@@orlandothomas4813 this is a ton of engine .. it’s really methanol only for best performance and power. You would have much better efficiency if you run methanol

A good 450 pro mx or kart motor easily makes over 60 hp on race gas. 4 lightweight valves, overhead cams , liquid cooling all make a difference
I love the video where the guy was trashing the bracket talking about it adjusted timing in the wrong direction and we all jumped in and trying to explain it to him and he never once said thanks guys for setting me straight so I understand how it works. He must have felt like an asshole.

I just got into building these small engines. After building 1000’s of V8’s. And when I need to know what has to be done. Paul is the man. It’s fun porting and building these small engines. You can build one and test fast and turn around pull it apart make changes and see how it works. Your the man Paul
Can you do this on all Honda clones?
I can sleeve most small block clones yes but some blocks can’t go as big as others. But most can go to 3” but if it’s not a tillotson reinforced block you’d want to weld the block for support

@@paulskartslifan4206 Is it possible to make a top fuel predator/ single cylinder engine? Enough nitro borderlining hydrolock, and enough energy into the spark plug its like a arc welder. The spark plug would only last 5 seconds max, but the power is unheard of, how would one put that much amperage in these spark plugs?

I’m currently working on putting a Honda gx390 on a mini bike. @paulskartslifan4206 it would have to be fuel injected. I just see to many issues with a carburetor. But then it's possible I just don't want loss of power if I'm gonna take the time and money to try it
They sell a fuel injection kit from Japan it has a computer that his USB for a laptop so you can tweek it so it makes it easier to turbo
Mr Paul, I m a newbie here and have a.O65 milled 32/25 EC 14 cc head on a 224 with 0 deck height and a 275 rpq cam that seems to screem for the most part, what springs should I use for a drag racing type setup ?

Dual coil 60’s minimum on a big valve head that turns over 7,200 rpm .. and you’ll want a 28mm carb. I put a link to our gas carb but I’d recommend methanol if possible
Remember guys that advance is always against distributor rotation or in this case flywheel rotation

Hey Paul. You feel a completely polished chamber is better than a rough sand blasted finish? Have you tried a light sandblasted chamber. And have you tried golfballing the piston?

I wonder how those top head bolt holes hold up being so close to the bore ? They must be so close to busting through the threads?

@@aussiegrunt2117 well so far we found 80mm is the biggest you can go. Bolt holes are the biggest issue it’s actually a very complex build setup. The 300cc tested out at 45.6 hp untuned , looking at fuel curve and where timing was there is an easy 10 HP left in it. Timing was at a safe 35° and at this level a degree of timing is about 3hp. Prob wants 39° and carb was very rich .. was just a safe test of power. Haven’t had any down time to do more tuning on the shop beast but it has lots of room to grow.

That thing is a MONSTER! LOVE it. Is there any benefit to making something like with with oil pressure bearings for the Crank like in the Predator max performance 459cc?
The splash line works fine .. they go years and years if maintained correctly. These big blocks when built with the good stuff are ultimately bullet proof

I run a FCR37 on my 460 stroker. I was running a FCR33. I think the FCR33 was an all around a better carburetor for my particular setup. I removed the velocity stack and now run a billet air filter adapter with a K&N clamp style filter. I can't remember the website I got it from but OEM Keihin adapters work perfectly.
What's a good lift on an 263 or 236?
Depending on valve length (most stainless are +.070”) 👍 and head setup if seats are cut for racing flow (and valves sit lower) 👍 I aim for .430-.450” lift on non hemi engines with minimum milled off head (less than .010” ) 👍
@@paulskartslifan4206 got .150 longer with .060 shims with dual 60s ? .475 + lift potential. Would I Ned to get piston cut.
@@Strict30 the 60’s can’t really support that lift “and” function correctly. I’d ask you, Is it a big valve head ?
