    Hello Heidi,
Thank you for all of your videos on how to host afternoon tea. I’m hosting an afternoon tea for my mother’s birthday at the end of this month. I splurged on a nice tea set but I figure it’s good to have one on hand! It was a great time to come across your channel! Love all of your content, your warm smile, and caring personality! Blessings to you always 💗

      Hello Mandi!
So lovely to hear from you and I am so excited about your afternoon tea party!! your mother is going to be so delighted and it will be a fabulous event! I cannot wait to hear all about it! I’d love to see some pictures, perhaps if you have some, you can send them to me through my website, I would love to see them!
That’s really neat that you invested in a tea set, when you own one it encourages you to do more afternoon teas, you already have it set up, so if he comes easy to find a good reason to host an afternoon tea💕🫖
Thank you for your kind words and compliments, and I cannot wait to hear about your tea, and remember, afternoon tea is supposed to be informal and fun!
      Warm regards,
      Heidi💕💕🫖🫖

Hello Mrs. Heidi! Thank you for your videos, I've been binge watching them, they are so well done! I have a question that I would love to get an answer to if possible.
    1. When you have a gift for someone (not for their birthday) when meeting over lunch, when is the right time to give it to them? At the beginning of the meeting, right when you see each other, at the end or when? Thank you!

Let me add my Tuppence worth ! Always flag it to the table servant or indeed some part of the household staff that you are about to hand over your gift, then have them sound the Charge of The Light Brigade, two trumpets would be adequate, then make a finite speech of around four hours about the cost of onions and Tripe, with a flourish leave the room and go home and write down your recollection of the whole event to be enjoyed by future generations !!yup, that'll do it !!

      Hello!
Please except my deepest apologies, somehow, I am just now reading your comment, I am not quite sure why I did not see it as soon as you posted it. I’m very sorry.
Thank you though, for watching and leaving this beautiful comment! do you have a very good question, and the answer is do it when it feels right, or when it has been pre-arranged. Sometimes birthday parties are arranged so everyone understands that we will have some refreshments first a meet and greet, and then will sit down and present the gifts. Sometimes the gifts are to be opened in front of the guests, and sometimes they are not. It’s best if it is understood, upfront what the protocol will be with the giftgiving. So to answer your question do it however, you have arranged it, or if it just feels right as soon as you come in and you want to present your gift, then present your gift. please be aware that in some cultures, especially in the east, gifts are not open in front of the giver, it’s about saving face.
I hope this helps a little, and I apologize again for the long delay in replying.
I’d be so honored if you would kindly subscribe to my channel and accept my apologies for the very tardy response.
      Warm regards,
      Heidi.😘🎁

The Marchioness of Stickapopple was the second wife of that Great War hero and First Lord of the Moat my great Uncle Rear Admiral Sir Dickie Stickapopple, they had many afternoon gatherings in the Rose garden, yes indeed she was the perfect hostess !well. nearly, she once threw an upper class tantrum and sacked our entire household staff on the spot, it was a sad sight, like the flight into Egypt,a string of human misery walking down the Avenue, yup ,Noblesse obligeeeeee! So Sad !!I cannot go on !!
