I was a OTR truck driver for many years and one city looks like any other city when you are passing through it.. If you really want to actually get the feel of a place you cant just leave the hotel for a few hours and walk around a few random blocks or just hit the cities tourist sights. The only times that I had fun in a new city was when I hooked up with a local and they took me to some of their favorite hangouts.

For Nordic Fuzzcon, I just made it a large vacation. 1 week in Sweden, 2 weeks in Denmark. Granted, the decision was also largely because one of my best friends lives in Denmark, so the excuse was certainly there. One of the better decisions imo. Gonna be a yearly thing for sure. Wouldn't have known I would love it so much there if I didn't do it.

One of the tracking devices I use is called Samsung tracker are Samsung smart tag 2 it's the best tracker if you use in Samsung devices

I would do that with friends if they want to go. Otherwise I am mostly just stick around the con to first suit and hang out with friends and have room parties lol.

I'm working on my own hybrid fursona that has features from about six or so creatures. Is it a tad overly ambitious? Definitely, but these features are what resonate with me and it's nice to know that other people have similar experiences surrounding fursonas.

I love doing this, and make a point of doing it at every con I can! At AC this year some friends and I discovered this AMAZING Authentic Greek restaurant around half a mile from the convention center. The guy running it had to be like 80 and he was the most kind and generous host. The place was super authentic, and apparently served Jackie Kennedy at one point, so a bunch of the dishes he brought out he was like “Oh Jackie Kennedy LOVED this one!” One of my group even said, “I’ve been to Greek restaurants IN GREECE, and most of them aren’t this authentic!” Man, that was such a good restaurant. We plan to make it an annual con tradition going forward. 👀

Without the reason to go to a con I’d have never been to Birmingham for ConFuzzled and next month I'll travel to Suhl for EAST. Furries seem to love travelling around. ^^

i think a great thing to do outside the FurDu space during FurDu is to go to an AFL game if you're interested. It all comes down to whether one of the Queensland teams is playing a home game during FurDu, but its also nice to go out and do something you wouldn't normally do

You folks' cons seem like fun. The algorithm doesn't usually recommend furry con related stuff so this was a surprise.

It’s always best to explore the area around the con space because if you’re planning on travelling back to the same place again for another furcon you will know exactly where it is and will not get lost

Yes I highly recommend exploring. When I was in Phoenix I got to look around and I just loved the area. There's amazing things to go do.

This is the first furry I’ve ever seen/met that I didn’t hate. I actually respect you. Good on you. I’m proud of you and respect everything you do because you spoke up when most wouldn’t. My mental health hasn’t been the best recently and this recognition on an extremely important topic is awesome. Men’s mental awareness month formed and signed May 31, 1994 to begin June 1, 1994 and pride month started June 1, 1999. I completely believe that the pride community is a little wild but I support their cause. But you can’t forget men in general (not you, your awesome bro) because we matter too!!!!

love your content, and i also love to travel. I am more of a globe trotter than a con gower but I have been to many cons but not the fury type yet. I have too many comic cons, BlizzCon, and other gaming cons. along with on the last leg of my world Disney tour. i have China left and will need a new travel goal. I would love to go to a fury but I am older and feel that the Fury Con is a younger person's game.

i also found a few inexpensive non chain restaurants when i went to a convention in ottawa. dont be afraid to look around for places that aren't mcdonalds who serve inexpensive but good food.

i find when i travel to conventions i often also will check out the nearby museums or nightlife. for example in toronto i would go to the royal ontario museum or the hockey hall of fame or even the bata shoe museum
