one day. I look forward to episode 3. In the mean time I am going back through your Yukon series. :) Keep it up!
Cool,video,best yet!
Can't wait for 3!
I just watched this episode, I live in Baja Mexico and it is awesome to see how people recognize this peninsula for it´s well known Baja 1000 off road race. It would be great to get in contact whit Ted to see if he can import some TRD OEM parts for my 4Runner too. LOL !! I love off road and 4wding whit my car, and I also LOVED this adventure, so you guys: EXPEDITION OVERLAND, you have a new suscriber!!
Awesome!
I like seeing their expeditions. I hope you will travel to South America, mainly Chile, has beautiful places to visit, as the driest desert in the world and the mysterious and beautiful island called Chiloe. I'll be waiting in Chiloe with my FJ40 !. sorry for my english
Thanks for these videos!
great to see you guys have fun. it brought me back to one of my life goals. I would like to do a road trip like that.
yeehaw!
That ending though! Damn you haha!
Yes indeed.
Wow if that's not a great demonstration of the Maxtraxx I don't know what is!
As always, great job guys.
Go Toyota !!!
The whole 90/10% thing is how I explained to my girl why we needed an SUV that can tow and do off-road. 1.5 years later, she got herself a Rav4 using the same logic. Mind you, we're just running on long logging paths to get to our cabin but that extra capability is great.
Another great one
Ironman Stewart huh? Talk about an awesome cliffhanger.
For those (like me) wanting to go have some of those great tacos - here is the place (the service shop is next door) - www.google.com/maps/@31.4024782,-115.7272106,3a,75y,315.74h,69.84t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s_5P9rc3zf6Zf0ZdE6C4SHA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
Mooooarr!!!
We stayed at the Sky Ranch and we were the ONLY people there about 3 years ago.
Why didnt you guys use crawl control to get out of the sand? you think
the weight of the truck wouldn't allow it to dig itself out?
never been a big toyota fan, but I love what you guys are doing, saw the complete season 1, and now I cant wait for the next episodes on this second season. Cheers from venezuela!
I had an old stick shift truck that would die during the winter if I let off the gas completely. So i got pretty use to heel toeing it.
Why is this not on the TV? Another great episode can't wait to ep3 😀
Again with the cliff hanger!...
Love it keep em commin
love these guys video series and adventures! sometimes the filming makes the driving seem somwhat mild, and then you get a shot like the switchback @7:06 in this segment... I drive an 80-series LandCruiser and I'm really not sure if I'd make that corner. Nerve-wracking just to watch!
cool adventure
Well if you ever pass through Tijuana you can visit at my house at the beach.
Good luck on your adventure.
Just cause you can, doesn't mean I want you to... Dang cliff hangers and lack of ability to binge watch!!!
I miss the central America season. The new stuff is aight.
great series so far
Mexican food! YUM! Just throwing this out there, what do you guys think about Ford F150?
If i was going to dump money into an offroad rig I would have done a ubolt flip aswell, can save alot of hangups.
OMG at last
Every week i wait for it and get so exited
Excited*
Probably thank USMCA for the smooth southern border crossing.
Loved the Toyota talk! Great episode I can't wait for the next one.
Looks fun...but you never want to complete an electric circuit through your arms because the current runs through your heart.
You guy's didn't carry a spare shock bolt?? I hope at least you brought extra wheel studs or axles unlike the last series. Damn lucky you guys got sponsored and didn't have to perform the adventure it in real second hand trucks.
When's episode 3!!????! I need it now!
Ethan Boening Second this!!!!
TheCatInTheHat Alex Tonight at 5 pm Mountains standard!
Just 24 mins...??? Not fair after waiting a whole week :( but still, I love it :)
Up load the next episode of South America
Wow, I never realized how fragile these vehicles are breaking down all the time. I have a 2x2 Tacoma and was thinking about buying a 4 runner.
Patrick Carroll, sadly those were installation errors on my part. All things Toyota have held up over the course of our travels.
Jeff
Buy a 4Runner and you will never look back.
Was that a rear sway bar link that broke? It looks very similar to the stock one I replaced on my FJ. I was told to get the Summit Racing links that were only $70 or so. Compared to stock, those things are beast.
19:48 booty!
Can someone explain the advise given at 15:50? Dab the brake when going into a rut? Or coming out of it?
I wonder if anyone in the crew was in the Boy Scouts
Kurt here. Eagle Scout, troop 1459
Planning a Baja Offroad trip and was wondering what Ipad GPS apps you recommend for offline use that has all the tracks on it? I take it Hema only works for Australia?? Thank you! Love your videos
When are you guyz going to be in Belize?
Love following you guys, but I hope the next couple episodes have a little more action like the Alaska trip did. This has seemed like a very long Toyota add (not that I mind, but maybe I am just being picky since you got rid of the Hundy LC). Keep up the great work you guys do. :-)
Awesome video! But I wonder how did they get the Tacoma stuck in the sand? Did they use low range and try to back it up? Just wondering as this never happened to my Tacoma TRD of Road. Looking forward to the next adventures!!!
Fisherman1ATX Super heavy! Also hopped into the sand, Which was much softer than expected and not aired down.
what do they air their tires down to for this type of driving and terrain
it's Wednesday wheres the next one Wanna make me go insane Love you guys btw :P
