You should get these heads digitized and cnc ported so there is no more hand porting, You can can get the chamber and intake and exhaust to your spec and they will be ran on a 5 axis cnc porting machine. you can also try the cnc dimple port for the intake instead of roughing out the in port by hand.
Yea I’d love to try cnc porting. I don’t know who to even ask for that. Do you know any cnc shop that does cnc port work? I have made molds of my best ports so would even have something for them to scan too. The dimpling works. I did it on a gx390 head back in the day and did tons of flow work on that head too. Was a guy that did kart circle track. He had a couple cars and a few heads he sent me. Was a cool project . Thanks for watching man. It’s appreciated
Mann, I love all this information. I just wish I could just put it all in my head. Ik I can but lots to learn fs. I only have a small block 212. Nothing special, all I have is everything to prevent it from blowing up really, I have done my own porting. I love porting. Just making something better with what I have is what I like doing. Sadly I can’t have all the parts to make a big power engine, though I wish. Anyways love your videos on making power. I try and apply it all to my 212 really.
@Paul's karts Lifan 420 nice! What are the bore and stroke on that? I may be interested in building one for myself. Are these parts I can find on your website, or are they all custom pieces?
I have a 69mm stroke and stock length arc rod. What is the biggest piston available that will work with them in a stock block i am curious to know its 440cc now with 90mm bore.
Mph is not how engines are sold .. mph comes down to power to weight ratio and also how you want your acceleration to be. Gearing played into speed also. Power to weight ratio / more power less weight will allow lower gearing and faster acceleration and top speed. // more power but also heavier vehicle will need taller gearing to have same acceleration but less top speed. As weight increases or power decreases taller gearing becomes more important to maintain acceleration. The more power you have the lighter the vehicle you have the option to put tall gears and have crazy acceleration for say a 330’ race or same power to weight using shorter gearing to raise top speed at cost of acceleration. Long story short the more power and the lighter you are the better you can gear your vehicle for its task.

Thanks man .. like 3 days of prep and welding haha
Bad ass! Love your work!
Thanks man
Paul this is fukkin cool man. I love your get it done attitude.
Question, how do we get to 550cc? I'm intrigued.
Big bore and big stroke. I make a damn near 600cc .. only 4 of them out in the world tho. But they are dominating there areas lol

If you fill the oil passage up how does the oil get to the head?
Push rods and vent hoses
Paul im interested in doing a 500cc + .i have a 69mm stroker crank and the arc billet rod. Where can i source a 101mm piston?
I can check what I have in the shop, I have some big stuff
