Yes thank you for this information I was eating the pod to .lol
In our home during the finctions it's must to take off shoes. But not mandatory to remove socks. We use deodorant spray to get rid of bad smell coming from those shoes or socks.
Do you think a knee length straight waist black background with many different colors embroidery flowers is appropriate to dress for a considered formal wedding?
Love your wine red dress! So beautiful!
'You don't eat the pods'.. I think we could have guessed that.
Heidi, you're the best. I'm so glad after the hours of intro (just kidding, your intro was great) your method is exactly how I do it. It drives me crazy when everyone sucks on the pods at restaurants and I instruct everyone how to do it right so I don't have to look at a bowl of discarded slobbery pea pods for the rest of the meal but no one will listen! I'm going to show your video as mandatory viewing before we order from now on!
Thank you for these videos. I am autistic and it helps me a lot to have instructions for all these things, big and small.
What a great conversation, I will be sharing it with people in my organization.
I'm left-handed, so I've always used the Continental method.
Thanks for sharing good tastes. The snack looks very appetizing.
One day whenever I own a gigantic home like this, I will host afternoon tea, wine tasting, holiday get together. As a host, I will make sure to ask guests if there are any allergies to avoid any medical issues. I will make sure to hold my utensils properly, European or American way. If I serve cheese, to cut it properly and include the heart in each slice. When pouring wine, know how to pop the cork with slight twist from the bottle until it hiss with a small pop. Pour it from the right side of the guest and remember to pour 6oz then twist the bottle so it does not drip.. Once everything is all and done, remember to send a hand written “Thank you” note to the guests for attending. I will make sure to sit up straight and when I walk down the stairs to walk slowly. Does all this sound like tips from all your videos? LOL …I’m your Biggest Fan. Thanks Ms. Heidi for all your teachings..
These are all really great points. It’s something I’m becoming more conscious of. I’m going to a friend’s apartment in a couple of weeks and I already am planning to take my shoes off at the entrance. I’ll probably be barefoot because I definitely don’t wear socks in the summer 😂
Well, thank you for watching, and you are already ahead of the game! Just thinking about this, sets you apart. Thank you very much for being so conscientious and thoughtful about your friend’s home. Ask them if they’d like to remove your shoes; you can easily leave your shoes at the door. One of closest friends would never ask us to leave our shoes at the door, however, as a very gentle hint, she has a basket of slippers at the door. One day, I actually glanced at the basket of slippers and took the hint lol. Sometimes, we need to look around, read the room, and act accordingly. We all just want to be respectful. It’s such a privilege to be in someone else’s home, their intimate space, and we just want to make sure we’re on our best behavior. Please let me know how it goes, I’m sure you’re going to be the perfect guest!💕💕💕👠👠
Ms. Heidi, if I have you as a boss, oh my goodness, I would work for free. 😊
Ahhhhh, Jupe, you warm my heart!!💕💕💕
My sister thinks I should wear hats as she likes them, but then makes fun of my choices. She’s lives on the east coast and I’m from the Midwest.
Hello! Well, wear the hats that you like! I’m from the Midwest, and I love wearing berets. I’ve worn beret since I was a little girl, and I still wear them! Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks, even your family members, you do you -wear hats, appropriately, And strut your stuff!!🧢👒🎩🎓 you sound awesome! Thank you so much for watching and leaving this comment💕💕

I love handwritten notes.... I wish we go back to the way life used to be. Classic and classy. You are a great dresser by the way. Thank you!
You sweet thing!!💕💕💕💕
Ms. Heidi. Here's to you, Sante' !, Ahhhh, so good.
I thought red was a no no
Thanks for watching! And my opinion, red is fine, especially for an evening wedding, and something formal. Or at least semi formal! Long gone, Reed was considered maybe somewhat racing. I think we’ve moved past those days! You can wear anything but white as far as I’m concerned 💕💕💕💃
Thank Youuuu!
My pleasure!💕
Thank you for education us! I have been looking for this type of information as I didn't grow up in the States. I assume that this formula would also work when I introduce my own family to my house guest. Right?
Hello, thank you so much for watching! I’m so glad I could be helpful. Yes this formula works well and nearly any situation. Get in the habit of doing this, and you’ll never make a misstep when introducing people.💕💕
I cut my spaghetti with the side of my fork, then scoop it up. Is it blasphemy? Yes. But it is superior if you value efficiency over tradition and fun. Do people who use knives twirl before cutting? Or do they cut, then scoop? If the latter, why use the knife at all? That's my controversial method.
The bottom line is, you do you! The most important part of etiquette is being a kind, caring, and respectful person no matter how you eat your spaghetti💕
I have brought movie night treats in a basket, especially if the new neighbors have children. Great ideas in this basket! I love you the idea of a small plant!
Thank you so much for watching and I love your idea about movie night! You sound like a marvelous neighbor!💕💕
Is that blue and white not too much white?
Hello! Yes, something blue and white sounds great. It’s just a pure white is really in poor taste, it’s all about being respectful. Thanks for watching! Love your comment.💕💕
I bought a gold dress but decided to return it, due to it being an older bride and just a reception. I have no idea what she'll wear and many older brides opt out of pure white/ivory
Hello! Thank you so much for watching terrific comment! Today’s brides can really wear what they are comfortable in! And forguests,, a lot depends on the time of day, and the level of formality, or informality of the wedding festivities.💕💕
Btw i just discovered your channel and can't wait to binge your videos! We need more people like you on RUclips.
Hello! God, love you! You absolutely made my day! Thank you so much and please be so kind as to leave me some comments. I’d love to hear what you think about some of the other videos! Thank you!💕💕💕
What do restaurants serve bread? Yeah, they don't anymore 😭 and its depressing.
I prefer to eat with my hands like Indians
Respect common sense
Well said!💕
I would be super hungry would require discipline to eat peace by peace
If it's a casual affair I will ask. But if you're invited to a semi-formal dinner at someone's house no one is taking their shoes off. And if you ask someone to take their shoes off. Most of the Americans are going to be insulted because they dressed up to look nice at your party.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching and I appreciate your comments! I agree, I would hate to take off my fancy shoes at a fancy dinner, but I have been asked to do that in certain situations. So, you just never really know, but just be respectful of the host’s wishes.💕💕💕👠
Great video I’d like to discuss discuss in depth
Hello! Thank you so much for watching and anytime. I’d love to discuss this further! It’s very near and dear to me because it’s all about being respectful.💕💕💕
Do you seat the guest at the table with the charcuterie board?
Hello! Thank you so much for watching! This is a great question, however, generally speaking, charcuterie boards are more for a cocktail hour, or hors d’oeuvres and drinks, I would not generally have people seated around a table with one. However, if someone would like a seat, that’s just fine too. This is supposed to be more of an informal Situation, everyone helping themselves when they like.💕💕💕💕
Hello, Heidi Can you wear 7 cm or 2.75 inch heels with cocktail attire? Kind regards, Auden
Hello! Fantastic question! And thank you for watching! You can wear any size heel you would like to wear for cocktail attire. It does not have to be super high, and it can be something that’s comfortable, perhaps more like a kitten heel. Truly, it’s what is comfortable to you and coordinates with your outfit.👠💕💕💕🍸
Some of this was not obvious to me and I will continue to watch more presentations like this one. I do have questions.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching, and I’m sorry for your loss, if that was the reason for watching. Yes, I’m here for you, I’d like to answer any questions you may have, I can certainly offer my opinion. Thank you and best wishes for a peaceful day.💕💕💕
I had high tea in Victoria
It’s always such a treat to enjoy a proper afternoon tea. I know there’s some beautiful ones in Victoria! Lucky you!💕💕💕☕️🫖
if you don't respect other party, they will not respect you, have some damn manner
This lady lost all credibility when she swalled that shit whole
Thank you so much for this information, I have never heard of cheese having a heart. Love cheeses and now I can serve them properly. Love your videos.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching, and yes, isn’t it? Cool to learn cheeses have hearts!, Who knew?! Once you know this, it’s hard to serve cheese any other way! Every now and then when you serve cheese properly, one of your guests will know about the etiquette and it’s so fun when you can connect over that!💕💕💕🧀🧀❤️
Mam when we can drink this soup.. Before food or after food?
Do you always say “excuse me” after swallowing each mouthful?
This woman is lying
NO you are doing it wrong you don't just plunge the fork in your pasta and twirl, you get a few strands with the fork then twirl on the side of the plate, if you do it your way you end up with too much pasta on that fork. The reason we don't use bowls is because bowls are for soup, not for pasta, the pasta in a bowl will end up continuing the cooking process with the heat and vapor of the pasta, and it has to be al dente.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching! Very good point! However that’s what I was attempting to do -just pull a strand or two from the side and twirl that. I don’t use pasta bowls, but I use very large coupes, which do let the heat dissipate. Because, of course we want our pasta to be al dente. Thank you so much for watching. I appreciate your comment.💕🍝
@@HeidiDulebohn1 I hope I didn't seem rude, but as an Italian that lives in Rome Italy, we can't accept many videos that show eating spaghetti with a spoon and fork. You did a pretty good job, just take a few strands from the side of the pasta, we only cut spaghetti for very small children that are learning to eat on their own. I find it odd that Americans learn how to use chop sticks for Asian food but can't twirl spaghetti on a fork. 🤣
Great tips!!! It is sometime s difficult to know what to choose for a wedding...
Thank you!💕💕
Amazing tips! Thank you so much. ❤
Thank you so much for watching!💕💕
Thank you so much for this video! You are the only one I have found that addresses the conflicting "crease towards vs. crease away" placement. Including the brief history was also a wonderful touch. I look forward to enjoying more from you.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching and I love your comment! Please be so kind as to watch some other videos and let me know what you think! I love knowing the history, and I try very hard to not go overboard with the history, but it’s so fascinating!💕💕💕
No social etiquette from a First Lady! Probably she just wanna show to all of us that she's running the country! What an embarrassment!
Wait people can share ice cream? Lol. Lovely video
Thank you Heidi for taking the time to teach me proper dining etiquette. I love all the history and stories you share. It’s fascinating! I’m excited to go out for dinner now and practice the art of dining. 😊
Hello! Oh fantastic! I’m so happy I could help, and you helped me, your comments made my day!!💕💕💕
