I fully appreciate the amount of times I saw the Matt Murdock yelling clip used. It hits me like “Not the bees!”
He sounds fine in his regular accent. Charlie Cox's American accent for Daredevil is so smooth. I could listen to him talk all day. It's like ASMR.
I wasn't into Marvel stuff when the show Daredevil released, So after watching She-Hulk last week, the new character had me curious.... I binged all 3 seasons, and I gotta say that the brutal nature of Daredevil has made it my favorite MCU property....EVER

Alot of that is going around - im sure. Another obstacle for the Netflix series, agents of shield, carter, - etc is some people didnt want to invest time into it -If they were not In the MCU ..now that all these series are on D+ theres going to be alot of binging ..the same domino affect that made Feige, Horne and Iger lay the master plan to get D+ going ..they saw Netflix metrics .. as soon as somebody finishes DD ..they watch punisher and then jessica jones and then the digital on demand for the MCU movies starts spiking. A middling show like Hawkeye on D+ got more minutes viewed in that 1 season than the entire 39 episode DareDevil series from 2015 until it left netflix in march. Imagine the spike in the Netflix series and how many people will tune in when DareDevils new series comes to D+

What am I hoping to see? A Daredevil, Deadpool, and Spider-Man team-up movie about Team Red.

Kingpin is obviously Daredevil's great nemesis. He is also a major nemesis for Spiderman. As such Deadpool's hero worship of Spiderman completes the triangle. It's perfectly possible for Daredevil, Spiderman and Deadpool to team up. They could even join forces specifically to deal with Kingpin. But, when I say "join forces"... With Deadpool it's more like gatecrashing. "Oh, Spidey and Spandex Devil are beating up a fat guy. I'll have some of that! Put down those donuts obese Professor X! Hi ho Deadpool. Away!".

Hopefully we will see him and Spider-Man team up in future projects
they'll probably team up during born again like how the punisher was in daredevil for a few episodes in a row

@@MIA7Xthies spidey can do cameos in other productions (civil war, infinity war etc.) , but disney cant make headline spidey stuff themselves, thats up to sony. same with hulk and universal, except universal doesn't make hulk films since the first two, and he only cameos for now. just silly copyright stuff really

Daredevil is one of my all time favs, and the Netflix series was fantastic (and ABSOLUTELY canon) and I have absolutely no issue with how he was portrayed in She-Hulk; in fact I loved it and I eagerly await the new series
I feel sorry for anyone who couldn't let themselves laugh at the walk of shame. I can only think they have never experienced it, can't relate and are really pissed about it. They probably blame the women they weren't going home from too.

Love how they used the red lighting during Daredevils scenes just like they did in the show. Then when She-Hulk was in scene too there would also be a bright green light shining from the background.

In season 3 of Daredevil it was stated that Matt got rid of his devil suit and Dex's Daredevil suit was never Matts it was just Melvin making another suit which is why Matt visits Melvin and they fight

The Netflix show will always be MCU Canon to me. Especially after hearing his music in She-Hulk.

In response to the question how can DD communicate with echo if she is deaf and he is blind. Easy. DD's super hearing. He can hear the way limbs move and positions they take. How else do you think he fights? He listens. And echo can read lips also. So there you have it. He has super hearing to hear her movements in sign language and she can read lips if he just talks. They might just make it part of the show that he already knows sign language.
It’s more than just super hearing. It’s radar sense; all his senses are severely heightened, so he’ll be able to navigate through the world and ofc fight etc.
@@jordang716 Yes all his senses are heightened. I'm specifically talking about hearing though like how he listens to heartbeats to tell if someone is lying. If you remember one of the first fights he had in the Netflix series he's fighting a guy in the rain and the camera slows down to show how he is listening for each punch. Therefore he's listening to movements and knows where they are going. My point is if he is doing that, he can hear echos sign language motions all the way up to each fine motor movement with her fingers.
He can sense the ASL.

I’m hoping we see more of Daredevil’s rogues show up in this series. They could bring in the Jester, the Shroud, an accurate the Owl, bring back Wilson Bethel and Elodie Yung.
They definitely need to bring back Wilson Bethel as Bullseye and he better be wearing his comic accurate Bullseye suit as well. As you pointed out, I also would love to see some other Daredevil villains and supporting characters we haven’t seen. Especially the more outlandish ones from the comics. The Jester would definitely be an excellent villain to see DD go up against and I’d also love to see someone like the Shroud show up as well.
I love Charlie Cox and Vincent Denafrio they’re perfect, Daredevil and Kingpin are main enemies for alot of reasons and too much of this is never enough
The other thing people keep forgetting is that in She-Hulk we're seeing Matt and Daredevil as he presents himself to the outside world. He doesn't show up in a law court crying, nor does he pick up women all miserable (and we know from Foggy that he's a player). So, we're seeing the public Daredevil. If Jennifer ends up in Daredevil's show (and I really hope she does), she'll see his dark side.
And Tatiana Maslany can totally keep up with him there.

The dog reminded me, we saw leland owlsley in netflix’s daredevil, but i was excited to see him turn into the owl and we never saw that, i hope we see that in born again
He did mention that he had a son, so I got to thinking that maybe his son would take on the role of The Owl instead and take revenge upon Daredevil. Obviously never happened in the show but possible if they do continue the story from s1-3

I hope we get Spidey in the new season of Daredevil. Maybe an episode will have them work together; against a lower level Spider-Man villain
I doubt Sony's gonna let Spider-Man show up in a D+ show, but Daredevil in a Spider-Man movie is a different story...
Initially the writers of She-Hulk wanted Spiderman to show up but Sony refused. Don't get your hopes up 🥴
Kingpin vs Daredevil will never get old
I have said this before, but I see Born Again as a new Issue 1. It will be a continuation of the Netflix series but it will not be required watching. Anyone in Born Again, will have enough context in their introduction to catch anyone up to the point Born Again needs.
Just a new Issue 1, not a complete reboot, not a different series, but a new take on the same character

Bullseye vs Daredevil
Vanessa running Kingpin's empire, Bullseye unleashed on Daredevil and a complete reboot of Elektra.
So I know there isn’t an mapped out series plan for this show but on the last season I’d like it to do the “End Of Days” story. That would be incredible for them to do that for the show as for a nice send off as well as a new introduction for whoever takes up the mantle.

I am free rewriting my comment to your previous exploration of Daredevil: Born again storyarch:
I like this theory except for foggy getting killed right off the bat. What if Foggy and Matt get dusted leaving Caren on her own, which causes her drug relapse. Vanessa didn't get blipped, but her pilot flying her around did. The plane crashes and she dies. Kingpin sees injustice when foggy and Matt get blipped back safe but his Vanessa is still gone because of a technicality. Goes rage mode and takes out foggy when they return.
He never had that suit in season 3. Potter made it specifically for Poindexter. Matt's suit was destroyed in Defenders.

Just one correction: Bullseye was not wearing one of Daredevil's suits, Kingpin forced Melvin Potter to make 2 specifically for Agent Poindexter. However, it is still likely that Matt never got his suits back after being blipped.
If Doug ever decides to go out on his own, this channel is gonna have a hard time competing.

Love this take but but but: I think these "smaller-scale" superheroes (like Daredevil) started emerging DURING the blip. I mean, I would love to one day watch a show about what happened all over the world during the blip. The things that would have uncovered, the crimes that would have gotten out of hand, the massive political and economic fallouts, and most importantly for the MCU is the absence of crucial superheroes. The vulnerability that caused might have encouraged these small-time superheroes to step up and that's why we're being introduced to them now. Surely the people needed more superheroes which is why we're now seeing more of them in public.
If you met new people post 2023 (especially dating), the first ice breaker should be "did you blip?" It should be on people's dating profiles "Blipped: yes or no"

YES! This is what I want and think we’re getting from Daredevil Born Again. The sheer fact the Daredevil Netflix themed played when he announced his name is why I think this is the way Marvel is going with the character in the MCU. Think Spider-Man: Freshman Year. That will be our MCU Spider-Man origin story up until the diverge in the timeline (Peter meeting Norman rather than Tony). They won’t just throw away the Netflix series

I feel Netflix's 3 shows are completely related to MCU. The theory that Matt blipped and bcoz of 5 years break and no suit, he went to Luke. And Kingpin didn't blip so he took advantage of the blip situation and came out of the prison and was able to establish his network again. It will be a great setup in DAREDEVIL BORN AGAIN. E

Exploring NY, new characters, processing the trauma after NWH, teasing someone big is behind all of it for the next trilogy. In SP5 team up with Daredevil to fight a part of Kingpins plan. In SP6 Sinister Six of Kingpin where Spider-Man with his regular friends and Harry as Goblin fighting against them
Daredevil tv show is canon Ryan. As you say it had references to Avengers movies and they’re embracing it now with same actors for DD, Kingpin, Foggy etc. not to mention DD is now on Disney +. I love your breakdowns they’re great and I couldn’t imagine doing it better but no need for nerdy references to Loki alternative universes here. Of course the multiverse is a runway for the MCU to do whatever they want going forward but in instances like this we should hold them accountable.

The fact that Murdock mentions the sokovia accords I'd say he blipped. Then again a good attorney reads up on things so variant could work as well. I'd much prefer him being blipped and maybe even a west coast avengers type deal. I Don't think the mcu or the world is ready for young avengers as most predict

I’m kinda hoping that all the Netflix heroes come back not just Daredevil but also Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and the Punisher. Just put Iron Fist and Luke Cage in one show called Heroes for Hire cause they work much better as a duo than as solo acts.

i think that the original Netflix series is full-time canon, because there's nothing that could contradict the main MCU.
but...
there's also Iron Fist. who knows what would be done about this show. i hope to see him in Shang-Chi 2 or something, because i really like the actor and the supporting cast, but the story itself in that series was extremely boring and unentertaining.
Daredevil on netflix ended with a cliffhanger, if Daredevil: born again ends in a cliffhanger I will be Spittin’ mad
