I would just like to say that I appreciate the speed at which you deliver your lines. You are one of the few RUclipsrs that I don't feel the need to crank up the playback speed
What's funny is that I always felt like I talk too quickly so I've been trying to ease back a little bit. My videos are long enough as it is: if I talked any slower, 0_0
I love how they grew a spine and committed to having Kira actually kill that guy. That's one thing that makes DS9 the best one. They let the characters do horrible things.
Out of all the characters that Star Trek DS9 had to offer, Odo was easily my favorite. A sly but strict shapeshifter that was never afraid to stand up for what he believed in, even when his morals were tested. It's no wonder Kira was attracted to him what with her being a former freedom fighter. It was always nice to see them together. As well as interesting to see where their relationship would go.
I don't think that Cardassian neck trick could be shown on a family friendly channel.... I do remember seeing this episode, but it's been YEARS. I remember liking it though. A different Star Trek story than we normally get, which is refreshing.
Eh, I don't think she really thought Odo forgot her. She was just making a comment to disguise her intentions. The whole talk with her and Quark was full of that sort of speech.
I'm not a *super* big fan of Things Past, but I wasn't a super big fan of Necessary Evil either and developed an appreciation for it. I wouldn't write off a Things Past video.
@@JanelleWaz per the fan pages anyway. They really did a number on her make up. I think if she has her hair down and is more playful, maybe you can see it in her eyes.

I mean, I watch at 1.75 anyway 😂

beautiful thumbnail
Which one are you seeing: the green-ish one or the other one? Because I tried out RUclips's thumbnail test, and I've seen both come up.
And also, thanks!
The greenish blue one. And congrats on hitting 2k subs!
You adapt your style to the more serious DS9 very well, hope you do more!
I think Odo does a Colombo "just one more thing" in this episode 😂
Hardly suprising the episode's writer had worked on Colombo.

I think making a video about this episode really gave me an appreciation for it. It's pretty well acted and paced.
I love Kira with long hair 🥰
Kira looks good with both long and short hair (though not every short haircut of hers lands for me). I always like seeing her with long hair, though.
I see DS9 I instantly Like, comment, and subscribe.
Welcome aboard!
Alternate title: Terok Noir
I like it!

18:35 Hopefully you do Things Past, as well. Which apparently, LeVar Burton directed.

Great thumbnail 🤣
You could probably do a whole unsolved mysteries series on background characters...
15:52 Aaaaagghhhhhhh!!! Aaaaagghhhhhhh!!! Aaaaagghhhhhhh!!!
Katherine Moffat (the well off Bajoran woman) also played in The Game on TNG
That was her?! I never noticed that!

"you did a Cardassian neck trick that brought the house down" so did my ex 😞
I kind of lost respect for Odo on this one.
For me, it was the Dominion Occupation Arc in Season 6 where I started to lose respect for Odo. I *really* didn't like his actions in that arc.
@@JanelleWaz I kind of understood it was he was trying to connect with his people. I mean his actions were very similar to how orphans act.
