Why is it with the MP when you move the paddle to the pre infusion (3 bar) setting the rest of the water gets wasted and not re-directed back to the water tank or boiler?

Are there any high end home machines that don't use an app? I do not need another reason where I have to to use my phone, if anything thing I want to use the stupid thing less!
@@CoffeePartsTV it is a roatry pump, so it is probably sat at 9 bars and if you go lower than that, the excess pressure will go to the drip tray. It consumes too much water. Is there any way around that?
@@NANA-gy7yx You could always take it directly to 9-bar, but then you might as well get the AV. Wish they would answer your question with more suggestions.

I think these are as close as you can get in today's market. The GS3 can operate as a standalone unit without a need for the app.

Tell them to fix the damn water tray - the refill sensor always comes on and talking with La Marzocco they just think it is normal.
