Just watched this from start to end! What an amazing video from the production, the teaware aesthetics and your nature made this enjoyable enough to sit back and consume. I have only been to afternoon tea once at a hotel years ago it was a delight and I would love to go again. Keep them coming!
Lovely video. Just a small point when putting the jam and cream on the scone the scone should be left on the plate while applying cream and jam not held mid air. Beautiful crockery. ❤
So happy you made this. Many people are confused about Afternoon tea vs "High tea" - just the opposite of what one would think; how to stir without clanging one's spoon, and the three tiers - what should be where and why. All about the palate. Rather than restricting, I think you've made this intimate event with friends even more enjoyable, the purpose of tea, after all.
I love your fortnum and mason teaware, I live in the united states and can't get that tear, but maybe when I visit england one day, that set is in on my wishlist ❤
Oh Ashley! I think that is such a great reason to visit the uk for some of its exclusive teaware. I’m oringinally from Australia and I couldn’t find many brands over there without a big hassle. It will be amazing when you get to see fortnum and mason for the first time. It’s a jaw dropping experience. ✨🌹
Thank you for sharing this amazing video , me and my husband are fun of having tea in a five star hotels and restaurant , anywhere in UK ,, I am glad I did what's on your video ... well done👍 cheers. 🥂
lol at the purse. I'll do that next time. ;D i was watching another video with an American. and nope, tea etiquette is best from a Brit who uses loose leaf tea! :)
Lovely video in many ways. However, when seated at a low table it might be more refined not to cross one’s knees as this puts the knees at table level and very much in view of other guests.
Sorry to sound picky but the scone shouldn’t have the cream and jam applied to it in mid air. The scone stays on the plate while you spread the jam and cream.
Correct, you would usually start with one glass and then they will bring out the proceeding hot tea once you are done but it’s not really a huge part or afternoon tea just the beginning.
Nice, but rather "sexist". Actually, I deplore the sexist junk and all WOKE silliness. But, if I made this nice video and only included men's attire...oh, my!!
Well from a perspective of a women this is what I can relate to however for a male you could also wear a blazer to afternoon tea with a shirt and trousers, hope that helps!
@@nikitaamerie Hi, and how very kind of you. I plan to take a really nice blazer. Not taking much on this trip, so a nice pair of jeans and nice shirt will have to do it. I think it will be fine, but it won't look as great as you!

Yes correct! That is the true eloquent way of handling a scone. I only just picked up on that very tip recently. Thanks for watching.

My pleasure, there’s so many places to have tea hope you have a good time!
SO LOVELY!
It's a very enjoyably video. Unfortunately, it's hard to find a decent loose tea leaves in US.
Thankyou! I had no idea that it was difficult, where do you usually shop for tea leaves? At markets, supermarkets, online?
@@nikitaamerie A good question, I usually looks for some small stores specializing in a food for specific regions, for example Iran.
@@kamertonaudiophileplayer847 My husband is Iranian. You can find lots of good tea in any Middle Eastern or "Mediterranean" store.
@@penelopepitstop762 Thanks for the tip.

As a female I have been collecting bags since I was 18 years old

I think once you order champagne with it, it is now called Royal Tea not Afternoon tea? I’m not sure!

Oh sorry I mentioned that before a few months ago I forgot I watched video before 😂😂
