The main draw of Sony right now is exactly affordable but high quality lenses like this, Samyang, Tamron and Sigma. One thing especially awesome about the Viltrox is that it has no focus breathing like the Sony GM 24 does. Great video Pascal.
True, I actually sticked to the Viltrox instead of getting the GM. It's also a bit wider as 24mm.

The overall quality blow me away thinking with the price of this incredible lens! Just watched it on my 55inch TV and its so crisp and buttery smooth. Anyways, what a good trip man! Cheers
Thank you so much for your video it was very informative. I have a G master 24mm 1.4 and the quality isn't as great as everybody says I'm sorry. I rather save $1,000 and use the lens from Viltrox and buy another lens. Lens quality nowadays is it seems like that most of them are all the same. Unless you get down to Pixel Peeping it's very hard to tell the difference in quality. Keep up the good work I hope to watch more from you.
Yeah, I actually stick to the Viltrox. Can't justify the additional 1000$.

If I would of known about this lens I would of gone with it over my 20G 1.8 sony.
I like your honesty, here... showing the elephant in favorable and not-so-favorable light.
In the darker shots, would need to blow out the sky and scene, or use a reflector... which might not turn out well with the big tusked animal. :P ...-I would buy this lens. :) Thx, Pascal!
It's the a7Siii in SLOG3, that actually makes blowing the sky out really hard as there is so much dynamic range xD
Nice video as usual but did you tried the 85mm viltrox on Sony before getting the 75 samyang??
No, I just wanted something super lightweight, so I went with Samyang. I had the 85 on Fuji and it's a great lens tough.
Hi, were you using a gimbal? How do you get a stable video shot?
No gimbal used. Just trained to use my hands steadily combined with IBIS in camera.
If you have contact to viltrox please ask them when 13mm is coming out? They announced it a long time ago. I have all Viltrox lenses for my fuji system.
