When Little James asked Jesus for healing and Jesus explained why he would not heal him, it was so healing emotionally for me with my chronic pain. It helped my acceptance.
I so like this young man his acting abilities well developed & I have 2 very close friends w/MS. What troopers they are, no whinning. B 3:22 oth in 40's & hold quite important, great jobs. Great job young man!
I agree. I have prayed and prayed for my left leg and knee to be healed, but it remains the same. The scene between Jesus and Little James gave me so much peace. Like the Lord was telling me I have purpose for your pain. Keep serving and loving and trust my timing. Praise God for all the ways HE speaks to us.
THE BEST INTERVIEW! As a mom of an adult daughter with significant disabilities she (and I) have experienced wounds inside and outside of the faith community. God is using her challenges to conform us into the character of Christ - we are grateful to share in the fellowship of His suffering.
Thank you for this interview, on behalf of not only me but my whole family. My brother and I have both been in wheelchairs our entire life. We are both in our 30s. I mention that because we have not seen a scene like that before in all of these years. Again, thank you for interviewing Jordan. Beautiful!
I can't wait to meet you in the Kingdom, where we will run and bound like deer. I don't have full functionality of my lungs, and running becomes painful very quickly. It will be amazing.
Absolutely LOVE Little James! Jordan’s performance in S3E2, talking with Jesus about healing was so moving. As a person with scoliosis and type 1 diabetes, these are questions anyone with a chronic condition confronts. Excellent job Jordan! I hope we see Little James background story in S5. Thank you for this great interview!
Last year at Chosen con I was given a special privilege and honor to meet Jordan outside the official meet and greet. I need a walker to get around and therefore identify most with him and to Little James. I would give anything to have his confidence and strength.
I was so inspired by his sequence with Jesus, that I edited it into a prayer that I pray throughout the day to pull me through my toughest agonies. It goes like this: "And Jesus said to Little James, 'Precious Little James, when you discover yourself finding true strength BECAUSE of your weakness, and when you do great things IN MY NAME, the impact will last for generations. So hold on a little longer. And remember, James, YOU WILL BE HEALED, it's only a matter of time.' 'Thank you, Master.' ' Shalom, my son.' 'Shalom' ".
Very insightful interview. I really love Jordan's explanation of how he deals with his physical issues as a person and an actor. His portrayal has helped me personally deal with my own physical issues. It's still hard though when people make comments expecting things of me that I can't do.. they just don't understand. Blessings to Jordan!
I thought you were acting the limping! I love the fact that this program includes people with all they have, normal, regular people that have issues and illneses and disabilities. It make it even more inviting!!!
My mother was born premature She suffered with mental disorder...But she read the Bible everyday of her life....Thank you Jordan for sharing your story its always a Great Video WITH Brandon So Enjoyable 😊 Good Luck n Jesus Rocks I LOVE Him ❤
Brandon, this is an amazing interview. I know that you are so very busy, but I would love to see more of these interviews with other cast members. You do such a great job of asking important and relevant questions. Jordan Ross is so open about himself and his character of Little James. Magnificent video! I did see your interview with Amanda and loved it also. She is definitely an unsung hero and I know Dallas really loves and appreciates her. Thank you for all you and Vanessa do.
Brandon, thank you for this wonderful interview with Jordan Walker Ross aka Little James!! Jordan brings so much heart and soul to the character!! I know you’ve said why you prefer not to do cast interviews for the Chosen, but this was wonderful- to chat with Jordan!! The storyline of Little James, especially in season three really resonates with me!! Jordan, thank you for your beautiful portrayal of Little James!! May God’s blessings continue to flow to both of you and your families!!🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍
This was oh so insightful. Thanks to Jordan Ross for being so transparent. Thanks to you, Brandon, for asking good questions. Thanks to The Chosen team for allowing this exciting interview on set. This was great 👍🏽
Brother Brandon,0 Thank you so very much for interviewing Jordan!😀❤️ He brings so much joy, even though he's got a disability,it never slows him down.😀❤️ I love you so much, Brother in Christ!!!!✝️🫂❤️😘
That was such a wonderful interview Brandon. You and Jordon clicked so well with important topics on faith and strength through adversity. God Bless You.
Thank you Jordan for what you've brought to the show- such a crucial element that so many people struggle with. Helping people find peace with who they are and realising that no suffering is ever in vain. The Lord can use everything for his glory to bless and help many others as he surely has done in your case. Thank you for your impact. I so relate to your character.
At 3:58 Jordan talks about Little James not screaming or freaking out at his death. But I think a number of saints/martyrs died silently. Around 258AD, St. Lawrence was condemned to a slow, cruel death; he was tied on top of a metal grill and placed over a slow fire, so that he would essentially roast to death very slowly. Lawrence, in good spirits because he was doing God's work, joked, "Turn me over, I'm done on this side!" Several hours later his last words were, "It's cooked enough now." Then he died, saying a prayer for the conversion of Rome to the Catholic faith.
And amen, it worked! His prayers, and the prayers of the other saints and their martyrdom brought Christ to the world like they could have never imagined.
Wow! Brandon, what a great interview with Jordan! I love Jordan and how he plays Little James! And the fact that Jordan himself has gone through so much with his disability, he has such a great attitude about it! His life story is similar to my daughter because she was born six weeks early and has Cerebral Palsy too and she uses her wheelchair to get around! She too, struggles with why God didn't heal her too, and I think with Jordan's life story as with Little James that God chooses not to heal everybody but sometimes God uses their disability to bless others around them! So, I say, Thank you Jordan for being the person you are and blessing others around you! I wish my daughter could meet you so that you could encourage her too! Blessings to you, Jordan and your family! 🥲🥰😊💖
Jordan is awesome he's got a good outlook. And he is totally right when he's talking about the church crowd of people in the church and how people talk.
Thank you for this wonderful interview with Jordon. I love his attitude regarding his disabllity. The self love he has for himself and the pain he endures. I am also disabled and his story line has changed my own perspective of myself. I give thanks to God for each day that I can still walk. I am very slow compared to Little James lol. The insights I have gained from your posts and the Chosen are so valuable. Take care Brandon and thank you for sharing your wisdom and understanding of the Chosen cast. Many blessings and hugs! 😊
I just started watching this video, and will watch it all, but I am loving the CURLS in the room! I am also a curly girl, and love finding folks from the curly clan! ☺
Little James is one of my top favorites! He's absolutely adorable, and I absolutely love him! His sense of humor is top tier! I love you and your wife as well... I was bamboozled when I found our her and I shared the same name lol❤❤❤❤
The conversation between you and little James was really good and meaningful! The chosen should post this for all the non-chosen sleuthers (if that’s an official word😅)
I love this video with Jordon Walker Ross. It gets to the heart of him and his character. Im watching this from Calabasas CA. instead of St Jacobs. Cant wait or the next video. Maybe you are considering doing each of the actors who play the apostles?
I really enjoyed this interview with Jordan. He is a beautiful human being, and a great actor. I feel like he is the the PERFECT Little James! I loved his interactions with Liz in Season 4.
The way Little James is portrayed is one of the reasons I became so invested in the Chosen. Your interview with Jordan sets that sentiment in stone. I appreciate him SO much. Thank you for an excellent interview!
As someone who is in constant, chronic pain with my knees and hip, I can really relate to this character's struggle to keep up with the group, all while dealing with his physical difficulties, and trying to keep an upbeat and kind demeanor.
Loved the interview with lil James. Interesting that even in paintings he's depicted as possibly needing the cain. Interesting ❤ I can see the growth of these characters.
This was an amazing interview! Loved how he got his healing because it shows a lot of times God gives us what we need and it looks way different than how we think it should come or look. Also, I have a son with chronic back pains and hearing his story has helped me open up to thinking about him getting the spinal surgery, as well.
I empathize so much with little James not directly with the same handicap but very much parallel to it in someways I know the feelings he’s talking about!
People confuse me sometimes. I was in line at the grocery store... long line. No one was talking with each other. I turned and saw a man in a wheelchair right behind me. I asked him "So what did you do to get yourself in that chair?" The lady behind him was shocked and said "Oh my God". The guy laughed and said "I was driving recklessly & wrecked my car". We carried on the conversation all the while the lady was beside herself. Now, the guy actually thanked me for being kind enough to chat with him because people tend to ignore him. He asked why I did start talking with him and I told him "Well, we were all quiet & waiting so I just turned and started talking with him because he was the first person behind me. I had already tried talking with the person in front but that person didn't carry it forward. So I turned. He was there and the first thing popped into my head was Hey, what happened to you dude? Since it was busy & a long line a worker/checker from the bakery came over and asked the guy if he wanted her to check him out over by the bakery. BUT she asked him in a 'child like voice'. He looked at me like "That's how people talk to me. Did you hear her talking to me like I am a baby". I rolled my eyes saying "Yeah, dumb." But I said "Take advantage of the offer. Better than waiting any longer". He went for it. That meant the lady behind him got to move forward. She said to me "I can't believe you asked him that. So rude." I just turned around and gave her my back.
Hi Brandon, loved this interview - i thought you were so well prepared and kept it flowing really well. Jordan seemed so comfortable talking and sharing his story with you. God bless you and Vanessa ❤
Just the same when someone is dying and you know he will get a new body but that doesn’t matter you still want them to live and we grieve. And blame God that he didnt bring hem back to life
The chosen there cast and johnathen and Dallas made the Bible come to life and i know that everyone who watched the chosen there life is change And will read the Bible with pride and understanding. Thank you chosen all of you😊
My wife doesn’t cry at anything. Schindler’s List, holocaust movies, nothing. I’m bawling on every episode, but Little James’ heroism, especially his scene asking why he wasn’t healed absolutely wrecked us both.
So blessed by the work of all cast and crew in making this story so real and transformational with our relationship with Christ! Thank you Brandon also for your creat work!🌹❤️🇺🇸🙏😇🇮🇱🎶
I love little James and not at all as a person with a disability. His different ability makes him a man who understands humility and mercy and forgiveness. Love his friendship with Thaddeus. And how during the sermon on the mount when jesus says blessed are the meek and they show little james and thad
Jordan, love you Brother, great work 👊. If you read through any of this, and feel inclined to say, “I love you too”…hey, that’d be great 😂 Love you guys, and you all. God Bless You All In Jesus Name.
I went through the history, and James the Younger suffered the worst death of any of the apostles, and both he and Matthew died around the same time. It really made me sad to think that Matthew saw Mary for the last time in the show, before his own tragic death in Ethiopia. The real little James was thrown off of a tower (possibly David's Tower in Jerusalem) but he survived the fall, and was then beaten with clubs until he died.
😂 if I had the time I would continue our podcast, we had to stop it cause it took too much time 😅. It’s called “better not easy” if you want to check out some of the episodes. It’ll come back one day!
Not sure if someone already mentioned this but right around the 4:18-23 mark in the interview he mentioned about James becomes the bishop of Jerusalem…wasn’t it James, Jesus’ half brother that became a leader in the church council?
“I got the healing I needed.” That is such a deep statement.
"His pain becomes his superpower"....I LOVE that!!!! Truth!
Love that "Super Power" !!!
Been battling with kidney disease since I was 15 years old (I'm 49 now) The scene with Little James and Jesus is what made me get up and go to church!
Praise the LORD
When Little James asked Jesus for healing and Jesus explained why he would not heal him, it was so healing emotionally for me with my chronic pain. It helped my acceptance.
Yes same with me I keep telling myself the same
I so like this young man his acting abilities well developed & I have 2 very close friends w/MS. What troopers they are, no whinning. B 3:22 oth in 40's & hold quite important, great jobs.

Hello Brandon and Jordan
Little James is one of my favorite apostles.
Awesome
profound insight
HEY ALL! If you liked this one, Check out my interview with AMANDA JENKINS - ruclips.net/video/umuwYdMfCCE/видео.html
His circumstances don't change God's character!
When you see Little James and Mary Magadline together they remind me like brother and sister, they already know what the other is thinking.
I was 3 months early. I hear ya 🩵
