'only the best for trek, am I right?' Said paramount never. That packaging is horrible. It looks like they put enough features in there to make it worth while purchase however.

Maybe it's my questionable sanity, but comparing the viewing experience / vibe between TOS on DVD vs TOS on VHS, OG vs Remastered, they feel like almost completely different shows to me. Not in a bad way. I recommend the VHS experience to anyone with the time, money and space it requires. There's an added... je ne sais quoi DVD Wallet squad.

I own this set, as well as the Blu-ray version of the original series (Although I mostly got the latter just to watch the original versions of the episodes)! I do like it, as I feel that it matches nicely with the other Star Trek Shows that I own on DVD as well (TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, Picard, and Discovery, which I pre-ordered) and as a completist, I do have the animated series on Blu-Ray. I must say this set does have great special features as well! For my favorite episode of this series, I recently discovered that I really like the episode Mirror, Mirror! I should probably watch the rest of the series, though, as I’ve only seen all of season one, and a few select episodes of seasons two and three! WARP SPEED AHEAD!!! Had to get a DVD book for Perry Mason the complete series, but I'm happy I got the original DVD sets of the OS in the gold, blue and red boxes for $150 back in 2010. That came with cards telling you which episodes were on the disc's, and the disc's also had no episode names on them, and were just plain. Not bad, but if I had waited a couple years I could have bought them for $50. Oh well! Great video as always! 🖖

Now the question is, how many discs do you have to remove to see the episode lists? Four or Five? All you have to do is tell me that there are five discs and you can return to the Federation...jk. When you said you had to remove four discs on one side and five discs on the other, I had to try and squeeze in some of that "Chain of Command" Cardassian stuff in there. Lol. I don't own the complete series set, but I do own the individual 2013 DVD set for season 1, and the individual 2015 (same year as the original Complete Series DVD set that you have) Blu-ray set for season 2. The DVD set has the exact same discs as the season 1 discs in your set, complete with the awesome disc art, but the season 2 Blu-ray discs are of the bland variety, though the menu layout is the same as the DVD releases.

The TOS blu-rays are better since they let you switch between the original and remastered effects which I'm not a fan of.

Since you are using a disk binder (good idea!) it'll be laborious, but straight forward to print stickers with episode info that can be attached to each pocket in the binder.

That DS9 box set is sexy to the eye, I hear the laser disc version is amazing.

Alright! Just finished the video, honestly great review. And i'd honestly consider it...if I had a DVD player hooked up, I got my PS5 which plays bluerays but unsure about DVD. Anyway! I will say *Episode titles aside* great artistic design, and they're 100% better than the orginal print DVD's I have, my box set is just a box of Season One, with 10 DVD's all double sided (I think), there is no way to tell what episodes are on it besides a slip of paper they added to the boxed set, and you can barely tell what disc there are with the only indication being 2pt font about a centimeter around the disc's hole.

Voyager has so few bad episodes that the only one that really comes to everyone's mind is the Salamander episode and it's not really terrible, just weird versus the general high quality of the others. This episode was good enough that I forgot about how bad Tuvok's initial suggestion was. Would have been better if they exhausted other ideas first to make it more reasonable. There's a quest in Fallout 3 that reminded of this episode. I wonder if they took inspiration from it.

yes it is, some graphics part were slighty enhanced, the music of Spencer Nielsen, the additional level in the sega cd version.

As a 21 year Navy Veteran, Jellico was correct in most things. Riker was being a baby the entire episode. The only thing Jellico should have done was tell the crew to get ready for war in case talks failed. He may have saved a few arguments that way

You could probably do a whole unsolved mysteries series on background characters...

Out of all the characters that Star Trek DS9 had to offer, Odo was easily my favorite. A sly but strict shapeshifter that was never afraid to stand up for what he believed in, even when his morals were tested. It's no wonder Kira was attracted to him what with her being a former freedom fighter. It was always nice to see them together. As well as interesting to see where their relationship would go.

I love how they grew a spine and committed to having Kira actually kill that guy. That's one thing that makes DS9 the best one. They let the characters do horrible things.

Those modern action figures made to pull apart & reassemble would be the perfect way to make modern Borg figures. It would be trivial to army build them & make them look different. We haven't even really had many Borg toys overall, maybe 7 unique molds throughout the years in the various lines.

There might be some irony in her actress later playing the female Q, who also had a child she may have not done the best job raising

My unpopular Trek opinion is that TNG season seven is 80% trash episodes that each cater to the ego of one of the main cast over any plot or storytelling. There's maybe four truly great episodes in the season with the rest being far below average- many, like "Masks" being nonsensical attempts to...to what? Save money by limiting the extras and sets?

Worf is a TERRIBLE father. He only does what's easiest for himself in decisions regarding Alexander- shipping him off to Earth or wherever. Forcing him to be in several of TNG's very worst episodes. Not teaching him how to fight worth a damn.

Apparently there is a Mega Drive/Genesis Mini 2 and it has the usual collection of Genesis games, but also some Sega CD games, including Mansion of Hidden Souls, Night Trap, Shinning Force CD and a few others. First I ever heard of that console... I get tired of the same exact Genesis games being released all the time. First I heard about the CD games being rereleased. $90

Is there going to be more parts to this? I loved the game, but could never get out of the jungle stage. I just admired the graphics and that you could play both as a human or as a raptor, who I believe the latter could eat smaller dinos, people and dead carcasses for health.

I would argue that even in peace times, countries, and very likely planets, build their defences and look for ways to protect themselves- even against allies. Spies, election interference, new weapon systems etc get discovered all the time. Embarrass the other side, remind them that we’re watching, and build our own countermeasures. Even with Vulcans, can there be any certainty of an eternal peace?

I kind of lost respect for Odo on this one.
