Hi.. Is there any disadvantage or advantages of magnetic pump from r91 over commercial pump of gs3 ?? Which one is more reliable ❤ Thank you so much. Looking forward 🙏
the Rocket R Nine One is more versatile than the La Marzocco gs3 .😉 you can play with it a lot more and you also have the free print selection and can save it in 5 stations! The temperature stability of the Rocket is also better. Here, on the other hand, the GS3 fluctuates a lot during the reference.
3:56 … great decision to put the lever so close to the steam nozzle 😂 So in essence, the Marzochi is more ugly and has less features than the Rocket. Is that about right?
Looks are subjective, yet the R Nine One is def more feature rich. They do similar functions, yet the Rocket uses more technology to allow for greater control.
Well, let's put it this way, I've not come across many (any) reviews with folks raving about the way the GS3 looks - period. The results are undeniable and it's a legend in that regard but it's no Slayer.
@@78pianist design wise the Slayer wins, it’s such a beautiful machine! One drawback which prevented me buying it is that it doesn’t have a internal water reservoir.
The RNine is also manual, but you can also save the manual shot you just pulled and replicate it every time. That's a better feature than the GS3's purely manual shot.
What makes the gs3 more easily able to be taken to various locations? No feature mentioned in this video explains why this should be so. Also the gs3 allows continuously variable flow and not at set 3-6-9 bar selections. I was about to buy a gs3 but now you made me reevaluate the r9 one. The one thing that no review can do is tell me which machine I'll have in 20yrs as I fully expect a machine of these qualities to last that long. My current machine is a 40 yr old commercial single group. Still working well but no flow profiling and little temp stability
Both machine are great, I have the R9 for 2 year now and it works with zero issues. Both have good build, and both have pressure control but the R9 you can control it though the screen, the GS only manual If you take care of your machine water and cleaning it will last
The GS3 MP isn’t really 3-6-9 bars, it’s actually anything in between too. You can ramp up the pressure in very small increments. It’s just a constant 9 bar flow from the pump, which is adjusted by a needle valve at the group head.
It’s a conical valve, not a needle valve and I find even the more recent versions of the MP paddle rather fiddly - especially compared to something like the Lelit Bianca.
As well as making a great cup of coffee another thing that matters if you’re buying something this expensive is aesthetics. The La Mazarocco looks to be honest, horrible. It looks like something you’d find in the lab at a hospital. The Rocket R. Nine One, especially the deluxe version with the wood handles and sides looks beautiful.
I know aesthetic preference is subjective, but holy hell the GS3 is a hideous machine. One of the ugliest out there. I wouldn't want to look at something as fugly as that when I wake up every day. Same goes for the LM. It may be worse, actually. An squat little block. La Marzocco's prosumer machines may be well made, but they're eyesores.
Does depend on the environment, have seen so many fit-outs over the years and do like to visit when our team doing installs, and some machines in some houses just work. LM does have a commercial almost brutal look, compare to others. They are however great machines and I do have a soft spot for them.
Everyone has different tastes. I think the Rocket looks like a stainless box. Very boring of a machine, actually looks like it's something made in china. Kind of sad for that type of money. Gs3 Anyday. I have machines with all the tech. Just like roasting, everyone uses computers but some of the best roast comes from a guy roasting on an open flame.
@@TimW-fn9xrnot arguing about the great results from the GS3 but aesthetically it just looks like they didn't even try. It was conceived in 2008 and it still looks like it. Compare that with the Slayer. Similar key specifications but someone cared about the slayer styling. Unlike the slayer, the GS3 doesn't need to be plumbed. I'd be a buyer if its looks had been updated even a little.
I hesitated between the GS3 MP and AV. Coincidentally, a second-hand R9One came my way and I bought it. No regrets, fantastic machine!
Great to hear! Really is a neat machine :)
How about the magnetic pump of r91??
Is it really good?? Im in the middle between gs3 mp and r91.❤❤🙏🙏
Music is too loud so hard to concentrate on the dialogue.
Thank you for the feedback and I hear you.
We have since lowered it on the newly posted videos and bought a better microphone :)
@@CoffeePartsTV I was going to post the same critique lol glad you’ve already fixed the issue 👌
Fantastic review, well thought out and clearly explained. Been thoroughly enjoying your videos, keep up the top work 👍
Thanks, appreciate the feedback! :)

Could the R9 be ran in a coffee van effectively?

Great video and explanation of both!!!
Thank you!
Have you tested the volumetrics on the rocket? I read shots aren't repeatable when you save it and the amount of coffee in a cup will vary.
Thanks and yes the volumetric and save feature have been trialed and tested and are responsive to replicate a shot when using the save function.
Do either of these machines have pre-infusion and flow control options?
oh boy, you didn't watch the video did you....

@@CoffeePartsTV Thanks for your great review, though!

Finally, the comparison I've been waiting for, thank you so much.
Make me smile hearing that! :)
I wonder how the Slayer measures up to all these beauties..

I think the GS is much more "good" looking than the rocket, me personally I like the manual approach than automated

Ugh read the comments before posting, two people already addressed this.
