My first truck (which is different than your first car, mind you) was an ‘84 K20. I loved it! These trucks are so much fun. I’ll eventually have to add another one to the fleet
I have an 85 suburban and 85 k10. Amazing trucks and endless aftermarket support for parts online/marketplace/local parts stores. Keep that tbi in it if you just want a great running around/work rig, crazy reliable.
Great find. I picked up a 79d100 a couple years back. More reliable than most vehicles on the road. It’s my daily. I just can’t buy a truck that’s over 30k . The prices on new trucks is mind blowing.
Damn dude a diesel swap is definitely what my truck needs lol. This may be in its future. Super cool trucks tho I’ve never owned one before this one but man do I really like it!
@hatchsrecreationalengineer1997 I started RUclips in January after I started watching you and a few others. Appreciate the inspiration. I frame Swapped mine onto a 2003 2500hd frame. You will love her. They are animals
That odomoter could have rolled over and be 144,000 miles. It''s a great buy. TBI is, as you say, gutless, but utterly reliable. You should get a '73 front clip for it to match the Novas.
All of the evidence that we have leads us to believe that the mileage is accurate at 44,000 miles..truck looks like the farmer bought it just for basic farm use
Started taking a shot every time Dan said super solid 🥴😵. Jk Dan. Super cool old survivor truck. I revived a 85 K20 Scotsdale that is the same color as yours a year ago for a winter beater. Hasn't let me down yet!
Go ahead and sand those rockers and indoor jams and prime them and put some paint on so you're there last 37 more years everything needs to be sanded primed and put some paint on it even if it's ugly paint that'll save the truck
You had me laughing when you were talking about the truck being drier than a popcorn fart! Good find man.
you found a gem just look past the cosmetic flaws wow brother so jealous
Man after my own heart. I got 9 68-72 novas and atleast a dozen squarebodys.
Hey man, appreciate your videos. Thanks for keeping us entertained.
I think she's a keeper. A little bit of freshening up, and that'll be a real nice truck to ride in. Definitely a good buy.
Those trucks are notorious for the rubber brake lines collapsing internally and holding the brakes on .
@@jessphuqette1716 that will be a dream come true if all I have to do is change the rubber brake lines.
Nice score! Nothing better than a good old Chevy truck hauling a Nova race car!✌️
I think you made an excellent buy. That old farm truck will serve you well.
Wow, that is a really nice solid truck. Great find for you.

Great truck for a family project. Can get your kids involved.

I just finished building my Cummins 12v swapped square body, I don’t think you’d regret doing any diesel swap on yours. My truck is amazing
Dual exaust with headers. Body work a little at a time. Flat black. Nice find.

Im fairly certain that your rear end is a 14 bolt semi-floater not the full float
What happened to the gremlin?
We still have the gremlin. It will be back very soon. We had to source some AMC parts for it
