Yep. Couldn't believe Nick Wright said Caleb Williams was better than Purdy without even playing a single NFL game. Keep in mind, the Titans are nowhere near as good as the Jets defensively.
Currently Purdy > Caleb Williams. We can revisit the argument in 2 years, but right now it is clearly Purdy.

Purdy beat Brady in his first game. The Niners ate another 30 burger with no passing touchdowns, no special team TDs, and no pick 6s... it is only getting worse for everyone else when Purdy throws 2 TDs a game like last year.

Aaron Rodgers was not the problem. The problem was the jet defense got run over. Passing yards and yards per pass were essentially even: the stark difference was 180 for the 49ers and 68 for the Jets running the ball.
The only reason they were close to being even was the garbage yards the jets earned after Rodgers was out of the game. Actually look at rodgers passing stats, he sucked. And they got run over on defense!

I watched every snap tonight Rodgers did not lose that game the jets run defense has to be addressed Aaron really only had 6 drives all game plus drops from wilson, hall, & Lazard. The o line dominated the jets front & out-schemed the DBs by getting the matchups they wanted. Aaron & the offense looked solid just gotta clean some stuff up.

Tried to warn people that being a top 5 defense isn't always sustainable year to year with player changes...even a drop to 10th is very likely and changes your odds to win a super bowl if you don't have insane depth and talent on offense

Very close game, I'm taking the points. Take the Jets +4.5. I think it comes down to a field goal at the very end, but you gotta take the Jets. They won three of their last five last year and they were terrible at quarterback. They've added Mike Williams, a couple offensive linemen, Haason Reddick won't play but he will eventually. This should be a good team. Their offensive line features three new starters. I'm OK with that because they're upgrades in all of them, and now Alijah Vera-Tucker is healthy. Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, they have big-time playmakers. The Niners -- McCaffrey is hurt, Trent Williams just got into camp; super noisy. The Ricky Pearsall incident. I don't like the Niners in this spot. I might feel differently a month and a half from now, but I think the Niners are going to start slow. If you look at the Jets defense last season -- and they were on the field the whole year -- they were top 2 and 3 in many categories. Now they get an offense and it's a more rested defense. I like the Jets to cover. I'm going to go Niners to win 24-23. If there's a time to beat the Niners in this spot, it is now. They've been a circus for a month. I'm not saying the Jets don't have issues, but outside of Haason Reddick we haven't heard much in the last few weeks.
It's not terrible pregame analysis, the niners just overcame the problems.
Last year without cmc the niners did have a few problems for example.
Moody kicked 6/6, that doesn't always happen but it does look good for him.
Williams doesn't need to practise, he could play anytime and be ready to go.

Nope, i won 195 bucks betting he would rush for 100 yards . Kyle should give Mason 7-10 touches every game and keep CMC fresh. I was frustrated when they were still acting like Mitchell was RB2. Mason earned this.
I cannot give you the names but 2 NFL players who recently cited calf injuries, eventually tore their Achilles, so even though CMC injury is calf, he also extended it to his Achilles, so there's that
