Just a note about someone boring oversize. We always get the piston before boring and honing. Pistons are off-size just enough, just often enough, to put the piston-to-wall clearance outside of your target. It's happened often enough in eleven years that we won't finish a bore in advance.
Man I've been around race cars all my life we ported our own heads and just recently bought a set of 15 degree sbc heads and let me tell you you know wtf you doing I'm getting ready to build a engine and I'm buying one of your heads I can't wait
Other than stage 1 (air filter, ex. pipe) what are the best mods for a stock cam stock rod 212? Im thinking 1.3 rockers and hotter spark-coil should do it.? Wanna keep it pretty mellow and reliable. Non hemi Lifan? 212 (Monster Moto 212 Pro).
Those sound like great mods .. also like Anthony stated , springs and flywheel would be great. But we’re getting into higher rpm’s with those mods and you would want to put a billet rod for that.
You’re the man Paul. Guys should listen. All true

Great advice to give out. I feel exactly the same way. Great comment

Add 18 or 22lbs valve springs and an aluminum flywheel.
