    Just watched this from start to end! What an amazing video from the production, the teaware aesthetics and your nature made this enjoyable enough to sit back and consume. I have only been to afternoon tea once at a hotel years ago it was a delight and I would love to go again. Keep them coming!

    Lovely video. Just a small point when putting the jam and cream on the scone the scone should be left on the plate while applying cream and jam not held mid air. Beautiful crockery. ❤

    So happy you made this. Many people are confused about Afternoon tea vs "High tea" - just the opposite of what one would think; how to stir without clanging one's spoon, and the three tiers - what should be where and why. All about the palate. Rather than restricting, I think you've made this intimate event with friends even more enjoyable, the purpose of tea, after all.

      I got a call this morning from Helen at the Grand Galvez Hotel in Galveston, Texas. It was to confirm my 4:00 pm this Saturday, November 30 2024, for high tea. I think of it as afternoon tea myself. It will cost $45 which seems good. It's the day after my 61st birthday and my first ever time to go to afternoon tea so I'm watching videos like this.

    Lovely video in many ways. However, when seated at a low table it might be more refined not to cross one’s knees as this puts the knees at table level and very much in view of other guests.

    And what about the dress code? I am assuming that there will be limitations to what to wear, depending on locations, and what not to wear. Like to short skirt or dress, very open decolletage etc.

    • @nikitaamerie
      @nikitaamerie  19 дней назад

      Yes I do briefly touch on what to wear and what is not very acceptable.

  • @Englishroserebecca

    Sorry to sound picky but the scone shouldn’t have the cream and jam applied to it in mid air. The scone stays on the plate while you spread the jam and cream.

    I think once you order champagne with it, it is now called Royal Tea not Afternoon tea? I’m not sure!

    • @nikitaamerie
      @nikitaamerie  7 месяцев назад

      Correct, you would usually start with one glass and then they will bring out the proceeding hot tea once you are done but it’s not really a huge part or afternoon tea just the beginning.
