Three EASY and Delicious Tea Sandwiches!

- Hello, friends! The ingredients I used for the sandwiches --- Coronation Chicken, Egg and Bacon, and Crab and Bell Pepper -- are listed below. I hope you enjoy this episode! #afternoontea
Coronation Chicken Sandwich
Ingredients for about 3 cups of filling:
2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded or finely chopped
1 tablespoon (or more, to taste) mango chutney
1 tablespoon (or more, if needed) mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sour cream
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
Brown bread, lightly buttered
Egg and Bacon Sandwich
Ingredients for about 3 cups of filling:
6 hard-cooked eggs
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
2 tablespoons minced shallot (or onion)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
5 slices cooked bacon, crumbled or finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Chive Cream Cheese Spread*
Pain de Mie (French sandwich bread), buttered
*Chive Cream Cheese Spread
Ingredients for about 2 cups; leftover spread can be used as a dip for crackers or crudite:
1 8-ounce block cream cheese, whipped
2 (or more) tablespoons finely-chopped fresh chives
A pinch of salt
Crab and Bell Pepper Sandwich
Ingredients for about 1 1/2 cups of filling:
Lump crab meat from a 4-ounce can, drained
2 tablespoons minced red bell pepper
1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
The grated zest of a lemon
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon (or more, to taste) Old Bay Seasoning
Thinly-sliced white sandwich bread, buttered

I studied all your tea time videos and finally had a tea for my daughter and 3 grandchildren. They LOVED it all. We had your chicken salad (horseradish), your cucumber(sliced the long way) with your cream cheese/fresh chive spread and your egg salad, eggs pushed through cookie cooling rack!
Also your marmalade loaf cake and your petite fours (lb.cake) .All a tremendous hit!! And I told them all about you too and your pets! You can see how much I enjoy you and your videos. Thank you so much Kevin! I wouldn’t have done it without you!

I love afternoon tea, maybe it’s because I’m English, maybe it’s because I love a convivial atmosphere and conversation and luxurious tidbits with a good cup of tea and a decent sandwich or cake - I don’t know but I love afternoon tea, especially Kevins❤

Hi kevin,Laura here,I lived in London for three years. When our son was born they brought me tea every afternoon. It was wonderful.they had a chef and you could order what you wanted for your meals and also for visitors it was so wonderful I almost didn't want to go home!😁

I enjoyed watching your video while having my Sunday morning coffee. As a person who loves chutney, I've never thought to incorporate it with mayonnaise/sour cream mixture. What a great idea! Lovely tea sandwiches on a fancy tiered serving peice. I still have a couple of those of my mom's, and a pretty new one that I purchased during covid, but haven't taken out of the box yet. I think that I should start having a once per month tea party, and serve these beautiful sandwiches that you have shown us how to make. Yum! This is giving me such pleasant memories of afternoon tea at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver. I really think sandwiches taste better when cut into tea sandwich shapes. Lovely tea. So nice you were able to harvest from your garden for the sandwiches. I made a Coronation chicken salad tea sandwich to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. Her Coronation chicken dish was not a salad but chicken with a sauce. I've heard she didn't even get a chance to try the meal. She was so busy that day.

🔥FYI🔥 Never sharpen knives over the counter where you are preparing food! Small metal shaving can fall, and get into the food. So, maybe sharpen over the sink? And always rinse the knife after sharpening! ☺️❤️
