You are a breath of fresh air in this world. News are so depressing but you bring up some peace and simplicity in the midst of that mess. Thank you from Napierville, Québec (15 min. from the border)
You are the epitome of gracious living. I adore you and your precious fur babies. I’ve often lamented what our world would be like if everyone had your sweet spirit. Keep your wonderful videos coming. They are such a bright spot in my day. Tell Avery, Binky, and Goldy I love them. 💜
Keep on keeping on....I am a caregiver for a parent and cared for another one some time. ago for years.....Kevin Lee Jacobs keeps me going. I even think about Kevin when I am motivating myself to get going in the morning.
This is simply Mr. Rogers for adults with good taste. My favorite way to start my Sunday, or many days. Everything about these videos is calming, even the cleaning. Take care gentle soul, we love you, your beauty home, your precious fur babies, your camera person and unseen partner. ❤️
It is so inspiring and heart-warming to see someone care for and cherish an old house like you do. From your upkeep to your interiors that brings the architecture to life. So many with the means to buy a property like this guts it and modernizes it to look like a new build and it breaks my heart. I am so glad this house is in proper hands!
Lizeth’s camera work is just divine, and sweet little Avery clearly adores her. The two of you make a great team, I so enjoy your work! I missed seeing you try the freshly baked bread Kevin, it looked so delicious. Thank you for such a peaceful and beautiful video. 😊
I love how our furry kids love and are so interested in what is going on with their dad. Avery has a wonderful face. So sweet. Always love it when they are added to the video. 😊
When I open your video it shows on my screen that you are at 99.1 thousand viewers. I’m SO happy for you ! 💗💗 I remember when you had around 11 or 13 thousand . You have grown so fast this year!!!! We viewers who have found you are so glad that we did . 🤗
Who says homemaking is just for women? You are a superlative role model for all those guys out there who grew up being told that's how it is, wishing it weren't so, and now it turns out it isn't at all the way they were led to believe, that they can fulfill their dreams after all... Thank you for this priceless contribution to the development of society!
It's mothers fault that they don't "take the bull by the horns" and make sure their male offspring know how to do household chores, which includes cooking, managing money, and a thousand other things.
@@patsywilliams5570 I'm not blaming anyone here. Many men grow up in families where they are explicitly taught that homemaking is for women only, so that their mothers would most likely refuse to teach them homemaking skills even if they begged to be taught. I don't agree with this point of view, but we have to acknowledge that their mothers genuinely believe they are doing the right thing by raising their sons in this particular way.
Oh! Oh! Kevin, I wrote you a long message a few hours ago and I'm sorry but forgot to mention how much I so enjoy seeing Avery, Binky and Goldie in more of your episodes than they used to be in. You must have had many, many messages about how much they love seeing them more often. I'm one of several of those messages! Your pets are sweet, calm, beautiful and it's so obvious that you love them as much as they love you and they live in a loving, calm, kind, caring home. And that close-up of Avery's face shows just how beautiful she is. Loved it! 🥰 Also love watching you both on your walks. Kevin, you are aware you are putting some of us to shame. I clean my 819 sq ft condo once a week, laundry one a week, bed linens once a week and I’m finished.😂😢 I’m 84, mother, grandmother and as of this past Wednesday, a great grandma. I go to gym twice a week and do a waterway walk twice a week. I read a great deal and enjoy tea time and my IPad. Try to exercise my mind every day. Those doors are a treasure. You make the cleaning look easy and I know it is not. But, the method is valuable to know. And, the bread? Looks very possible.
I am making this bread this weekend! Kevin’s recipes never fail me! Over the past few months I got 30 friends to subscribe! We are so happy having your channel in our lives. Goldie is just adorbs!
Hey Kevin, hello from Wales UK. Thank you so much for your vlogs. The world is so depressing lately, no good news. Your style and delivery make life a lot easier for many viewers, thank you for that. Keep up the good work 👍
So far I bought: the cloth (Amazon), the "flat" egg beater (Amazon), the lemon zester, the canning funnel, the Wilton bakers blade and many more. The cooling rack is coming in soon 🤗🤩. Looooooveeeee your videos, they are so different in all the right ways. Thank you Kevin and your wonderful assistant Lizeth who is doing a great Job. Kevin you are my go-to for relaxation and great cooking and I love when you take us on a trip to Berry farm , Tierra farm or whatever farm. I’m exhausted just watching this. I don’t know how you keep up with the house, the yard, the shopping and food prep and all of the things we never see. Especially with a beautiful historic home which had multiple servants to do all of the things you do.
As always, there is so much one could unpack from your video. True story: I stayed overnight in a century home near Kingston Ontario a great many years ago, and the (by then) painted millwork around the opening between the parlour and dining room was very wide... and had a moulding at its center, all the way around. So, I said to my friends I thought there were pocket doors inside. We took a knife and cut the painted surface on both sides of the trim and took it off. There were doors inside. They lived in that house for I don't know how long, and never even thought of the possibility. That all happened in the morning when we were a little hung over... but we celebrated with champagne and orange juice... and I will never forget that day. Imagine the interior of Clover Hill with its originally stained millwork. Wow... what a sight that would have been. With regard to your meal, I have made Chicken Piccata I don't know how many times... and I love capers to no end. A pleasure to be in your home once again... as always.
I went to university at Queen's University. I graduated in 2014! I grew up outside of Toronto. I enjoy original older homes or back splits like mine. I enjoy capers too!
Hi Kevin, I really enjoy your videos. I also appreciate your wonderful videographer, Lizet. I love it when she captures the cats and Avery on the stairs. Your ginger cat has a beautiful coat of fur. The babies all look so happy and healthy.
Kevin, I told my husband about you and how much you inspire me. I feel like you are family, which I have none to speak of. I love all the great things you do, from cooking, chores, planning, creating, keeping busy………it helps me mentally forget my physical problems for a while. That china is gorgeous, and your decorating..I love. I am a mixed media artist..and I really appreciate people who are creative, and productive…thanks for enriching my days……. I feel like you are my cosmic twin! Can’t wait to watch the chicken picatta…….making the brocolli soup tomorrow…….
Hi KLJ 😀. Thank you so much for yet another PHENOMENAL episode! Also, BIG THANKS and APPLAUSE to Lizette, your AMAZING videographer! Love each and every show! Big fans in Canada 🇨🇦
The door looks amazing. You are a fervent caretaker of your historic home! Bless you. You might want to try placing your raised bread dough on to a sheet of parchment just before baking. It makes for easy and safe transfer of the dough in and out of the blasting hot pan…works like a charm. Have a nice weekend 😊
Wax on , wax off .. Love your videos! It’s just such a shame that so few people appreciate gracious living and entertaining. I have all kinds of beautiful glassware and China and so few people to invite over who can feel comfortable using them . .
Yellow lemon slices go well with Yellow Alstromeria in the kitchen. I think you will sleep well after that hard day of work. From sunny Cape Town. South Africa
My brother loves decorating and gardening . So do I. My home is old fashioned and has all oak woodwork. My brothers name is Kevin and he turned part his home into a bed and breakfast.💜
Oh my goodnes! This is the first time I've watched your videos and I really like you❤ If Martha Stewart and Mr. Rogers had had a baby it would be you!!! What a peaceful beautiful life.
God bless your energy! At 53 I could never clean that big house anymore. When I was a teenager the neighbors called me the “White Tornado” like the old Ajax commercial.I was always cleaning my parent’s house.lol
Kevin what a wonderful way to spend a Friday evening. Love seeing you and the babies. Question do you ever make sour dough bread? I love both breads and a good beer bread is always welcome. I kept thinking what a long day with the doors but they are so beautiful when shined up. Have a great weekend and let us know how the bathroom garden is coming along....can't wait to see it in bloom. Nite
Beautiful wall doors. You take care of your beautiful Victorian home so well. I like how you pace your household tasks and cooking, not trying to do everything in the same day. I enjoyed the video where you cleaned the pantry. Your pantry is fabulous. I wish I had one that size. :) Where did you purchase your plastic wrap dispenser and plastic refill or do they come together? I have never seen one so large. I would like to purchase one myself that size. Your meal looks so delicious. Thank you for sharing your day!
Someone mentioned gracious living. That really sums up your style and home. I love everything you do. Its all such a touch of class in an ordinary day. Thank you for inspiring me to make more effort to bring that into my life. I live alone at 73 , so its so easy to eat at the kitchen counter and not make the effort to set a pretty setting. I just got out my blue and white dinner and salad plate... and one beautiful wine glass, with a cloth napkin. I need to keep these out and treat myself like company.
Omg you’re and answer to prayer. I’ve been struggling with my NYC apartment for 2yrs and praying for help to improve it. You are giving me the inspiration to work on making it nice. Thank you!
I was admiring your pocket door escutcheons. Super nice. After retirement and to keep active my husband decided to do part time gardening. On an old area of land near to where we live he found an escutcheon. Given its decorative etchings I’m guessing it’s English medieval. Wow an exciting find. It’s now in my display cabinet for all to see. However, as the years gather up quickly, I think it’s time I did a list of what all the bits and bobs I have actually mean, who they may have belonged to, where they originated and who would appreciate them after I am gone. Thank you for your gentle channel. It’s nice to relax and enjoy your home making efforts. UK
That Swedish dough whisk thing-y works great. I'll be shopping for one of those. Your pocket doors looked glorious before you started the hard work to polish them and even more glorious afterwards. You were a busy bee in this video. You certainly earned your lucious chicken piccata dinner. I noticed the forsythia branches that you forced are blooming beautifully. Another wonderful video. Thank you, Kevin!
Forget the superbowl, I would much rather watch you! You are simply a pleasure and a delight to watch. Your elegance, grace, and tranquility is intoxicating.
Ordered your book . Can't wait until i receive it. You are so calming. I am a fairly new fan. I binge watch your older videos. So love your videos as i love your calming and wonderful personality. You are so elegant and so love your house etc. You make every meal special
I am a new fan as well, and I have never been so motivated to do things, and do them with beautiful piano music playing! Kevin is such a gem!!!! Now I will order his cook book!!
I was trying to have a lazy Sunday, but now you’ve got me baking beer bread. 😂 Everything is beautiful, peaceful, and delicious, in your videos. And I appreciate that, in this wild world of ours. Blessings, Kevin!
Avery is an adorable "helper". My dogs were always frightened of the vacuum. I need to follow your lead for two 90 year old end tables that I have. I see now that they need cleaning, not refinishing! I can smell that beautiful loaf of bread. Thank you, Kevin!
Hello Kevin, I made my husband and I a small steak with mushrooms in a skillet, then I made gravy the way your video shows. First time in my life (78 years) I have made delicious gravy that turned out. I chopped up some red potatoes, onions, bell pepper and one jalapeño pepper and cooked in oven and served with steak gravy and mushrooms. It turned out pretty good. Thank you for your wonderful recipes, I am beginning in my winter of life to learn cooking and enjoying it. I wanted to ask you about the sheet clothing detergent, I was concerned it would not get my clothes clean. I see you are happy to use it, so I may give it a try. Thank you again for your helpful and wonderful videos.
I, unfortunately, had to watch your amazing, decadent, Rustic Chicken/Cauliflower dinner...AND the PINK champagne Cake.....episode, few days late. Had BIG chores to do, myself!🥺 AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, HAD to get over to our -(almost-like) TIERRA MARKET to get all the quality ingredients I will need to make EVERYTHING you made on this episode! I HAVE TO!! (My taste buds insist on it!)😅 But we here, must buy ALL beers from a big retail beer store.😢 I only wish that TIERA MARKET'S would start shipping to CANADA!! (Me, and 1,000's of Canadians go really CRAZY for their kind of all-Nat ural/home grown- herbs-and- ALL-their products!) Their business would really THRIVE in Canada). Thanks, Kevin, for such extra hard work on those doors! You did a beautiful job on them! I'm sure they look like they did, new, 200 years ago! See you later today (Feb 11th). 💞 Cheers! 💞 Judy 🇨🇦 Ontario.
You are lucky to be able to light your fire. Chimneys have been forbidden in Santiago for years now because of air pollution, which is understandable, but I do love the cozy atmosphere!
My goodness, we had a busy day with you today! Congratulations on your 98,000 viewers! Your channel has just gotten better and better! Congrats to Lizbeth, too!❤
Thank you again for your videos! Having once lived in an antique home with original pocket doors, I realized not building them into a new build was a huge mistake! They’re such a treasure and it’s so great your house has such loving caretakers.
I just found you. Enjoyed the entire show. At 74 im developing all my home sweet habits again. Love that bread. And the flow of home days is just so fantastic. I might have to actually come back to this video especially to make the bread recipe. It is so good looking!
Hi Kevin … wow you worked hard !! I love going to the Berry Farm with you and the bread and chicken dish look great ! Thankx for sharing congrats on nearing 100,000 subscribers you deserve it ❤🇬🇧👋😍
I discovered your channel this week and I've already become your fan, I love the delicacy in everything you do, my granddaughter Isadora runs to me when I'm watching your video, she loves you and thinks you're cute, you've brought more lightness to my life, thank you, A big hug from you these fans here from the city of Santos in Brazil, lots of health and happiness to you and your husband❤️💐❤️💐
Dear Kevin. Love your food and love your flowers Where I live in Kwa Zulu Natal Durban South Africa it is very humid and very hot in Summer and medium warm in winter - maybe just a light cardigan. We eat outside mostly and barbecue - we have lots of tropical fruit and lovely vegetables . There is a huge Indian community population so we have available so many fresh and dried spices and many Indian restaurants and we eat varieties of curries . So, I love the change you present us with - love your chicken recipes and absolutely adore your flowers and beautiful bone china teacups and home brewed tea. Here , people mostly drink out of mugs, which I find gauche !!! Nothing lovelier and more refined than taking tea in a civilised way ??? I think people are generally too rushed to be bothered !! Thank you for sharing and caring 🌹
What a hard working and organized gentleman you are, Kevin! You accomplished so very much in just one day! The pocket doors are gleaming … great job on treating them to such a thorough cleaning! Nothing to say about the delicious bread and dinner you prepared … I’m so impressed with your work ethic and energy level! Thank you for a most pleasant and inspiring video upload!
Thank You Kevin, I love pocket doors! I love chicken Piccata! and of course, I love your videos. Thank You so much! And thank you for keeping your mistakes in your videos like today when you forgot to add the oil to the dough. You reminded us that even the best make mistakes and showed us how to deal with it graciously. Looking forward to your next video. Chin Chin

Quietly enjoying the good things in life; your videos are a refuge. Thank you from Vancouver BC, Canada.
You are an amazing man and an inspiration!
Wax on , wax off .. Love your videos! It’s just such a shame that so few people appreciate gracious living and entertaining. I have all kinds of beautiful glassware and China and so few people to invite over who can feel comfortable using them . .
Avery Is Such A Sweet Dog❤And Your Cats Are Loving & Playful Too❤Thanks For Sharing NC😊
kevin did you forget your bread for dinner? beautiful home great video
I am so glad to have discovered your channel! You are everything I need in my life right now! Chill out, tune out and enjoy Grace and elegance!
Yellow lemon slices go well with Yellow Alstromeria in the kitchen. I think you will sleep well after that hard day of work. From sunny Cape Town. South Africa
Love your show!
Kevin you are a royal Englishman at heart with an American accent! Love yr videos ❤😊
You are amazing and very calm.
God bless your energy! At 53 I could never clean that big house anymore. When I was a teenager the neighbors called me the “White Tornado” like the old Ajax commercial.I was always cleaning my parent’s house.lol
I’m going to party 🎉 🎈 🎊 for you when you hit 100,000. 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Love you, Mr. Kevin. So pleasant and well mannered.
Kevin really gave us the Dr. Phil "Thank you...for that." @0:36 We love you Kevin!!
Avery is such a good helper!
Nite
Avery is so adorable…….peaceful and calming video.😊
I love your energy and enjoy your recepies Kevin ❤
Yay, it’s Kevin! I’m so happy😊
Avery and Goldie are such good little helpers 😁💗😁
Omg you’re and answer to prayer. I’ve been struggling with my NYC apartment for 2yrs and praying for help to improve it. You are giving me the inspiration to work on making it nice. Thank you!
You make a great job with the giant beautiful door.
Thank Kevin's n .your peace is increíble you are a adorable Person.
Thank you, Kevin!
and that was only one side of your gorgeous pocket doors !
I can’t wait to make your same dinner with my grandson Gavin. Thank you so much Kevin.😉
I don’t feel cozy until I come home from this insane world and watch 1-2 of your videos
@@staceys1870 isn't he just and he really makes me calm in addition to all he does. And how he includes us. Nobody ever does that. He is truly a gem
I was trying to have a lazy Sunday, but now you’ve got me baking beer bread. 😂 Everything is beautiful, peaceful, and delicious, in your videos. And I appreciate that, in this wild world of ours. Blessings, Kevin!
The hardware on the gorgeous pocket doors are exquisite.
Avery is an adorable "helper". My dogs were always frightened of the vacuum. I need to follow your lead for two 90 year old end tables that I have. I see now that they need cleaning, not refinishing! I can smell that beautiful loaf of bread. Thank you, Kevin!
I enjoyed your sheet pan meals especially the easy cleanup. No pots and pans to wash after the meal is over.
Had BIG chores to do, myself!🥺
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, HAD to get over to our -(almost-like) TIERRA MARKET to get all the quality ingredients I will need to make EVERYTHING you made on this episode! I HAVE TO!!
(My taste buds insist on it!)😅
But we here, must buy ALL beers from a big retail beer store.😢
I only wish that TIERA MARKET'S would start shipping to CANADA!!
(Me, and 1,000's of Canadians go really CRAZY for their kind of all-Nat ural/home grown- herbs-and- ALL-their products!)
Their business would really THRIVE in Canada).
Thanks, Kevin, for such extra hard work on those doors! You did a beautiful job on them! I'm sure they look like they did, new, 200 years ago!
See you later today (Feb 11th).
💞
Cheers! 💞

Your home is lovely; thanks for sharing. Your cat & dog are so adorable. Watching from Lancaster county, Pa.
Thankx for sharing congrats on nearing 100,000 subscribers you deserve it ❤🇬🇧👋😍
You are inspiring as well as entertaining Kevin we love you!
Dear Kevin. Love your food and love your flowers
Where I live in Kwa Zulu Natal Durban South Africa it is very humid and very hot in Summer and medium warm in winter - maybe just a light cardigan.
Kevin, you have a beautiful, deep speaking voice. I'm surprised you weren't grabbed up to be a news announcer or analyst.
Exquisite DAY ☕️👋
A Close friend Fed me That DELICIOUS CHICKEN DINNER❤️
Thank You Kevin, I love pocket doors! I love chicken Piccata! and of course, I love your videos. Thank You so much! And thank you for keeping your mistakes in your videos like today when you forgot to add the oil to the dough. You reminded us that even the best make mistakes and showed us how to deal with it graciously. Looking forward to your next video. Chin Chin
