Another way to look at this is from a literal standpoint - we know that the victors of nature devour the defeated and losers, predator devours prey thats how the world works, especially in the case of Sukuna, but he was introduced to the story by *BEING DEVOURED* - so in a literal sense, Yuji was Sukuna's predator, kinda like how he was Mahito's predator (Wolf & Rabbit scene). In essence, Yuji challenges Sukuna's top-dog ideal, a prey devouring the apex-predator, something that simply shouldn't happen in nature and in his mind.

Does any one else see Tengens face in Sukunas domain? I think Kenjaku was the mother that starved Sukuna and that’s where his obsession with a fused being began. He even jokes Tengens form without his star to transfer in reminded him of Sukuna. I think he wants the perfect merger body but Sukuna was too strong so he offered him immortality so he could create a bloodline to revive and house but also weaken Sukuna so he can merge with Tengen and Kenjaku can finally black zetsu him and gain the perfect body. If so that would make Yuji the one to “inherit his will” except Kenjaku may not anticipate the “failure” of the death wombs leading to Yuji having more brothers than Sukuna and may have even more arms and limbs and CT’s once he fully awakens explaining why all the cursed wombs have multiple limbs, a stomach mouth, and a nose mark like Sukuna has in one form.

the issue is that the fight hasnt been shown on screen but uraume is probably even more broken than we thought(there was that whole thing about her "not holding back" and bringing out the big ice ball) but either way hakari is by far the best matchup for uruame since hes practically immortal, i honestly doubt that even yuta would be able to take her 1 on 1 and on the chance he did win his ce reserves would be absolutely tanked from all the rct hed have to use

So the problem with the argument of "Without Hakari, Uraume would have killed everyone" is that you're pretty much setting up everyone else to fail. Because assume Sukuna loses right now against Todo and Yuji. Everyone is at 1% HP. Uraume just Maximum Output frost calms and dips. Hakari survives sure but Yuji and whoever else is fighting with him is supposedly dead. If we're trying to glaze up Uraume that hard to make Hakari feel relevant. Because HAKARI LOOKS LIKE SHIT. And Uraume don't have a lick on them. I have not seen such an off screen disparity before. Hakari can't do it on his own, THIS MAN NEEDS HELP.
