I think tipping has gotten out of hand in the US. We must be the only country in the world that practice this. In the past, tipping was an option, now it is a requirement. Recently I watched family of four from NZ express their opinions about coming to America as a tourist and everywhere they go tips is required, plus the food is not cheap. I agree. I should not have to pay $85 for a haircut, $15 for shampoo and tip the attendants for the service that I pay them to do. If I pay for food to be delivered, I have tip too?
Hello! Thanks for watching and leaving your comments! I agree, I think tipping has gotten out of control, and if you look at the history, we were always a tipping culture, however, that’s changed. So many other parts of the world offer wages that are sufficient and do not require an additional tip. It’d be nice to get to that place.
