I think Dr Evil programmed a lot of those Genesis games, given his obsession with liquid hot magma! Read the last half of that sentence in Dr Evil's voice for full effect! Great video as always!
Cruel and unusual punishment? But this game is entertaining, so what that there are no gorilla in The Lion King movie but that what make it fun in a video game.
Not sure you have ever played Fallout New Vegas, but besides it being quite the brilliant, engrossing game and fun experience. It has several Star Trek actors- William Sadler - Section 31 Luther Sloan DS9 René Auberjonois - Odo DS9 Michael Dorn - Worf and probably more. Both William and René feature prominently.
I'd argue that Ecco is easier because you get endless lives. You might go crazy trying to beat a level, but as long as you got the time and determination, you can keep trying until you beat it. Die too many times in the Lion King and you have to start over again.
The Genesis and even SNES had some really changing games, at least they were when I was younger. Earth Worm Jim comes to mind. Blackthorne. Another World. Flash Back. Several more, but the names escape me. The issue is with Disney games, you'd assume they'd be a tad bit easier for a younger audience. But no. 😅
Never could beat the first boss of Earthworm Jim. Vectorman I still have not got all that far in. Robocop Vs Terminator. Jurassic Park. The list could go on, if I could remember them all 😅

This game should constitute as "cruel and unusual" punishment 😅
I mean, you're not wrong.

@@JanelleWazno he is wrong, sure there are no gorilla in The Lion King movie but that's what make it fun in the video game.
@@VictorGonzalez-xs9oc who cares about gorillas? The joke is about the game's punishing difficulty

Be Prepared!… to lose a lot of lives. The Lion King, Ecco the Dolphin, Games were on another level back then.

@@JanelleWaz Cats and dolphins, The grim reaper has to be thinking “Not you again!”

"this game was meant for CHILDREN"
we were built different then
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play the scary hard dolphin game. 😆
@@JanelleWazforget it, play other games that wasn't so scary.

Hey kid, does your controller work TOO well? Why not try the lion king. You'll break it in frustration in no time!
Accurate.
That joke doesn't make sense, besides I know how to win the Lion King video game.
