I am an older , single person living alone. All the recipes have helped me to take an interest in my health. It’s hard when one lived alone to be interested in cooking. Thanks for helping me tackle this. I have learned many new things about gardening, etc. Thanks for everything. You asked about markets. I live near Orillia, Ontario Canada. 🌄 Good morning Kevin- Always a pleasure to watch you whip up a brunch. Crisp New Hampshire morning here. I am calling this ☕ coffee with Kevin. Currently reading The SWEETNESS of the BOTTOM of the PIE by Alan Bradley, who wrote his first mystery series when he was 70. It is set in an English village in 1950. I mention this, not only to say the novel is excellent, but to talk about 1950, my birth year. Reading Bradley's story reminded me of how different life was 73 year's ago, minus all the technology clutter and loss of the genteel side of life. Life was straight forward and full of exquisite details, showcasing the art of the household, cooking foods with friends & family. Zen & the Art of Adding a Touch of Elegance to One's Routine. I buy those gorgeous croissants at Cosco. They are flaky and buttery and freeze well. That 🍓 strawberry butter looks wonderful! Make no mistake, we are working farmers. There is that side to our existence, but still room for 🍐🍇🍐🍴🍸🍸 🍴 good china and a glass of wine. Thanks for sharing this beautiful brunch! ~ Diane
@rogue1303- Yes, I adored reading about Flavia and Nancy Drew growing up. I have spoken with Alan and he assures me that he is writing more Flavia mysteries. Its no easy task keeping her at eleven or twelve!
@rogue1303- Thank you so much for sharing the next book release date! I will pass that on to our librarian. We were just talking about Alan and when he would be releasing the next Flavia adventure. Apparently he has two books in the works and a tv series. Flavia would do Sherlock proud!
You made me laugh so much when you were talking about the chickens, very funny! The food looks wonderful and the flower arrangement was gorgeous. I was horrified by how much you're paying for croissants. They're no where near that price in the UK. But they did look delicious. Thank you for posting, your vids always leave me feeling so relaxed.
Bonjour Kevin !
Kevin....you have reached a ROYAL LEVEL. What an amazing presentation of treasures .... high cuisine, elegant home,flower-arrangement delight OUTSTANDING.. made my day to watch you THANK YOU LOVED EVERY MINUTE
Kevin, I always look forward to seeing you. The brunch dishes look delicious. I was laughing when you joked about the 🐔 chickens. Eggs here in CT are the same price. Thank you .
I can tell right now, without having tasting it, that I would love that Bloody Mary mix 😋 As an ex floral designer, I also still use the foam, especially in an oblong container. Table looks gorg, as usual.
Trying this out when my grandchildren visit next weekend. The dessert trolley will be a favourite for them, and their parents will appreciate the Bloody Marys and casserole. Will work really well as they are visiting in time for Brunch and I even have an extensive collection of the Liberty Blue crockery, inherited from my late parents but in immaculate condition. Thank you so much for the inspiration xx
Fantastic brunch! Love your blue and white plates and goblets. That's my favourite choice when setting the table for guests. Thanks for another great video! Best wishes from Toronto 🇨🇦😊
Tee hee! I agree and hope as well that the chickens got a raise! Although I heard some of them prefer a 4x4 in winter. 😁😄 Kevin! I can’t wait to try your fabulous oatmeal bars for tomorrow’s breakfast and will sit at your table in spirit (if that’s okay). Thank you for the new video and as always, much love from Nova Scotia. ☺️
Just what I needed as I sit here in the midst of a bout of Covid, not able to taste or smell a thing 🥲But, this too shall pass, and then I’m going to invite some friends over for croissants and strawberry butter! Another time, I’ll serve them the gelatine dessert for dinner. Thanks for the pick-me-up, Kevin!
Wow! I will definitely have to make the bloody mary mix sans vodka. (I can not drink much alcohol...) I love tomato vegetable juice with a little lemon. 😊
Hello Kevin Lee Jacob, I just was watching your video cooking Channel, Beautiful flower pot arranging and home made food, callm music play on the back ground what A blessing and joyful atmosphere,God blessing 😊 🙏
My sister and I used to go to Empire casino in Yonkers NY a few Sunday mornings every month. We would start with a Bloody Mary before our slots play. They used Ocean Spray tomato juice and it made the best Bloody Mary I ever tasted. You can’t get it in the store but it was so delicious. We would only spend an hour play a hundred dollars and we usually won. Then it was off to brunch at one of our favorite restaurants
Thanks for the great ideas Kevin, its great to see you x brunch has caught on in the UK and we often meet family and friends for brunch now x Yours looks amazing and I will definitely be trying them. Thanks once again x
I love everything…thank you so much. I’m going to make the baked blueberry oatmeal. Susie is right…Your recipes are so inspirational. Thank you, you are a wonderful teacher.
Love this Kevin! I love Ina’s bloody Mary’s! The table looks beautiful and the flowers looked like a spring garden. You’re a lot of fun! So happy I found you!
I love brunch entertaining. This is an easy/elegant meal to serve. Thank you. LOVE the '60's dessert! PS...adding a little green olive juice to your Bloody Mary mixture is a nice hit. Also, our neighbors love a "Tequila Mary" which is a version I had not heard of. If you are a tequila drinker, your guests may enjoy this twist. Everything else is the same!
Avery! What did you steal off the counter? Loved this video. Absolutely beautiful presentation plus fun with 🐔 🚗. I especially enjoy the "spend the day" video's; Avery, work outs, driving, store, flower arrangements, piano playing & of course all the wonderful recipe presentations. Thank You Kevin!
W O W!!! You have outdone yourself Kevin!! Super recipes to try…you are delightful. I went to a movie theater the other day and could hardly hear; the three chickens in front of me were cackling so loud 🐣🐥🐤 Thank you 😊
David Sinclair is an aging expert. He says that wild or stressed fruits and vegetables are more nutritious than blemish free, perfect ones. They are forced to put on their A game to survive. Similarly, when we stress our system with intermittent fasting and working out, sauna and ice baths, we put on our A game 😊
I love all your make ahead party recipes! Wish I was there to test out that Bloody 🤪As long as it has enough horseradish I bet it's a home run. I am spoiling my chickens with extra treats and love right now so they don't go on strike, $7 is a lot for a dozen eggs! Have a wonderful weekend.
Hi Kevin, I just subscribed today after your channel appeared as if by magic. Uhm, about those Bloody Mary's, please leave that onion out as nobody needs onion in their drink. A wonderful rimmer is Old Bay and only rim half of the glass. Celery Salt and olive juice are great addition as is horseradish. Hot sauce and Worcestershire of course! Zing Zang has the best mixer that's much better than plain tomato juice or V8. Garnish with celery and an asparagus spear and squeeze a little fresh lime. Glad you used the Tito's for this. Texas girl here :). Oh, I'm a bartender... I do parties now. Love your channel.
230310. Off the subject Jane and I are enjoying our morning offer as well as enjoying our blooming forsythia which we cut and brought in per your suggestion. Hi from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️💚 i have recently started following you - I enjoy it so much and I'm getting great tips - thank you 😍 can I ask who Mr Fox is please 😘🍀🇮🇪☘️💚
Thank you for all the great comments! Concerning Ina Garten's "Bloody Mary" mixture, I thought it needed a little more "kick." Give it a taste, and then add more horseradish and/or hot pepper sauce as you see fit! xKevin
just bought 10 lbs of honey from our local 4H fair (local bee keeper) we buy every year- one dark and one light- will be making this recipe this weekend (one with honey and a small one with stevia (have a person that needs to watch sugar) if this is a hit I'll be visiting the beekeeper in a few months- won't be able to wait till net summer --- I have had an oatmeal bake with maple syrup and honey and it was very good- btw you need to get about 6 chickens- you will love the eggs and they will eat all your veggies scraps - we only have dozen now- but we did have over 100 for years- and they are not a lot of work -
You’re my most favorite RUclips creator ever since I stumbled upon your videos. Your content is elegant, chic and full of creative ideas. Keep them coming ❤
Mr. Fox and I have good taste. My freezer always has baked oatmeal bars since I saw your first video. I like them for an afternoon snack with tea - split in half, add a smear of peanut butter, a drizzle of honey, and a sprinkle of chopped pecans. Of course, I cut mine much smaller than yours. Yum, yum! Beautiful table. Kudos.
Thank you so much Kevin ! I love watching your video's ! Love the blueberry cake as I have the berries on hand in my freezer! I will make this brunch for Easter Sunday! Thank you so much ! You are the very best !
A perfect spring meal. I love chilled soup in spring and summer. The soup, salad and dessert were a perfect balance to the richness of the duck. The table set with antique china was beautiful. Wonderful episode Kevin.
Kevin! OMG I love all your videos but this one had a bit of a different spin onto it. You are multi talented, but I didn't know that you also are a comedian! LOL. I couldn't stop laughing about the chickens. Thank you for inviting me to your beautiful brunch. You really inspire me. Just a little note on how to easily remove a piece of eggshell if it happens to fall into your dish - The easiest way is to take a piece of an eggshell and scoop it out. My dad told me this trick and it really works. The bit of eggshell seems to gravitate to it's host (where it came from). So glad to have found your videos. They truly make me feel happy! Love, from your Canadian friend.
Just your smile Kevin, is enough for me to want to watch more of your stress free videos. Ina's my all time go to also. She does cook a lot like you do. Always buy somethings, she says, you don't have to make everything yourself. I found several friends to get fresh eggs from, $3 a dozen. No store bought eggs for me. 🐔
Kevin! Everything is spectacular! I love the menu, everything is very appetizing! You say you are not a floral designer, but I would never know it by the way you put together the beautiful centerpiece! Love your channel, and I hope to make these recipes soon. 💓
Hi Kevin, I recently found your channel and I am in love with your stress free cooking and baking. I also love your humor especially about the chickens, lol. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us! ❤❤

Just wanted to let you know I loved everything you've made today, including the beautiful flower arrangement. I'm also extremely jealous of those lucky chickens; shopping at tiffany's was the icing on the cake for me!😅 Also thank you for always doing the celcius in your oven settings, that's what we use in the uk. Wales is where I'm from. I look forward to your videos you're always so lovely, kind and explain your cooking process ina way that makes it easy to remember what and how to do the dish. Thank you ❤
Always such a pleasure to see a new video. I am planning to have some friends to brunch soon and this menu is great, love that your parties are prepare ahead dishes so the cook can relax and enjoy with the guests. I used to do everything the hard way and miss the fun!
Have you watched THE PALE BLUE EYE yet? ...on Netflix. I got an 80 inch big screen tv, last October, and although the storyline could be improved, and it was fictional, I LOVED all the scenery of upstate New York set in the early 1800's. I really felt like I was there back in time. Maybe if you have a cinima party and no one has seen it yet, that could be an option. Harry Potter's evil cousin is all grown up playing Edgar Allen Poe, which the character was probably spot on.
I have made the blueberry baked oatmeal twice now. The first time was for an ice fishing expedition and it was a hit. The second time was just to have on hand in the freezer. I increased the cinnamon and its so good. Next time I think I’ll try adding walnuts. Thanks Kevin for another winner!
Thank you again Kevin for another great video! I always look forward to watching them. Your table looks beautiful and inviting; and the floral centerpiece is awesome. I will definitely try out the egg and sausage gratin. Thanks for sharing! 😀🍷🍷
