Thank you for this illustration. I come from a less fortunate background and I so appreciate these videos of etiquette, they help set the expectation and bring ease to the moment. ❤
Hello! Thank you for such a lovely comment! And thank you for watching! I made these videos, to exactly, your point. Not everyone was lucky enough to grow up with an etiquette education. In fact, many don’t have any etiquette training whatsoever. So I tried to make it my mission to bring etiquette to everyone! Strongly believe everyone should have access to credible, and reasonable etiquette information. I can take all the boxes, I have all the credentials to present these videos, but my heart is in it to help. I would be really honored if you would watch some of my other videos and let me know what you think. There’s so many different videos regarding food, dress, business etiquette, and many other areas of etiquette. Etiquette is a vast subject. At its core, etiquette is about being a kind, respectful, and caring person, and that sounds just like you!💕💕💕
Hello! Thank you! Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave me such a great comment! Have you ever had one of those days you’re just a little bit off, and then you read something really nice it just perks your day ride up, well, that’s your comment! Thank you for the boost! I’d be thrilled if you would be so kind as to subscribe to my channel, and help me spread the word! Thank you ,kind soul, you made my day! Warm regards, Heidi 💕🫖
You can do it! Thank you for watching and I love this comment! First of all, how lovely of you to host your daughters, bridal shower! And secondly, how extra special that you’re preparing the food, or getting the table ready! Regardless, hosting a bridal shower is a big commitment! Make it your own; follow tradition, or not, it’s up to you, as the host. Remember, the most important important thing is for everyone to have a good time, to feel special and welcomed, and for everyone to celebrate your daughter’s upcoming nuptials. I would love it if you would be so kind to report back into me and let me know how it all went! I’ve done some videos about bridal showers, specifically about a bridal afternoon tea, and I’d love to hear your thoughts. Link below. Best of luck I know it will be a memorable affair! Warm regards, Heidi 💕💕💕 ruclips.net/video/irKyHmsIEdk/видео.htmlsi=84ucU53HeJmI25R0
Hello sweet girl! Go for it! You really don’t need anything special to host an Afternoon Tea. Start with what you have, invite a few lucky guests, and have fun. Afternoon Tea is meant to be informal and fun. The video offers the basic “rules” -do that, or a variation, make it your own. Please let me know how it goes! You can do it!💕💕💕🫖🫖
You can easily make clotted cream if you buy low temperature pasteurized heavy cream (typically found at a specialty store or directly from a dairy). It takes a while but it’s not hard - and very delicious!!
Hello Trentino! Well, reading your lovely comment has certainly made my day! Thank you very much, and I hope you actually do that! We have so many videos posted.-I would love for you to watch them, subscribe, and please let me know what you think about some of the other videos we have posted. And also, please be aware we’re posting new videos all the time. Thank you, and sending very best wishes for a lovely day! Warm regards, Heidi.💕💕🫖
Hello Megz! It’s so lovely to hear from you! Thanks 1 million for watching and leaving such a encouraging comment! I had a lot of fun creating this video and hosting the afternoon tea. As a matter of fact, I am just filming a video about hosting a dinner party, this one happens to be a casual dinner, but the five easy steps to create the perfect dinner party are the same whether it’s a formal affair or a casual affair. Please keep tuning in that video should be out soon. Thank you for watching, I always appreciate your time and look forward to reading your comments! Sending you very best wishes for a really fabulous day! Warmest regards, Heidi💕💕🍽️🫖
I think you’re wonderful at details and I thank you have a question. I am having 21 ladies at my home for an afternoon tea. We are celebrating a engagement party, so I thought that would be fun because the young lady loves tea. Can you give me a little clue as to how many sandwiches should I prepare? I was thinking three so that is three per person? And a scone for each lady and then I was planning on three different desserts. After you mentioned about some women that may not want to be too caffeinated. I thought about getting a fruit tea to put in some tea pots. Any ideas you can give me to help me along with this I would appreciate it. Thank you so much.❤
Hello Emma! I’m so excited for your afternoon tea! It sounds to me like you have a great plan! I think three different kinds of sandwiches is perfect, be sure one is vegetarian, just in case. When you extended your invitation, and everyone was so excited, I’m sure to have received it, I hope you asked if there were any dietary restrictions, limitations, or preferences. I did an afternoon tea and the day before the tea, one of my guest texted me that she was gluten-free. I had to change the entire menu, I bought gluten-free flour to make a new set of scones, gluten-free bread, and everything else. It is my philosophy that I never single anyone out, however, I did make sandwiches with gluten bread, so people had a choice. I think thinking about three sandwiches per person is probably OK, however, I think hosts, should entertain in abundance, so I would have sandwiches prepared, you can always replenish if you need to, it’s awful to not having enough. The same goes for the scones, I would have one per guest, and maybe a couple extra just in case someone wants to have another. Yes, always offer a decaffeinated alternative. Yes a fruit tea is a good way to go, although Pierce will say fruit teas are really not teas, but that’s another discussion lol. Or you can just go with a decaffeinated tea. But, almost every tea hosted there has been at least one person who request caffeine free tea. I’m so excited to hear how this goes, please you must get back to me and let me know how much fun you had and how much your guest appreciate the effort you are! Sending you very best wishes for a lovely event! Heidi💕💕💕🫖🫖🫖
