Jesus is Lord! He paid for your sins! By the way, we were all sinners. (that’s our nature without God) Jesus died a very bad death for you. He was nailed to a cross. God (YAHWEH) wants your heart because He loves you. Jesus was the perfect Lamb to sacrifice because He had no blemish. In other words, Jesus never sinned but he died for our sins. He paid the fines for our sins. That’s so crazy because we sin so much in our daily lives! He rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit! Jesus was sent by God because He’s God’s own son! He was filled with the Precious Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) so He had the power over sin! We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things:
1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin)
2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you
3. Confess that Jesus is Lord.
I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. It’s not by our own works we get saved but the works of Jesus Christ. Put your trust in Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead your lives! I love you all, that’s why I am sharing this! I don’t anyone to go to hell! God bless you! Read the Bible!❤️🔥🕊😃

The guy who plays Matthew does an outstanding job! One of my favourite characters. Actually, I think this was a perfect cast...Nicodemus was also fantastic! Peter does a great job as well.....They all just do great!!!!!!!!!! well done!

There's something about Matthew --I just LOVE his character..and really feel a connection between the actor that plays Matthew and his execution of the role. Just love it.

Have you seen Jesus Revolution? Paras has a cameo on the pier when Lonnie Frisbee hands him a tract and asks if he knows Jesus, and Paras looks at him and the tract and then drops it on the ground 😁

There’s so many things to look forward to with the future of this great show - I can’t really say that I look forward to seeing the flogging, but I digress...
The scene with Nicodemus and Lilith was so powerful. The way she switched to possession and said, “You have no power here teacher.” I knew there was depth to the character that I wanted to see. To find out it was Mary Magdalene was amazing.
Paras' reaction to Noah when Dallas said he auditioned for Matthew really cracked me up!
Paras Patel's portrayal of Matthew has an aspenger feel to it that is very very real, I believe I'm an aspie myself (never diagnosed) and I felt so connected with this character. Seeing the actor being himself on this video makes me appreciate his work, as well as the scriptwriter's, great job!
If you believe it, you probably are. There are tons who are undiagnosed. I was one of them until about 5 years ago. Believe it or not, I actually felt like Thomas had Asperger's and so I googled this and found out it was actually Matthew who was! I think they both are the show begins implying this in season 2 and Thomas resents it. I actually just thought Matthew was a 'punchable' little worm in the first few episodes lol. Thomas has the kind of autism I have where we subconsciously see what we are in someone else and resent them; I reacted the same way my whole life, almost like 'I rose above this, what's your excuse?' May God humble us all.
Elisabeth is perfect in her role as Mary Magdalene . Thank you. Takes one right back in time.

As a Jesus/Scripture follower & lover, I’ve watched many movies about Jesus. This is the absolute most realistic version’. It make me feel like the Scriptures are coming alive right in front of me! I can’t recommend it enough! I can’t wait for next season!!! Praying 🙏🏻

They were perfectly suited for each role, couldn’t imagine anyone else portraying them. It was interesting to hear how each actor was at a point in their careers where they were questioning whether they wanted to be in the field anymore. It is a daunting industry, it seemed like these roles for them were a divine appointment mirroring the way in which Jesus called each of their characters out of their old lives. Are you casting any new characters for the second season and if so would that be through traditional casting agencies?
Yes!!! That really touched me how all three of them were in a broken place in their lives and then this huge blessing happened

Nothing can top Roumie's performance...and yet every member of the cast is still giving him a run for his money. A credit to the entire cast and crew, and the message of the entire show, that everyone is absolutely killing it.

I have to say it.... notice how amazingly God works mysterious ways. These cast membersALL said they were in a “bad” time of their careers. They all had some issue and were “taking a break” when they auditioned. I love the way God works!!! Wether or not believe in God, that’s your choice but it doesn’t make or break God. He is still the miracle worker that He was then as He is today and I love to see how He makes himself known to people. Thank you for sharing so much of yourselves and being honest in this interview.

Andrew was already my favorite character in this show (I say character because it's a representation of someone who was mentioned very rarely in Bible), but knowing that his actor like Lord of the Rings makes it even better.

Andrew is my favourite character, I symphatize with his characte being a good brother role, he plays it so well I was surprised finding out it wasn’t given to him straight away.
I had never listened to such a sincere and crystal-like interview in my life. The actress and actors were so comfortable to expose their fear or issues that were going on before the casting process that maybe, those deep and brutally honest remarks could be the result of working in a greatly emotional drama like that. They are just being themselves, being genuine.
Andrew is perfect as he is! I love how he developed his accent cause he sounds way different

Those interviews are really moving, we can see how much they engaged themselves in this project, how it moved them and changed them. That's a great addition to the show itself, which is amazing.

The casting of this show is perfect…
One of the things that I love about this series is that we can invest emotionally in the characters of each episode knowing that they were at one time real people. The actors do a phenomenal job of portraying them. Too many times we invest emotionally into shows that are fiction. We wish they were real people they're not. And all too often the actors are nothing like the characters that we come to love. I don't feel empty after watching The Chosen series. I feel hopeful. And the love between the actors shows through.
To the 8 people who gave The Chosen a thumbs down. I don't know you, you don't know me, but I want you to know I'm praying for all of you. I pray that you will all come to the saving grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

I purchased Season 1 after watching "the shepherd" a kazillion times. My heart is full of gratitude for all involved in this project and every time i watch an episode, i commit to pray for the actors in real life and each person who will watch each episode that the LORD will speak to their hearts as He has and continues to do in Mine... Praise His Holy Name!

Just about all the cast is perfect. Elizabeth Tabish is just amazing! It was such a joy for me and my daughter to be chosen as background extras for season 5 episode 1. It was an experience of a lifetime. All the actors, crew and Dallas were so friendly and appreciative to all 600 of us! Utah is a beautiful State.
I was surprised by how handsome many of the young men portraying disciples are. It seemed that having a unique handsome look was part of the consideration.

I'm just rewatching this and it amazes me how many actors were ready to give up on the entire industry before landing on the Chosen. I'm still looking to answer God's calling in my life and doors keep getting closed in my face. Each opportunity stirs up a deeper passion within me and then the disappointment crushes me more deeply. I keep telling myself that it's strength training for the next opportunity. I feel like I have run out of options, locally, and moving is not an option right now. I can't tell you how much I needed to just hear this again. There's power in the testimony of the saints, according to Revelation. Thank you, cast and crew, for sharing your testimonies. Through Christ, we will overcome.

The casting is amazing! The actors do such great job that I have to keep referring to the Bible. Jesus, during prayer in John 17 states that the apostles belonged to God the Father even before their selection. Just to watch their selection process brings the Bible to life. Each actor is amazing and fits their character perfect, only Peter's voice I had to get used to. Peter, the actor's personality matches Peter the apostle's. Great chemistry between Peter and wife! Also, great call from director to remove Peter from scenes that does not involved him or place him far in the background to bring cognizance to the lesser known apostles. Having Mary walk with Jesus as follower after her Deliverance is great teaching and ministry! The only way to maintain Deliverance is to walk with Jesus! The episode where Jesus healed the paralyzed man, the entire episode, the Director, Dallas Jenkins, deserves an award. Well directed! I pray the Lord continues to bless Dallas with even more talent as he depopulates hell and fill heaven. Glory to our Lord, Jesus Christ!
Wow, to think it took so many different tries to get Noah into the role of Andrew, and he does it SO well! Nobody could play Andrew the way Noah does.

One thing I have noticed in most of the actors/actresses, most of them were in their lowest points before they were casted, proving that God is in this show bringing people towards Him and the audience.
I love them all, but Matthew is my absolute favorite.
The casting was done so well. It's easy to identify each character as the person they've portrayed. I love them all, especially Jonathan's depiction of Jesus as relatable, loving & humorous. I imagine like the real Jesus❤

The director is talented beyond words, what he has accomplished is herculean. The actors/actresses are living icons of their respective saints/apostles. A lot of work both in heaven and on earth went into this show and the result is a living liturgy.
Matthew is the character that surprised me the most. Represented different than any other portrayal and yet that grabbed me.

I absolutely love THE CHOSEN and have shared (numerous times) the news with friends every chance I get. I was wondering what prompted Dallas Jenkins to have Matthew portrayed as one with Asperger's? The acting is brilliant. I've watched several of the episodes many many times. Also, will The Chosen be broadcast on TBN more times? I noticed it was on Monday night but wasn't listed on the Xfinity programming guide . I pray this will go the 7 season distance. The WORLD need this!

Elizabeth Tabbish is so perfect. Mary Magdalene is my patroness, and name saint. Her portrait is beautiful. It is incredible that the series starts with Mary's story when she is so often an after thought. And to see her, Apostle to the Apostles, actually walking with them. Not shown as the prostitute caught in adultery, which is a deliberate misinterpretation of her story.
Hopefully, Eden and more of the women will join them on the longer journeys, as scripture describes women going too, including women business owners lending support.
Honestly I've never seen a Jesus story honor women rightly. I mean the way I feel loved by Him. The way I was told in inspiration that Jesus loves Magdalene. This is the first show/movie I've seen that portrays women as full, active, beloved, central participants. It's what I've always known in my heart, but the first time I've seen it and heard it outside my own imagination. Almost every episode has moved me to tears.
It's such a gift to see how inspired the casting has been.

The character casting is amazing. There isn’t a character I feel is wrong for any of the parts.
Thank you for sharing the troubles thag actors go through. We usually don't know that, not that we can't imagine they have these kinds of troubles. But this makes me connected more to the actors/actresses in the series.
