Hi Brandon!! I still say the Chosen should do a scene with the kids from season one- episode three!! I know they’d all be way older but it would be cool to see Abigail and Joshua as young adults following Jesus!!😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏
Yeah I will love to see Joshua the brave
Yes! That would be a remarkable scene!
This isn't a soap opera. They will be only three years older.
Oh, yes!! ❤❤❤❤
@yvetteking7749 season 1 was filmed in 2018. Because of the way they produce the show, the first few seasons were further apart. So the timeline of the show is only 3 years, but in reality those kids are 6 years older.
The young man is St. MARK, whose upper room was used for the last supper. He was also “the fleeing naked young man” when Jesus was arrested in the garden of Gethsemane in his gospel account 23:48
Mark was rich and educated. Probably wrote his gospel when he was still in his 20s. Stayed with Peter in Rome after being called to that city by Paul.
@@texaslocoman1 yes, and he was one of the 70 disciples according to Hippolytus & Irenaeus (disciple of John the beloved)
@@arleno95 he was wearing an expensive linen in the garden.
@@arleno95 Mark was still a kid here
“This is the end of Judas’ rope essentially”. Wooooow brutal lol
💀💀💀 nah, that's foul...
😂
😂🤣😂🤣😂
That's dark
Brandon MY GUESS IS : Atticus is the guy who makes/gives Jesus the Crown of Thorns. Surely, he must be the Son of God.😮 7/12/now
Brother, I just want to appreciate you for all you've done! You've made such a positive and loving community! 🙏🏻
I also thought it might be the man who carried Mary to Lazarus’ house in the Messengers, but you made me realize it can’t be him. I’m so excited to see who he is in Season 5. Can hardly wait! Thanks Sleuth for all your snooping!
Well said! And also can't wait! God bless!🙏
I vote for a Roman.
The guy whose outfit didn't scream main character was the guy who was lying on the bed when Dallas was reading the Psalm.
I don’t understand why people would think the mystery guy would be the thief on the cross. I’m sure he didn’t plan to die when Jesus did.
Lol 😂
I'd love to see them bring Abigail & Joshua the Brave back as young teens! They were from Capernium, but their families could be coming to Jerusalem for Passover! 💖
Its Lazarus' house. That's his table, from other scenes in season 4 and the tile work on the walls is the clue. It looks like sunfkowers
Speaking of ropes...I wonder if there will be a scene of Peter talking to Judas and teaching him how to tie knots in a rope. Brings a bit of foreshadowing for future events.
That's a bit morbid, don't ya think?
I wonder if Saint Mark will be introduced in this season. I believe the Last Supper was in his house.
Really?? Wow never knew that
@@Lukefromdaridgehis Jewish name is John his Greek name is Mark. His family was rich and had big lands and properties in Israel and other places. Bernabe was his uncle not his cousin.
@@texaslocoman1 Why does Paul's letter say his cousin? and why does that make a difference? Sorry if that sounds testy I am genuinely interested and carious...
@@Lukefromdaridge it could be a bad translation because cousins are about the same age. Barnabas looks like way older than Mark and makes sense being brother of Mark's mother Mary!
Could be..
6:12 it's the house of Lazarus (look at the wallpaper). 26:11 maybe a young Luke or Mark? 34:05 Herod's palace?
I agree it’s Lazarus’ house. Im surprised he didn’t remember, being so detailed.
that's what I thought.
The house is Laz’s house only 2 miles from Jerusalem. Look at the wall covering Abe chandelier’s
I think that season 5 will end with Jesus being arrested and playing dramatic music as the guards in Pharisees lead him away to house
That would be a good ending I think
I think so too! .
I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 5 🙏🏻😢 ITS GOING TO BE GREAT ❤
@TheChosenSleuth I actually just saw an interview this morning between Kirk Woller and The Bible Artist where Kirk said that he was going to Texas to shoot a couple of his scenes for Gaius in Season 5
"Ramah's gone" (chuckles) DUDE! OUCH! 😂😜
Wow Judas gave Thomas PTSD🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@edikanessien8602 I don't think Judas said anything. I was teasing Brandon for when he listed off the ladies.
😬
@@TheChosenSleuth love ya brutha.
@@TheChosenSleuth 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
I awoke this morning thinking Atticus is the father of Pilot.
😂
Lol Pilate father died when Pontius was still a teen. Pontius was raised by a man with good contacts with Cesar.
They staying at La Quinta…or is it La Quintus?! 🤣🤣🤣
2 guesses on the house {edit - on the first house picture with Shmuel}: 1) Nicodemus OR 2) I bet you that's Annas's house (See John 18). Shmuel is probably going to see Annas. Not necessarily "going around" Caiphas but just attempting to inform. When Jesus was arrested, the Roman soldiers and the temple guard didn't take him to Caiphas right away, they first took him to Annas, Caiphas's father-in-law.
{edit - 2nd house where most if these clips are from, I would love if it was Tamar's house w/ all the Egyptian things, or someone in connection with her. Her first scene in the chosen was talking about how she grew up there. I would love if it was Tamar's brother (who is still alive)'s house in Jerusalem}
I think the scene with the watcher sitting at the table with scrolls could be Luke. And we know Mary had contact with him for recording the ministry. Or maybe Mark.
Luke never met Jesus and he was a Greek physician and intellectual. He is like 20 here studying medicine in Antioch many miles away from Jerusalem 😮
I still think it's somebody helping Atticus
Thank you for this stream! I love BTS stuff! 💖
The sunflower wallpaper on the far end and the columns the lights & table all look like Lazarus’ house.
Could be the home of our favorite Pharisee, Mr Nic.
I love the scenes. Looking forward to Season 5.
The first scene with the women at the table is Lazarus’ house. The wall decoration gives it away.
I believe that's a rehearsal before the scene is done, but I could be wrong
I remember either reading or hearing about one of the rulers locking up the religious leaders' robes and only allowed them to wear the robes for a certain time. And they had to return the clothing afterwards so it could be locked up again. Is this why some of the clothing (like the temple guard uniforms) is different? (My brain works too much sometimes and doesn't always connect the dots. lol
I thought the watcher was affiliated with Atticus especially since Atticus seemed when talking with Pilate about Lazarus just seemed to have all the information and was very knowledgeable about it and reflective, not alarmed or asking questions/probing.
@@BrownEyedGirl331 that makes the MOST sense
Def NOT the Saul/Paul theory
It’s kinda like the Ramah coming back to life in another city when Jesus dies
All the woman at the table is at Lazarus house. Look at the wallpaper in the background...
I wonder if The Watcher is Matthias or Joseph Barsabbas! Also, I thought for a second that the guy next to Mary (maybe the Watcher) was Rafi.
Now I'm going to trip on mayonnaise... I think this "Watcher" could be the young Saul/Paul collecting evidence about the movements of Jesus and his followers!
Saul Paul was still in his teens here. Luke introduced him as young man, maybe in his early 20s when Deacon St Stephen was martyred.
@@texaslocoman1 The show really does not cast age correctly Jesus should be near 33 the actor 50 most the disciples should be teenagers early 20s but are much older.
@@lance9249 I can understand having a bunch of teenage actors might not have the impact these 30 something actors have. It is widely believed that Peter was one of the oldest maybe the oldest even some suggest he was older than Jesus LOL Died at 75 in 66 AD. But most likely he was in his mid 20s, died at about 63(63 was already old age in that era)
@@bumblebeecomentarista9273 Saul didn't know anything about Christians and Jesus in 30 AD. It was about 40 AD when he came to Jerusalem watching all those Christians around.
@@texaslocoman1 Thanks for the info!
I wonder if the women at the table is a different view of the house where the last supper will be?
This was an amazing video. Thank you for sharing this information. Great job.
That brings me back to my very first guess, which was that I thought he looked like the guy who took Mary Magdalene to see mother Mary in the Christmas episode. You had said no to that, but there he is again AND with Mary Magdalene.🤷♀️
it is a drop wall to give the effect of more buildings
The dark tinted scenes with Mary the other guy looks like John
I thought he kind of looked like Little James.
I DISLIKE so much how they keep getting such bad weather in Texas. We are such a great state that I’m sorry to see they keep experiencing such bad weather. (Of course, I’ve just dealt with Hurricane Beryl aftermath. 🙄)
An amazing thing is He not only needed to be King through the lineage of David but also Priest through the tribe of Levi… 😊 we don’t see it in the chosen, the baptizing with John the Baptist, but his lineage gave him that right to pass the priesthood to Jesus 😊 so Good!
That’s the wall In Lazarus’ house
Peter preaching here i think is meant to establish the denial later on. People will be able to know him more or be more familiar with his face. So denying Jesus later on would be a much more punch in the gut since Peter was so passionate preaching and then later on he will be "passionately" denying Jesus.
What about Josephus? He wasn’t Jewish, but was a historian at the time who documented all that was going on with Jesus’ death and after. This guy looks like he’s documenting.
Actually, Josephus was a Roman Jew. I do agree that the person at the desk appears to be researching something. Note the variety of media spread around: scrolls and parchments of different sizes and colors, and those tan/pink blocks might be clay tablets. One might infer that the person is poring over multiple historical and religious documents looking, perhaps, for Messianic connections or lineage of Jesus.
Josephus was Roman and should have been clean cut shaven
@@texaslocoman1 Josephus is a JEW, he fought against Romans, was caught by them
Day 27… that background wall with the geometric flowers… isn’t it Lazarus’s house? Maybe that long table where Mary of Bethany washed Jesus’s feet?
It’s possible, though I think it’s part of the new set. Bethany is only 2 miles away, but we haven’t really seen any of Bethany behind the scenes.
That's what I thought. Those flowers were at Bethany.
@@TheChosenSleuth
It’s possible they were only doing the “read through” on that set. Practicing lines.
@@TheChosenSleuth Jesus goes back to Bethany after the triumphal entry because it’s late
Mark 11:11
I wonder if the watcher was sent by Nicodemus since he had spoken with Mary Magdalene before
Could be the false witness
I think it’s herodes antiphas place with the same guards in blue in front
Herod was idumean. Most likely with Beard. And he was 48 here. The actor portraying him is too old.
The watcher guy reminds me of Saul from A.D. The Bible Continues film !
I think the temple guards that you mention (17.00-17.20 mins.) in blue are maybe herodians...? In episode 5 (season 4), Shmuel and Yussif are at the Sanhedrin and they mention the type of clothing the herodians (supporters of King Herod Antipas) wore.
Btw, I'm so grateful for you! I enjoy these videos so much!!!! Thank you and God bless ❤😊
The ladies are having a tea party
A youthful St Mark at 9:25? His parents owned the Upper Room where the Last Supper, doubting Thomas touching Jesus' wounds after the Resurrection, and the Pentecost took place.
John Mark was still a teenager here😅and his Father psnopulos died when he was a kid
Isn't Day 33 a shot of Samuel and Eli (1 Samuel 3:7-9)?
Just a guess :)
Thanks for the video!
The sunflowers on the walls look like the same as in Lazarus' house. (the scene with with ladies around the table)
Numbers 26:11 says the sons of korah didn’t die because they followed Moses not their father. Samuel was a descendent
Saul/Paul had never met or seen Jesus, until after His Ascension, on the Road to Damascus.
At 24:05, he looks like the guy who was rising from the bed when Dallas read Psalm 84! Maybe another throwback to Old Testament times?
Mark is thought to have been wealthy and provided the upper room for the last supper
I could see it.
Mark was a teenager here . His mother Mary was a rich widow and good friend of Peter.
Question...S5 will be the first season that I watch live. When it's in theaters, do they show the entire season back to back in one sitting?
The house the ladies are in, starting at 4:05, isn't that Lazerus' home in Bethany? And the guards in the blue tunics, 33:55, wouldn't they be Herod Antipas' guards?
They women were at Lazarus house in Bethany. Notice the pillars and flower wallpaper:)
The clothes of the watcher should be the clothes of Jesus 😮
I think the big house with temple guards might be Ciaphus' house. 🤔
At the Chosenathon 2 of the actors came into the interview area & said they'd just filmed Jesus turning over the tables & then Johnathan came in saying it was a lot of work! 😅
I think the new building with Temple Guards _might_ be Herod's quarters?
That scene from day 44, it's from
Luke 22:7 Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.
8Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”
9 “Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they asked.
10He replied, “As you enter the city, *a man carrying a jar of water* will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, 11and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 12He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.”
13They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover.
yeah 😁
I pray that they would remember that the last meal that Ye-hua had with His talmadium, was NOT a paschal sader 🛐🔎✒️📜🫀🔍👂🗣️👣
The palace of the high priest, Caiaphas
The merchants of the temple weren't thieves. Their activity was legal. But the selling trade made occasion for prophesy fulfillment.
Yes Tennessee had the cicadas bad we could hear them over the radio and you see a tree covered in them
Day 36 - I can't believe I'm seeing bellbottom pants! We're back in the '70s 🎉😂
Do you think Claudia could somehow be setting Joanna and the group up with a place? I'm not saying it's a perfect theory but Joanna was sending them things even though she had not left yet... so maybe it's possible? Just a thought.
Kinda feeling season 5 will end on a cliff hanger when soldiers/guards arrests Jesus.
And then Judas doing the betrayal kiss starts off season 6. That would be an intense set up imo. hahaha
Is that Lazerus house? Looks like it!
I think the house where all the ladies are at the table, is at Lazarus'. The wallpaper looks like it did then.
Ik I'm not the only one that got that deadpool and wolverine old spice ad.
I wonder if the mystery man is Mark the gospel writer cuz we have seen Luke in episodes.
Luke? I mean if Luke records Peter's words, then the watcher could maybe be Luke.
Luke never met Jesus.
Wow! That’s a lot of rain☔️
The man in indistinct clothing could be a stand-in for someone…
It is the watcher🎉
The man w/the scrolls; Is it Zenas the lawyer from Luke 10:25 and Titus 3:13
I think the watcher is mark who wrote the gospel of mark.
I could see it.
Mark was like,13 here lol
34:03
So, I believe that this building, uh, could be Nicodemus's house, or a house of any other of the, uh, members of the Sanhedrin. But, I'm more than likely leaning towards Nicodemus's house on this one for sure. This should be an interesting scene.
I just heard the words from Jonathan "question "and "that"
The weather is wicked
That’s Lazarus’ house lol it’s pretty obvious
This picture of the "watcher" just screams Saul to me, for some reason.
I think that the watcher is Luke.
Luke was far away from Jerusalem in 33 AD. And he was like 20 here.
@@texaslocoman1 The Chosen is portraying the crucifixion at 30AD which I believe is correct. And the watcher is clearly in his late 20s maybe early 30s by the time he hooks up with Paul and writes his gospel he could've been in his 50-60s.
@@rogersaucier6050 Luke never saw Jesus. Tradition says his first visit to Israel was in 41 AD . This is when he heard about the gospel of Mark and many other writings about Jesus. According to tradition Luke visited Efesus in 43 AD and interviewed John and the Virgin Mary there. Luke was Greek physician and probably was clean cut shaven.
I am pretty sure is Mathias” the one who will retake place for Judas. Remember the requirement to be the next apostle was to witness of the resurrection of Jesus. Acts 1:22
Saul got his appointment to Jerusalem about a year after the crucifixion of Jesus and he had to be brought up to speed about what those events. One would think that he would have been there for Passover, but he seemed to not have known a lot about Jesus before he got his assignment in Jerusalem. I wasn’t there, so what do I know, haha.
Saul was a tent maker. He just studied religion and law with gamaliel
The phrase he uses is "bandied about". It means when you say things without really thinking about what you're saying or the implications.
Bet the house belongs to Joseph of aramethia guess I spelled it right 😂
wondering why some of the women don't have their heads covered. Is it a rehearsal maybe?
Could the “pagan” house and unknown characters be Zacchaeus related.
He's a former zealot friend merchant
I think the watcher is connected somehow to Nicodemus
This house is Lazarus' house. The sunflowers on the wall are in the dining room
I don’t remember anyone saying before that the watcher was the rich young ruler, and didn’t Dallas say that we have guessed it? But if he was a thief that is how he would those riches right? Cuz he stole them.
The scene with the female characters looks !one Lazarus' house.
Could the Watcher be Luke?
Luke didn't visit Israel until 45 AD
that's the guy from Lazarus raising?
Could the young guy walking in the blue plain clothes be John Mark?
The scene on day 29 night with Peter and John i think it is when Jesus has been arrested and they are trying to
