In Echo apparently Matt is searching for Jessica Jones. I think Jessica will be important in the next Daredevil season, which is why it's 18 episodes as it's effectively a series for all the Defenders, maybe he's making a team with Echo, Jessica, Punisher and Luke Cage to take down Kingpin's empire once and for all
Notice... no Iron Fist. Personally... I find this BS. It needed a 3rd season. Wing as Iron Fist would have been great... and fit the M-She-U at the same time.
Supes fighting massive world changing threats don't have to concern themselves much with harder socio-economic questions. Depicting "street" level crime, however, all but requires the series address those questions, especially seeing as Matt's a street level lawyer and as such would know a lot about the failings of the justice system and the prison industrial complex. For all the merits of the original Netflix run of Daredevil, that run avoided concerning itself with many of these questions. Here's to hoping they'll change that approach.
I honestly would find it more interesting if Daredevil lost Karen and Foggie. I think it would be interesting seeing how he dealt with the blip and the return of those who blipped imo
Actually that's nearly how I imagined Daredevil`s return to the MCU even before it was officially confirmed. Only that I imagined Foggy ans Karen to be snapped as well. The blip can be used to explain so much. Kingpin definitely was not blipped because as we've seen in Hawkeye he was behind the death of Echo's father which definitely happend during the blip because before and after there was non Ronin
except for the fact that it couldn't be Clint's Ronin at the time because Echo was still too young at the time of her father's death and Clint was only Ronin from 2018 to 2023. Also there is no logically way that Kingpin can left that Prison he was in and he isn't being released from it. Kingpin, Foggy, Karen, and Matt all had to blipped it's the only it can make sense.
@@Spidervenom23 have to rewatch but if I remember right her father was killed she already was an adult. The scene with "uncle" happened earlier. Matt, Foggy, Karen and Vanessa snapped makes a lot of sense, but Kingpin was around. With Vanessa and Daredevil gone he had no reason to stay in prison and in the chaos after the blip he built his new imperium. He even managed to get some super soldier serum and now he's so much stronger. Daredevil will have to team up (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, She Hulk, and/or Spidey) to even have a chance
It is New York so I want Spider-Man and Kingpin as well :3 Kingpin hires Scorpion and Scorpion becomes the villain of the movie. Spider-Man has a venom suit what fits him perfectly because of his emotional damage. He is alone, he doesnt understand why criminals are so bad. He hates all of them because of them he lost his friends and family. Spider-Man's new suit makes him full of vengeance. At the end (final fight) Scorpion gives up with scared eyes due of Spider-Man's aggression. Spider-Man sees it and stops fighting and starts crying over how criminals make innocent people's life worse, especially his. Scorpion explains his position why he is working for someone and agrees with Spider-Man, so decides to find a good path. In the post credit scene the ex villain works at a car service (or so), seems to be happy. He ends his shift and comes back home. He meets two suspicious men. They kill him. Next we see Kingpin who has just answered a call proving they eliminated the traitor.
I really hope they show even just a flashback of the blip in the new series. The scene would be so emotional watching Matt tilt his head in that way he does when he's listening as half the heartbeats around him stop. The blip was very overwhelming for everyone, but imagine it from the perspective of someone who can't visually see what's going on.
I want all of this except Foggy dying. I like him too much. Whatever happens, I'm so excited for Daredevil to return. He's my favorite after Spider-Man.
I agree! We need our avocado at law. If we lose him, I feel like we would lose a part of Matt. I think Foggy and Karen keep Matt grounded in a way. Matt would lose his support system.
Honestly, the Netflix Daredevil series was great, but I recall frustration in how long they took to show Daredevil, let alone Daredevil kicking ass and taking names. I hope this series is all about Daredevil fighting Kingpin and whoever else gets in his way!
I can agree and disagree because season one was his origin story, so they were building up for him to be Daredevil my only problem was he got beaten up a lot in his Netflix show from regular goons
There doesn’t need to be an explanation for Kingpin’s strength. In the comics, he was always just a durable, power driven man with 300 pounds of pure muscle. He’s just strong, has always been that strong and this is them just amping it up a bit to be more cinematic
Definitely. I never understood why everyone treated it like it needed an explanation when the episode aired. They are moving the character into the mcu, and there's no reason to assume that it's even the same version of the character.
@@Cafeman_2D I took it like we’ve just never seen people use weapons like that against him before so he was always capable of not being penetrated, especially since they didn’t have the budget in the Netflix shows to really have advanced weapons like that against him. Again, in the comics, He could take on super powered people with advanced weapons and hold his own without any enhancements of his own. That’s what makes him a threat. The only other protection I could think of is his Kevlar laced suits
My favourite moment as yet in this multiverse phase was Willem Dafoes grieving performance about someone living in his house, and when he says "my son".. probably completely off topic.
It would have been really cool if at the end of no way home when Peter is stood at aunt mays grave with happy, matt walked over to pay his respects and that was there introduction
I love this freaking story of how to start the show so much. My only thought is I don't think Hawkeye happened during the blip. Someone comments on the new statue of liberty which happened in No Way Home. Other than that I 100% hope this is what they do. Really sets the stage so well and makes Kingpin seem so unstoppable. Since his wife will be back, though, I think he will second guess his rash decision since now he's vulnerable and Daredevil could come after her at any minute!
Can you imagine having the ability to turn people into dust through some way or another, and then using that ability to both kill people and absolutely terrify the ones that survive, making them think the snap happened again. The person able to do it could do it from the shadows, or even blatantly in front of people to instill even more fear.
Judging from the She-Hulk trailers, Prof. Hulk has two functional arms, so speculation is her series will take place between the Snap and the Blip, and with DD being teased as being in the show, that puts the kibosh on the “Matt was snapped” setup.
Creating a moment where Matt hears THE Snap all the way in New York would be so incredible. It symbolically connects Matt to the wider MCU as a street level hero.
Nothing would make me happier than a serialized live action Spiderman show in which he cross paths with daredevil. Would love to see a live action team up.
Hello Screencrush, I like your theories about MCU movies. In fact I have a lot (my) theory about "Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness". 1. Where's America Chavez parents are 2. About on how America Chavez already know how to control her power 3. About the incursion 4. About the Dark hold 5. Doctor strange's dreamwalking 6. About Wanda (Scarlet Witch) And more... I hope I can discuss this to you and hope I can share it to you and to other MCU fans out there please notice meeeee
They need all 18 episodes because they are going to reintroduce all of The Defenders, Punisher, Daughters of the Dragon, Kingpin, Bullseye, and at least some of their other supporting characters from the Netflix shows.
I would actually like it if Matt wasn't blipped. They could have a show set during the blip where there's a lot of chaos and crime so Matt has to take a much more active role as Daredevil. Maybe they could do a Marvel version of the Batman story arc "No Man's Land" where New York is taken over by different supervillains so Daredevil and other street level heroes like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage have to take the city back from criminals and establish their own areas to protect.
Robert Rodriguez has to direct at least a few episodes. Frank Miller wrote Born Again AND Sin City. Rodriguez directed Sin City, working very close with Miller while doing so. RR has already directed for D+, The Mandorian & Book of Boba Fett. It's just a win-win.
Hmmm - only issue I could see would be that Peter Parker hired Matt as a lawyer. If everyone knew he was DD, probably wouldn't have happened that way. Maybe. And I don't think Kingpin would have blipped if Hawkeye was fighting against him during prior to Endgame. Going to be an awesome series, either way - Charlie's DD has been one of the most compelling characters in the MCU so far.
Daredevil eats an orange slice Ryan: how Daredevil eating a orange slice can save the multiverse, cure Wanda's depression, resurrect Natasha, make everyone remember Peter Parker, restore Hawkeye's hearing and stop global warming? Such a DD fanboy. Hahahaha 😂❣️
Holding the video on 1:44 to say 3 things 1. We still need to see people blipped and then getting back 2. Why? Because the skrulls and their invasion... We need to know who's and who's not really a human... Sort of to not spoil the future in MCU 3. Then we might imagine we can and we have been fools by the 'returns' imagine if this daredevil ended up being a skrull... Now we are talking about the real deal with the skrulls and invasion stuff don't you think?
Auto-like for your video Ryan... but the Kevin Bacon clip just never gets old, it's always be hilarious. You should put this more often on future uploads.
I agree, as for being stronger though, Super Serum would make sense and as we all heard but not saw Echo shoot him point blank, SS also grants the user a Regenerative Healing Factor so he was in fact harmed but managed to survive (just needed a little healing time until "Echo" on Disney+ comes out) to get his revenge (and this time Daredevil will be here, just rumors, though). Surviving a blast from many of Kate Bishop's exploding arrow heads, a hit from a car head on, being able to rip a door off a car with his bar hands. Maybe he has just a potent version of the SS, but not the Pure one that Steve Rogers has. This would be a perfect series for "Valentina Allegra" and "Yelena Belova" to return in some form.
If this happens I really hope we get the option where Kingpin does the killing. I don't want the person he hired to kill people (Clint/Ronan) to be the killer. It was bad enough with Echo's dad and we only knew him for about 5 minutes. And didn't Falcon & Winter Soldier cover a lot of the re-blip stuff with the Flag Smashers? How those who came back got back what they had and those who stayed were being displaced? So, are they going to ignore that creepy repatriation group that I can't remember the name of? Or do you think those leaders listened to Sam's (much too long) speech and they tried to make things right only to make them worse?
The only thing I see as an issue with the standing in the ruins storyline is that call the Netflix serieses happened post Avengers 1 movie so the NYC destruction already occurred
Born Again is both to be taken in the meta way as well as Matt potentially being brought back from the snap. It would explain why KP is free by the time we see him in Hawkeye and not dead or behind bars.
What a great point! I now want to watch and read law professors weigh in on these topics. The only thing that seems comparable is being a POW or a hostage, but I have no idea what the legal rulings, if any, say about the laws relating to it.
One way that I think the MCU Level threat will connect to the bigger epic MCU is that the Kingpin will gain prominence from his dealings with heroes and he will become a anti-hero politician that will become U.S. president. The United States will be ruled by a supervillain wich will cause trouble for the heroes in organizing with the U.S. government (like SHIELD) against a bigger global threat like Kang or Dr. Doom.
I think Kingpin and Matt didn't get blipped but Foggy and Karen did therefore Matt lost his will to be a vigilante (bc he failed to save his friends). Kingpin on the other hand, started to rebuild his empire while trying to find a way to get Vanessa back from getting blipped. In his search for a way, he stumbled upon a super serum that gave him super strength (which could explain why he was super strong and was able to survive the car crash in Hawkeye). That's just my personal theory mates.
I’m not sure if it being 18 episodes means it’ll have 50 minute episodes, god I hope you’re right. But I do think it’s more to compensate for having episodes around 30 minutes, honestly I just hope they do Daredevil justice doesn’t need to match episode length. Definitely needs to match quality, while still making it fresh and relevant
I think it will be closer to Devil’s Reign leading into Shadowlands. I see this being more of a Defenders project with a lot of street heroes going up against Kingpin. I’m hoping that this is not the last place where we see Kingpin as he should be in the next Spider-Man film and Thunderbolts.
This is all depending on whether or not they continue the series where they left off. I think the first 3 seasons are gonna be written off as just an alternate timeline. I feel like marvel isn’t going to want to cuff themselves to the already established story when they can do it all again they’re own way. Like season 3 was just the born again storyline so for them to be doing it again shows that they have they’re own version to tell

I think Jessica will be important in the next Daredevil season, which is why it's 18 episodes as it's effectively a series for all the Defenders, maybe he's making a team with Echo, Jessica, Punisher and Luke Cage to take down Kingpin's empire once and for all
Daredevil would never willingly work in a team with Punisher
@@Jellybob69 I agree, but like in the Civil War comics Steve Rogers refused to as well until he was forced to work with him.
Notice... no Iron Fist.
Personally... I find this BS. It needed a 3rd season. Wing as Iron Fist would have been great... and fit the M-She-U at the same time.
@@MaleusMaleficarum iron fist might be with shang chi in the heroes for hire
@@jacmenz4113 I hope so .If there is a backstory scene with him, I want to see him in the scene where he killed the Dragon and get his power.
These are some seriously well thought out theories! Dang. Nice work!
Man! That made me think of all the permutations on ways DD: BORN AGAIN might go. I can't wait for this series to drop.
It is New York so I want Spider-Man and Kingpin as well :3
Kingpin hires Scorpion and Scorpion becomes the villain of the movie.
Killing off your beloved characters for dramatic effect before a series starts is poor use of your characters. I doubt Feige will make that mistake.
1st season Foggy was horrible. He was better by Season 3... actually capable and somewhat confident in his own lawyering.
Was he not shot in the chest with an arrow, which didn't penetrate his skin? He did seem to be wearing body armor. I actually didn't like that scene.
@@Cafeman_2D I mean, in the netflix series he was wearing bulletproof suits.
This is probably the most well thought out theory I’ve ever been privy to, so glad I found this channel!
My favourite moment as yet in this multiverse phase was Willem Dafoes grieving performance about someone living in his house, and when he says "my son".. probably completely off topic.
I was under the impression Kingpin got blipped. Got that impression in Hawk Eye.
Your theories are always mind blowing. Thanks again for the breakdown!!
Per your question at the end, Ryan: all of those things. I want ALL OF THOSE THINGS.
OMG I did not even know about this yet, so thank you, you've made my week!!!

But in daredevil season 3 matt showed kingpin his face and kingpin already knew
Hello Screencrush, I like your theories about MCU movies. In fact I have a lot (my) theory about "Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness".
1. Where's America Chavez parents are
2. About on how America Chavez already know how to control her power
3. About the incursion
4. About the Dark hold
5. Doctor strange's dreamwalking
6. About Wanda (Scarlet Witch)
And more... I hope I can discuss this to you and hope I can share it to you and to other MCU fans out there please notice meeeee
I feel like this channel has turned it all fan fiction and I'm digging it
They need all 18 episodes because they are going to reintroduce all of The Defenders, Punisher, Daughters of the Dragon, Kingpin, Bullseye, and at least some of their other supporting characters from the Netflix shows.
I would actually like it if Matt wasn't blipped. They could have a show set during the blip where there's a lot of chaos and crime so Matt has to take a much more active role as Daredevil.
Maybe they could do a Marvel version of the Batman story arc "No Man's Land" where New York is taken over by different supervillains so Daredevil and other street level heroes like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage have to take the city back from criminals and establish their own areas to protect.
the blip is when they came back so it's more like matt didn't get snapped away
Robert Rodriguez has to direct at least a few episodes. Frank Miller wrote Born Again AND Sin City. Rodriguez directed Sin City, working very close with Miller while doing so. RR has already directed for D+, The Mandorian & Book of Boba Fett. It's just a win-win.
Great theories! Wish the writers were half as thoughtful as you!
Daredevil eats an orange slice
Ryan: how Daredevil eating a orange slice can save the multiverse, cure Wanda's depression, resurrect Natasha, make everyone remember Peter Parker, restore Hawkeye's hearing and stop global warming?
Such a DD fanboy. Hahahaha 😂❣️
Great points regarding the legislation and implication behind the blip...that exploration would be very interesting
This might be the very best speculative MCU video I have ever watched. And i watch a lot of them.
The lawyer angle post blip is fascinating like comics were when covered civil war from journalist perspective.
RUclipsrs like Ryan are especially excited for Charlie Cox's return thanks to how easy that makes for segues for Keeps
Auto-like for your video Ryan... but the Kevin Bacon clip just never gets old, it's always be hilarious. You should put this more often on future uploads.
"as matt frantically looks in every direction" - Screencrush, 2022
As always, Ryan gives us lots to think about. I look forward to what’s next.
This is my new favorite channel.
We know Kingpin survived the blip since he tipped off Clint as Ronin to Maya's father's location and he is only Ronin during the blip.
This would be a perfect series for "Valentina Allegra" and "Yelena Belova" to return in some form.
you meant survived the snap
you are the king of cut away clips.
Dude I love your theories. I hope everything is as cool as you think it could be.
I...yyyyyyyyyy like this possible theory of the story!!!!
I love how everyone snapped in a plane got to survive but if the Pilot died and the plane went down everyone in that plane died
Your thinking of SWORD i think
Matt having to defend Kingpin in court would be dope.
Actually this is a decent theory. Nice job 👍🏼 love seeing all the different ramifications of the blip.
I feel like 'born again' will be the main theme of the show and it will apply to almost all the characters in different ways.
I love your pitches for this show and u am super excited to what we actually get.
The only thing I see as an issue with the standing in the ruins storyline is that call the Netflix serieses happened post Avengers 1 movie so the NYC destruction already occurred
Rockin' +1 .. feel like I just watched half an episode! good work!
As always love your theories! I think it would be awesome to see Matt handling the legal ramifications from The Blip!
I think the shorter length of the WV series eps was more an homage to the sitcoms than related to the number of eps.
If they have an Aunt May cameo or being part of the daredevil show I would be so happy but also crying my eyes out again
18 episodes !!!!!!!!!!! I was a little bit hyped before, now i'm full on hyped!
I now need this to be what Daredevil Born Again is
I don't know what they have planned, but I'd definitely watch what you're pitching!
I’m hoping Foggy can stay alive I need Nelson Murdock and Page again 😭
This is all depending on whether or not they continue the series where they left off. I think the first 3 seasons are gonna be written off as just an alternate timeline. I feel like marvel isn’t going to want to cuff themselves to the already established story when they can do it all again they’re own way. Like season 3 was just the born again storyline so for them to be doing it again shows that they have they’re own version to tell
how they will do daredevil in a pg format is something im excited to see
Great video!
I actually like this. Foggy dying would be hard, but not a bad concept. This is generally how I'd like to see the return, plus or minus a few details.
Marvel Studios Dare Devil Reborn this is a new time line
U lost me at Foggy dying.
I like that idea. I do hope it does try and focus or balance the hero aspect with the law side of it like it did in the Netflix version.
Daredevil Born Again is taken from the comic book run, with the same title, that began in the 80’s.
Thank you for your videos!
