    Dud.
Yes wall thickness is important to the rod stroke.
I talked to my wife for her opinion

How much interference do you set your sleeves into the block with?

Usually I aim for .008” crush .. but even heating block and cooling the sleeve they get stuck halfway sometimes … that’s the worst when I have to cut off the top of the sleeve and bore it out and scrap a sleeve but 19/20 go in fine with that interference .. I chamfer the block slightly and the bottom of the LA sleeves has a good chamfer , I use locktight “green” sleeve lock. And also leave a lip at the bottom of the blocks counter bore to act as a sleeve stop at the bottom.
Good questions man. Keep ‘em coming

@@paulskartslifan4206 A man after my own heart. I too shoot for .008" when sleeving cylinders, minimum of .006". LA Sleeve says 4 but I do more. I mostly do 2-stroke jugs and hone the casting for better heat transfer and finish, the liners slide in smooth and lock up tight once aligned.

@@BillyWillicker same here after I bore them I run a ball gone through the counter bore counter clockwise to smooth it out. I then wipe it with WD 40 to clean before heating it. Do the hot block cold sleeve. I wipe the sleeve rust coating off with WD40 first and then put a thin coat of green locktight on the bottom half of the sleeve then cool it down. Goes together great usually 🤣 .. times it gets stuck half way sucks but that’s only about 1-20 blocks. Easy to just bore through it and go again but still sucks .. right on brother ! Great stuff. Amazing comment and love talking shop with a fellow builder 😎
