  • The key to packing for any trip starts with being organized. Packing light reduces stress and makes navigating your journey much more manageable. Create a checklist, start early, and follow Heidi's rule of eliminating half of what you initially pack and think you need. In this video, Heidi shows us her packing tips and tricks and makes anticipating packing fun instead of dreading it.

So cool! I use my large Longchamps bag to separate items like dusty shoes or a wet bathing suit from the rest of my bag on the journey home. ;)

Great advice. I tend to overpack. I don’t know how people can travel with such a light suitcase or carry on at times. I can’t seem to reduce my volume and that is something I need to improve.

Hello! Lovely to hear from you! Trust me, as a former way-over-packer, slimming things down to just a few items is liberating! Ask yourself, on your last trip, what did you really wear? Most likely, the answer is you wore the same things most days because it's easy. Pare it down, you'll thank me later!💕
      Warmest regards, as usual,
      Heidi💕💕

Great advice! Would you pack the same amount of clothing for a two week trip?

Hello! Thanks so much for watching a great comment! Yes, I do travel very lightly, I figure out how to do a little laundry, if needed or I usually can do things in the hotel sink and let them dry in the shower. I find packing light liberating. Also if you find something great while you’re traveling, it’s always fun to pick up a little something new.

Thank you! Going to France for 2 weeks in September and really going to try to pare down and follow your suggestions.
