Apart from you being incredibly talented in everything you do - building, videography editing, sewing, designing and cooking - the most important thing you're giving us - the audience - through your soothing, lovely personality, is a little private space of peace to look forward to every other week in very chaotic and troubling times. And I can't thank you enough for that!❤

Three years edited into one hour.....only showing you on your bike with trailer once or twice as you rode into town 15-20 miles away in rain and snow to bring back your supplies. Not to mention growing seeds for your garden and sewing your dresses! The music played along with your nature cinematography, back lighting, all the details that make up a good movie and precise storytelling, is as talented as the builds in your house. You are exceptionally talented.

Rosie is an original and innovator. But some of the couples who are DIY's in France were asked by their subscribers if they watch other RUclips DIY's. I was shocked that Rosie was on almost everyone's viewings. Simply because their projects are on a grand scale. But at the end of the day everyone admires that being a solo DIY'r that she's built a marvelous skill set. But Dan Preston (a Gardner by trade Ex-Pat from UK) whose channel is Escape To Rural France has taken a landmark Chateau Chaumont that was burned in a fire by the last family in 1986 and in 18 months has breathed life back into the Chateau de Chaumont that was slated to be demolished. Many say that the fire was intentional because the circumstances just don't add up. During WWII this French Chateau was home to many Jewish children. Dan started out solo renovating the Chateau. But is now joined by Nick and Brian. What he's accomplished is simply mind blowing. Also Ex-Pat Americans Lincoln & Amanda channel Our French Chateau. They are a retired couple who moved to France before the pandemic with their girls. They are learning as they go as they face the challenges of not being fluent in French. They recently found out that their out buildings are in the Historical Society list. They were not informed by the Notary when they bought the property 4 years ago. So now they have to check to see if any other buildings in their parcel are also designated. This will bring significant challenges as anything they do will have to be approved by the committee.

To have all that stuff done properly someone must have professional training to know what tools to buy and how to SAFELY use them, to have a good experience of working with wood, to know what materials to purchase for different purposes, to make their own design for walls, windows, doors and furniture. There must have been a serious professional training before.

As someone who house flipped for over thirty years and then bought an English house over two hundred years old in a remote English village that was founded in 970AD and completely restored it while raising my family. My home took 16 years to do because we restored it to what it was but with a few modern touches. Everyone thought my husband and I were nuts taking on such a project but we got a bargain of an old English manor estate which came with 22 acres for just over 5o thousand and it's value now is in the 6 figure bracket and that's without the land. It's so peaceful and my peace of heaven. I now grow my own food.
I have just sat in awe at what you have done. Your woodworking skills are outstanding. I follow a lot of home renovators and homesteaders both home and abroad. I learn something new every time. I never did canning until watching someone else do it on an American homesteader but I do it now and proud of what I have achieved. I taught myself everything I know there were only two aspects for the renovation of my home that I contracted out and I would always do this and that's a brand new roof and all things electric. I couldn't live where you do I do not like snow at all. But other than that this is perfect it's like taking a deep breath of fresh air and the sounds of nature surrounds you. Watching this my heart slowed down I slowed down and now I need to watch it from the start
Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

We are living parallel lives. Four years ago I did the same thing! I still have joist issues when I get back. I bought a 32 foot motorhome. I am going to be 71 so winters were out of the question after my first winter alone. I am now camping in FLORIDA. December to March I frugally enjoy sunshine. Mine was in better shape but more than enough for me to handle. I fixed the siding. Painted it deep navy blue, white trim and put my own pewter gray roof on. Gutted and redid the kitchen. My trouble was getting rid of all the furniture and junk and huge piles of rotted cut wood. My goal is to have a garden this coming year. To rent it out on weekends and go camping locally here in New York State. Then build tent platforms with glamour inside and have a bed and breakfast in the woods.😊 Paid $35K with 2.5 acres in the woods. Good luck with yours. You can do this.❤

yes. you see. joist issues. it isn’t easy stuff. that’s how i know that you are real & you are admitting to your level of experience, and a certain someone who wants to make $22,000.00 a month on youtube income frime views is not being honest about her level of experience. i admire achievement. i do not admire lies to put a spin on the story and attract more astounded viewers. i would prefer to watch this viewer’s authentic experiences.

Oh Rosie! This is the best video to remind us just where you have been on this journey. It has been a pleasure watching all your progress. You remind me of myself when I was a much younger woman. I’m 73 now, but in 1974 my best friend and I decided we wanted to learn the construction business. We called every construction company in the Denver yellow pages and got all the way to the S’s before we found one that would give us a job. We started as laborers and they thought us everything we needed to know. We both ended up getting jobs with Mountain Bell, the Bell Telephone Company. I was the first woman to pass their pole climbing school, and was on the cover of their Company magazine, atop a telephone pole. My friend, Winona, ended up retiring from the phone company. All those phone calls paid off. I found your channel with your “Fairy Tale Greenhouse “ video and have watched every single episode you have made. I look forward to every episode you make. Your work is inspiring, and quality. I look forward to another year and what you will create. Your subscribers will soon reach 300,000! Looking forward to that day. I love your channel so much.

My grandmother and her family left Sweden to settle in Northern Michigan. I never asked her why! Just thinking about what her life would have been like in Sweden, if they had stayed. She gave birth to 19 babies, some didn't survive. The babies that survived to adulthood had families. She started a family and shared her strong & courageous qualities to the girls (the guys had their own individualities). So I'm thinking she had her moments of asking "why?" 🤔💕 We have family in Sweden that one of my cousins visited several times and did our family history. Sweden is a beautiful place to be connected to. Mrs. T

You are the one person that made me start woodworking and doing my own furniture. Some time I get a little discouraged when looking at videos of woodworking RUclipsrs, thinking "Oh I should really get that tool or this tool, oh I can't do anything if I don't have a 50m² workshop". Then I see one of your videos and I remember all the incredible things you have made and I start doing stuff again. Your channel is the one channel that helped me get the most confidence in myself, just by looking at you doing your stuff instead of telling people how they should do theirs. Plus all this is super cute haha
I don't know if that makes sense, anyway, thank you !!

    Dear Roaming Wild Rosie
As everyone else in your comments Im impressed and fascinated in what, and how, you do things in your little torp. But, its not the main reason Im following you, its your storytelling and videography. You are amazingly good at this and it becomes so evident in this tree years summing up video. Every time there is a new video I know Im in for a treat.
I do follow a couple of channels like yours. Its therapeutic for me as I sold my torp some years ago (in Värmland) and miss it a bit.
I have worked professionally with music all my life, and also done a fair bit of video and editing.
Your videography (and choice of music) is on such a high level. In my book this is one of the absolutt best videography vlogs on RUclips, any changer.
    God fortsättning!

Why hasn't this video gone viral? She should be up into millions with views. I don't know what the overall channel has brought cuz. I didn't look this girl's phenomenal. And this is something that every woman should seriously consider learning how to do. It's not really hard at 65I know how to do a lot of stuff. The only thing I can't do is cut and measure. I have to have someone do it for me. I suppose, now at 65I should learn how to do that little simple thing. I just always seem to mess it up. I live in a 6 bedroom, 3 bathhouse my children are all grown. They're in Earth. 30s and 40s I have 18 grandkids and now it's time for me to sell my house. I've only had it for 3 years, but i've always had large homes. I'm currently looking at something like what she has there. It's a hair under a acre. It's 777 square foot and the money that I get from selling. My house will be over $200000. This place is going to cost me about 45000 If I can get him down further, maybe 37, it has water damage and mold. It's a foreclosure, and I'm going for it. I also used to be a home inspector so I know what I'm looking at and I know how to do a lot of this stuff. I want my place pretty simple. And this is where I want to spend the rest of my life. With a chicken co-op in a beautiful garden, this is how I will live. The remainder of my life. I'm not interested in getting married or any more relationships. They don't seem to work when you put your mind into doing something like this. There's so much peace to it. Good luck, ladies. This woman doesn't need good luck. She's very smart happy homesteading❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
