Thanks & nice video. I have 2 major points.
1- the only issue is that animate dead also works on the vampire lords. :D
2- skeletons have 4 MS. This means that your main hero will be very very slow (MS3=1500, MS4=1560, MS7=1760, MS11 or more = 2000),
So, roughly speaking, with MS4 vs MS7= A player loses 1 turn (day) every 7 turns (days).

I wouldn't say Firebirds are viable, you can only have 1 red tower per biom, I see them as being speed advantage stack only.

cyclops benefit from hero attack, bloodlust, frenzy, slayer and bless, prayer and so on. attack increasing spells or abilities make them potent close range fighter.
edit: try it in scenario against monarchs with bloodlust and you will see for yourself. its good at least to try ;)
I'd make an argument for removing manticores and adding psychic elementals. They're great in all non-town raiding situations. If you stack Conflux right, you can kill all of of a hero's units before they get a chance to move!

Correct me if I'm wrong but i believe the cyclops can be used as a catapult to attack the wall during a siege. That can be quite useful

True - you can but if Cyclops is your power stack, using that turn to attack the wall could have dire consequences.

Nix Warriors ? In late game 60 porcent of attack ignored is huge. They also deal A LOT OF DAMAGE. With interference, items that block magic damage in HOTA etc... you can be really tanky about spells even Implosion.
Their only weakness is : they are pretty slow, but in the final battle who care ?

How do they deal ''A LOT OF DAMAGE'', when they literally have the lowest attack & damage of all of tier 6 🤔? They're good, but this is an objective fact. Only Diamond golems have lower offensive values.
@@Vaginaattori Because they dont die a lot so you spam them. And in late game having a few more offense doesn't import that much because an artefact can compensate.
They have 18-22 it's same as wyvern monarch who is squichy af, it's same as unicorn who is less tanky. They have more than cyclops kings and scorpiore. Technicaly they have same as Effrit, cause they have 16-24 and Nix warrior 18-22.
When you have 40 nix warriors who can''t die in final battle cause hitting them is stupid their dmg is just good. And I didnt said they were the best t6 damage wise who is by far the nagas, but since you can have a lot of them you will do more dmg.
@@jorne6863Nixes are good, sure. However, you can’t get them in hives, conservatories or pickets - that’s why they aren’t as good (in Jebus Cross) as Wyverns and others.
How about a powerstack sea dogs in class D? Fifty sea dogs gave you a flying start in a game today IIRC. No retaliation, and the accurate shot that killed a titan was sure welcome...

you don't like Sharpshooters? or are they not part of HotA? I think, the fact that sharpshooters can shoot for maximum damage at any range and through castle walls and everything just makes them very OP, but they are neutral mobs, so you need to get them out in the world, that can be a problem.
Yeah they are, but like you said they are neutral so you can't really get them easily, would be hard to build a power stack
You forgot to include the costs of creatures/dwellings goldwise and resourcewise which is pretty important if not most important thing...Firebirds/Phoenix are the best(fastest fire rezistant+rezurection)cheapest most useful and easiest to reach lvl 7creatures they can be built in first week almost every time on any map you need some mercury only to reach those and start the 2nd week with stack of(2+4)=6 which basicly means you can smash any player if you can reach him in second or third week or clear the map/grind exp/open skills way faster than anyone else...Cyclops are resource(20 stone 20 srystals) and requirement blocked(need ogre research+bizilion wood) they are super hard to open quickly therefor are not that useful...Angels are extra hard to develop on time and extra expencive unit goldwise and resourcewise same as Titans nearly impossible to open in first week therefor not useful at all in my opinion cause those depend on you being super lucky at the opening week...same goes for gold or black dragons super expencive to rely on
For Necro you forgot about Liches/Litch kings those are 10 sulfur only so can be open in first week,they are splash damage and no mele penalty with decent HP also very useful for grinding skeletons...
Wow, you really do overrate firebirds. I cannot express how squishy they are, it's impossible. 10 magi kills a firebird even though enemy had +10 stats and tried to not lose them (PvP Neutral Combat) i know, they have high speed but if they're that squishy why would you wanna build them? They will just spontaneously disintegrate if you're fighting opponent. Phoenixes have the same problem, and don't forget that firebirds are only 50% immune to fire magic and that's not even a big thing. No one will ever cast Armageddon in the final battle for some unknown reason, they will cast implosion, meteor shower, chain lighting that aren't fire magic. The Ressurection Ability is pretty bad. If your phoenix stack dies, (surely they aren't squishy) there are 2 options 1. Your big phoenix powerstack dies and ressurect itself, wow surely if the opponent killed your probably biggest powerstack, they will not be able to kill ¼ of it, right? They will. 2. Your non-existing phoneix stack ressurect itself making no impact because something that isn't opp's powerstack will shoot/attack it for speed priority. This ability is overrated and kinda random. This is why i don't see firebird/phoneix powerstack. Atleast the speed is pretty good.

So to clarify kiddo:
1. This tier list is for HotA expansion of Heroes 3. That’s the best mod of H3, which became a new standard (it’s THAT good!). You can download it for free 😎
2. You might be disappointed that Phoenix’s growth was reduced to 3/week (and that’s with the special building). They are also more expensive now. Those nerfs were done to make Conflux playable (instead of being OP and banned). BTW Conflux is still one of the best towns.
3. This tier list is for Jebus Cross. That’s a PvP scenario built for competitive gameplay.

I have never build cyclops cave in early game , they are very expensive with money and crystal even that behemoth lair is cheaper than it (and always get behemoth first) .
That's true, but you can make a cyclop power stack without building them, by farming wolf raider pickets.
Silver Pegasi are not a bad power stack either. Although a little bit squishy, they're pretty fast for the 4th tier. So you're almost always guaranteed to have the first move in earlier fights.
On JO maybe, on JC you'll rarely get enough of them for a power stack.
@@alex_the_magician9483 That's true in some cases. However, if you're lucky enough to get them from dwellings (springs or waterfall, or whatever it is), it is possible.

@@alex_the_magician9483 Maybe we have a different opinion on what power stack is. From my layman's point of view, it's a stack of which I have the largest number. In my case, it's usually Silver Pegasi as they still have the fastest growth of of the units I use. I don't use Centaurs or Dwarves in later games. The former seem to me too weak, and the latter too slow. That's why I often end up relying on not-so-big a number of Pegasi, rather than on low lvl units. Then I fight with my Unicorns and Goldies and Grand Elves as a range unit. Maybe that's a poor strategy, but I still have little experience in that game.
@@petrsadlo6244 Heh, yeah, that's not really what's referred to as a power stack. A power stack is basically your strongest stack of units that you rely on to deal damage. Usually it will be something like 30 cyclopes or wyvern or 7-10 angels/giants, etc. For silver pegasi, you'd need like 60-70 of them at least to make a decent power stack.
I’m old fashioned, I use my towns monsters all tiers I personally hate mixed teams or wyv wyverns and such

@@alex_the_magician9483 haha you right, I’m full of shit anyway cause i don’t mind cyclops stacks I love shooters, ideally I have 2-3 shooters 2 flyers and 2-3 walkers preferably fast like unicorns or cavaliers
Your webcam was covering up the angels in the angle.. err.. corner. Maybe should have placed it on the other side (mirrored).
why is there no red dragon powerstack, tey can be built up as well as minotaurs, maybe a bit less, a bit tougher to gather but still a good powerstack, especially when game gets long (you expect the game to be long)
they also prevent mass slow from entirely crippling your army because tgey are immune to it
Almost impossible to build on week 1, not a viable power stack for Jebus Cross.
@@alex_the_magician9483 in some games you have 2 and i even saw 3 dragon caves. That plus the portal can be 6-8 dragons

Mighty Gorgon Death Stare is more deadly than you may think. It is not exactly a CHANCE, it is 10% chance to outright KILL amything it stares at, for each individual MG in the stack. This means that with 5 MGs you have a 50-50 chance to kill one enemy unit, WHATEVER it may be, just with Death Stare, normal damage aside. Now, if we think BIG, get 11 MGs in a stack. That gives you 110% chance to kill one, right? Wait, 110%? How does THAT work? Well, it is really simple. With 11 MGs, you kill outright ONE enemy unit and have a 10% chance to kill another, and so on and so forth.
Take it to an extreme, with 101 MGs in a stack, you can outright KILL 10 Azure Dragons if you attack them AND have a 10% chance to kill an 11th, if present! It may be expensive to upgrade them, moreso than any other lvl 5 unit, but, tell me please, what other unit does that?? No spells required, no Knowledge, no Power, heck, even no Attack/Defense needed! Take the crappiest hero you can think of, load them up with a decent amount of Mighty Gorgons and see them plow through Dragon Utopias like nobody's business!!
You really NEED the numbers though, with fewer than 10 you always run the risk of no Death Stare (just 2 days ago, I saw a campaign video by Meridian - perhaps you know him or of him? - and he faced MGs in 7 stacks of 2 with a single Archangel, iirc, more than 20 attacks from the MGs and absolutely NOT ONE Death Stare!!)
Your calculation is not quite correct, there's a different formula in hota. Anyway they are good though, but a bit tough and expensive to build as they require the resource silo for the upgrade.
@@alex_the_magician9483 Sorry, I should have said this up front, my formula (not mine really, I got it from a Canadian player, back in 2000 or thereabouts) was for Heroes 3, not HotA!
The death stare isnt stacking like that.
I mean if u had stack of 5 MG thats not give you 50% to triggered death stare on this stack.
That gives u 10% x5 chance to hit.
So u still have a chance to not proc death stare even if u had 10 MG'S.
Cous its not 100% chance to proc.
Its 10% for eanch unit.

We can actually check that. Edit a random map, place 1k MGs somewhere, take up a large stack of top tier monsters (Azures is best, you ALWAYS notice if you lose even one!), attack and count your losses. If the MGs kill, outright, 1/10 of THEIR stack population in your stack, then I am correct, if they kill less, then you are correct.
@@MaegnasMw if u had 1k MG'S the possibility of not triggering death stare is nearest to impossible and u would probably kill 1/10 or higher of Azure's but its still 1000 x 10% not 1000%.
So its still theoretically possible to not proc a single death stare even if u had 1k 1 MLN and so on mgs.
