I love that dion and fatia became friends after that teaching/feeding because they were at each other's throats before that
I was on set this day. So amazing to see all that goes into one shot. We did a ton of takes for each camera angle.
I was there too, but without my glasses, I can't say I saw much. I was just trying not to trip.
If I lived close enough to Goshen Utah, I'd be a permanent extra for The Chosen!!
Season 5 ... ARGH!!!!!! I just want to see season 4 !!!!!!!! :::faints:::
The coins were Tyrian Shekels. They were minted in Tyre and were the only coins used in the Temple. They had a higher silver content than other coins, even Roman.
Thank you so very much for the BTS, Brother Brandon!!!!✝️❤️ I can't wait to see Season 4 and Season 5 of The Chosen!!!!✝️❤️ I love y'all so very much, Brother and Sister in Christ!!!!✝️🫂❤️😘
When I was growing up in my hometown church, my Sunday School would talk about Jesus' actions in the Temple. It seemed to be the final straw for Jesus. It was his time and he knew it. He tried to tell his followers what was about to happen, they were deaf. He must've felt so frustrated and alone.
I saw Erik, made my day!!
I can’t wait to see the new season. Thank you all . 🙏✝️❤️😘
He did this twice. The first time he said "My Father's house" and the second time was "My house is a house of worship" it's before and after his ministry
That’s cool
@@Echo_Joey I was close but here are the 2 verses
John 2:16 And he told those who sold the pigeons, “Take these things away; do not make my Father’s house a house of trade.”
Matthew 21:13 "My house shall be called a house of prayer"
I think one of the interesting things I learned (as a Christian) about Passover is that there was an underlying reason why Jesus overturned the tables. It is tradition to go through the house to clean out all the "leaven" (sin) from the home. So this is what Jesus was doing---He was cleaning out the sin (leaven) from His Father's house. Another interesting thing was that this was supposedly taking place in the Court of the Gentiles, which means this is the only area Gentiles were allowed to be on Temple property--it was as close as they could get to the Temple itself, if they wanted to worship God. And so the Pharisees allowed merchants in the Court of the Gentiles in order to fill the area so Gentiles could not even access the Court.
I think the cleansing of the temple is supposed to mirror how a priest was meant to deal with an unclean house from Leviticus 14:33-45.
Jesus was “checking” for disease. Then after some time once again, only to see that it was still unclean.
The law then said to break down the house for good, which was done to the temple later in that generation.
Good job btw!
Thanks! Season 5 is going to be great!
Still waiting for the Season 4 massive new scenes
Awesome! Thanks
I knew the cleansing of the temple was gonna happen in the chosen season 5
Dude just spoiling everything
I have been watching this series over and over, when is season 5😅?
The Lord is like, "I'm sick of this and I want to go home. No matter how I have to do it."
Great video!
I cheated because I didn't hear it so I put on closed captioned.
I didn’t know Fatia and Leander were Jewish. If they weren’t why would they be in Jerusalem for Passover. Maybe I missed it in Season 3
I don't think they are, however they would've been excited to see Jesus specifically that year. Remember, Jesus didn't stop being Jewish or tell others to not be Jewish, so they may have been interested in doing what He was doing. Maybe we'll get more clarity in the next season!
There was a phenomenon of pagans interested in Judaism, and even almost converting. These were called God-fearers.
@@jamesajiduah2001 That’s interesting. Could you tell me more about them? I would really like to know more about those people.
I've always been terribly disappointed they didn't have Jesus cleanse the temple at the beginning of His Ministry. He cleansed it twice. Since they've made us wait so long for what I think should be the coolest scene in the entire series, I hope the payoff is big.
was Phillip fired in season 4 or 5?
We don't know if the actor who played Philip, Yoshi, was 'fired'. He left the show after season 3 and it isn't clear if it was his choice. In any case, we wish him the best. He was not in season 4.
@@yes2day100I wish Yoshi had not left. Not thrilled with the new Philip’s performance so far.
@@marybethdearmonbailey2254 To be fair, they didn't give him much to do this season. He had maybe 2 or 3 lines. Kind of early to judge.
I wonder what is this huge blue wall for!?
It's for VFX
❤❤❤

Hey! It's a vertical video, so it's as big as it can get without cutting off the top and bottom 😬
Thanks! wonderful update on new scene.
Seems possible that Jesus did not cleanse the temple just one time---imagine all the money changers and stall holders hugging their tables EVERYTIME the Rabbi from Nazareth visits the temple for the feasts. As for that artpiece showing Jesus using a whip of cords, I think it is inaccurate: the object of the whip in the artwork is a person. I believe there is no evidence in the Gospels that Jesus lifted his hand physically against another human being (as anyone working with animals would know, the whip is for making a loud noise to move the animal). What Jesus did was popular with the people. There is a racket going on with the money changer giving 50% commission to the priests. And you could not bring a sacrifice to the temple but forced to buy from a priest-owned stall at the temple courtyard for ten times the city price. Forget about bring a sacrifice from your flock if you are a shepherd or wine or grain if you were a farmer. Imagine if a poor person's offering of turtle dove cost 1 shekel in the city -you have to pay 10 shekels for the sacrifice to be accepted by the priests at the altar. 9 shekels in one toga pocket goes to the "swiss bank account" and 1 shekel goes to the Lord. It's no wonder the people and Jesus are very upset. Best guess who yelled "Crucify him" outside Pilate's palace? Those priests with upside down tables with dash of sheep💩💩💩 on Palm Sunday! 🙂
Biraz az konus
You talk too much
It would be better if your screen is minimized and the chosen video expanded.
It’s a vertical video. 😅. It’s as big as it can possibly be 😬
Understood.
