Anime (Japanese: アニメ, IPA: [aꜜɲime] ⓘ) is hand-drawn and computer-generated animation originating from Japan. Outside Japan and in English, anime refers specifically to animation produced in Japan.[1] However, in Japan and Japanese, anime (a term derived from a shortening of the English word animation) describes all animated works, regardless of style or origin. Many works of animation with a similar style to Japanese animation are also produced outside Japan. Video games sometimes also feature themes and art styles that can be considered as "anime".
The earliest commercial Japanese animation dates to 1917. A characteristic art style emerged in the 1960s with the works of cartoonist Osamu Tezuka and spread in following decades, developing a large domestic audience. Anime is distributed theatrically, through television broadcasts, directly to home media, and over the Internet. In addition to original works, anime are often adaptations of Japanese comics (manga), light novels, or video games. It is classified into numerous genres targeting various broad and niche audiences.[2]
Anime is a diverse medium with distinctive production methods that have adapted in response to emergent technologies. It combines graphic art, characterization, cinematography, and other forms of imaginative and individualistic techniques.[3] Compared to Western animation, anime production generally focuses less on movement, and more on the detail of settings and use of "camera effects", such as panning, zooming, and angle shots.[3] Diverse art styles are used, and character proportions and features can be quite varied, with a common characteristic feature being large and emotive eyes.[4]
Masculism or masculinism[a] may variously refer to ideologies and socio-political movements that seek to eliminate sexism against men,[6][7] or increase adherence to or promotion of attributes regarded as typical of males.[8][9][7] The terms may also refer to the men's rights movement or men's movement,[b] as well as a type of antifeminism.[11][4][12]

Iroh from Avatar the Last Airbender for me is the apitemy of Positive Masculinity in media.
Kamina from Gurren Laggann and All Might
Honestly, this is one of the better videos on masculinity I've seen because it gives a bit of sympathy men, especially young men, who went down a dark road and provide advice that isn't as rigid as other videos have put it, while criticizing the alpha male space, but not completely shaming the men who had these ideas and taking the positive message those videos may potentially have. The main point being, men and their influence do matter, and men should find peace, learning to be content with themselves. This is what I got from this video. Thank you, for the wisdom my man.🙏
Kento Nanami
Stories are the greatest thing in world. They have the power to help anyone develop and mature into a better being.
Ichigo Kurosaki, Isshin Kurosaki as well. Armin from AOT. Sung Jin Woo - Solo Leveling. These characters despise how op they are, just want to live a normal life, and care about the family the most
I truly do think tho that (almost) every male role model in anime, manga, or media have their own ways of making you admire them and i respect that.
alexander Rider - Fate Zero
Goku is my 2nd dad.
Shinobu sensui, Makoto shishio, Kiado, Griffith, Madara , Enel , Majin Buu, Broly OG, Eren , Doma, Ryomen sukuna , Kenjaku and Tserriednich Hui Guo Rou
How is your pfp allowed 😭
Edgelords in the comment section...
Prob allmight or thorfinn.
You’d think it be something original but nah it’s the same crappie jokes.
Thors>Thorfin
Whitebeard, guts, and goku.
Guts is a perfect pick
Berserks guts AFTER conviction arc but his progression before that point in the story and even after is a good example of growth on both ends of the what it means to be a man spectrum. From rock bottom to becoming a great example of masculinity with much to still learn and discover in life, guts embodies what it means to be a man.
Goku was right about everything with Gohan
Gohan himself wasn't even thinking what Piccolo said, we literally get a monologue from Gohan about how he understands what Goku was trying to do and saying he would rise to the occasion
Just because he tried to take responsibility for it doesn't mean he actually did anything wrong. He took in Piccolos, wrong, perspective and doubted himself because he's empathetic but he was not wrong and didn't misjudge
It had to be Griffith for me. The way he inspires me, I truly look up to him as a role model
Not funny.
I agree with u man griffith and hisoka fr. Those 2 dear lord bring me so much positivity.
@@futurelegacyproductions1298 and don’t forget the doctor from fmab. His dedication to his science, and his love for his daughter and dog…..beautiful
Light Yagami
Truly the Pinnacle
oh nahhhhhh
Character's like Yujiro Hanna from Baki and Griffith from Berserk is better role models
Yeah Kim Jung Un is a great example too!
Weirdly enough yeah. It was hella odd but super interesting to hear Yujiro's speech on respecting the life they consumed as they sat and ate before their fight. Shit was wild.
That would be Ryomen Himkuna
Fraudkuna*
@@AidenMoore-cd7oh Goatkuna
Daddy Mahoraga's adopted son aka history's greatest fraud.
While Josuke is my favorite Jojo
Bruno is easily my favorite character of the whole serie: great man with a very versitle stand.
It’s only because the world of Jujutsu is so cruel that we don’t see more often but I think Yuji is another great male role model even though he’s only 15. When he fought Junpei he realized halfway through the fight that he hadn’t try to understand and listen to Junpei side instead he rushed in with self righteousness which blinded him for a second. Sometimes we have good intentions in life but our own good will can lead us into coming to conclusion. We have to slow down and ask ourselves is what we’re doing truly right even if you had no bad intentions to begin with.
Where's mahito 🤨
Nah fr thought that was mahito in the thumbnail for a sec there
Roy Mustang is a good one too!
The sad thing about Goku. Is that he is considered an amazing father by Japanese standards because he gives a damn about his wife and kids.
And honestly he is not a bad father he is perfectly good, he loves his children and his children love him and he does try to spend time with them its just that at least with Gohan he just doesnt share the same interests and with goten chi chi stops him from training him when he is young
There are plenty of episodes in super when we see goku just tagging along with goten, spending time together in his work as a radish farmer or whatever
@@carso1500 And he was either dead or training to stop evil more or less thru all of Gohan's childhood.

Positive Masculinity??? Bro all masculinity is positive. What are you even saying ?
There is no toxic or positive masculinity
Only masculinity and the surrounding circumstances
Wrong
I'll never uunderstand how being masculine is toxic sorry
WTF is positive masculinity?
I describe it in the first 2 minutes lol
@@therealogdaffy lol it was rhetorical, there’s no one to demonstrate positive masculinity, Vegeta is a perfect example of positive masculinity as well as others can’t deny those as well
