Some social media analysts predicted that Caleb was going to struggle and that if he wants to have a successful career she’s going to have to do some things that he has yet to prove he can consistently do. Caleb was at his best when he was improving and making plays off schedule but to succeed in the NFL he’s going to have to make misty of his money from the plays he can make on time and within the frame work of the offense with his ability to improvise and make plays off schedule as an accessory. I think Caleb is so talented that people underestimated the learning curve he’s going to have on his road to becoming a successful QB.
Side note: A lot of these same people believe Michael Penix was the best QB in the draft and could be elite due to his ability to make big plays throwing the ball into tight windows within the framework of the offense and these are skills that transfer to the next level

These last two games may have been the worst two games but a #1 QB pick EVER.
Caleb doesn’t have a great deep ball, his mechanics looks terrible, and his speed is nowhere near what was advertised the last two years.
Think about it…… He played at USC. 95% of the guys he played against weren’t even NFL caliber guys. The best players he played against in college are the worst guys he’s playing against now.
Can he turn it around? I think he can if the coaching staff can work around the OL issues and establish some quick easy throws for Celeb.
Bottom line though. You definitely aren’t encouraged by his play. Most rookie qbs flash a few plays the first couple games. He doesn’t have one highlight worthy play after two weeks.

Chicago fan here🖐🏿. I am 41 and i have loved this Team since i was a kid in single digits. I cannot for the life of me on why the The Bears can't get a high flying, top tier offense? They have the 3rd biggest market and have the loyalist fans in the Country. How come they can never find the right HC? Right OC? Always have a top notch Defense. They can't nvr find a QB that can throw or WRs that are worthy for them to be called that. Somehow The Bears always find duds! Not calling the new guys duds or anything, bcus everything and everyone is new. But they can't keep looking like this. There's not supposed to be some explosive type stuff all the time. But there are supposed to be signs of progressiveness and flahes the start of Bears offense and football!! I'm seeing the same vanilla plays and the same QB looking to run and the same O-Line that can't hold up anything. It's getting to the point that its sucking the love and fun outta be a fan of Chicago. I'm gonna always love them And the City. But why can't they ever come out the gate just domanating and knocking stuff around on Offense, like they always do on Defense??? Like Colin said. They have always been a Defensive culture in Chicago and if they could change that Culture to an Offensive 1? Mannnnnnn! They'd super, duper lol, dangerous!!!!! If they could put together an Offense like they always put together a killer Defense. OMG!!! They would be really MONSTERS OF THE MIDWAY 🐻. It kills my soul the Bears passed up Andy in 2012 and Lovie got fired that same Yr, and i was hoping🤞🏿and praying 🙏🏿, that would grab Andy! And the rest is BS from there on out😔. Eberflus nor Waldron are the 1s, O-Line is crappy and I'm hoping Caleb is the last QB. Cause since 86. The Bears have been thru 41 QBs. OCs aren't any better and that's just shameful. Poles needs to get on the ball, right now and start looking for Eberflus and Waldron's replacement, ASAP!!! Cause i know that would be on my brain as we speaking, if I'm the 🐻s GM. And it would all Offensive minded ones too. No more Defensive Head coaches. They have had soooo many and won not a dog on thing. ✌🏿💯
