Okay, just to be clear about the mortal blade, it can sever someone's immortal link with the deity that gave them immortality like how you sever the connection between the elders at the temple by being able to remove the centipede from their bodies but even those centipedes aren't truly immortal and will eventually die as shown by the elder in the hidden cave behind the temple where you get one of the itens for the true ending. So IF this analysis is correct (please correct me if i am wrong) so long as the immortality isn't an innate ability of the creature the mortal blade won't be able to destroy the immortality so then both the hunter and the tarnished would be affected by the mortal blade but the undead from dark souls won't be, now it may cause the undead to go hollow but then it would make things even worse for sekiro.

I think the scale is rather important, the scale of demon souls, dark souls etc is basically a single planet. The power of gods is limited to a single world, it does not extend to the stars and such. Elden ring is on a much much greater scale, the Greater Will is not far from being the demiurge or a just below a judeochristian god the power scale is higher the powers are universe influencing. Blood borne is somewhere in between it’s not super clear how powerful the great ones are but their dominion does extend to the stars and higher planes of reality. I think the list is fine but bloodborne should be ranked 2nd. I think a more clear way to ranking strength is early game, mid game, and ending. For example hunter is weak early and mid game his feats are not that impressive a few large beasts? Great ones in physical form not impressive compared to the other characters. Ascension to great one? Very very impressive. Or wolf early game and mid game very very powerful late game? Ehh whatever some local warlord and his son.

Sekiro is very hard to rate. If you got sense of rhythm it's one of the easiest games you ever played. If you dont you're fck'd in this game. You literally can beat almost every boss by pressing one button at the right timing. It was very boring gameplay for me.

I personally think the ashen one is more powerful/skilled Not only does he kill literal gods like the others He fights the abyss which is immortal and came back alive (unlike any ANY others who died or got consumed by the abyss) He also went against old chaos (who also had many man sacrificed to and had to have an ice age like situation just to slow down) He also fights the soul of cinder that is every single lord threw many many many years have combined into Idk about the others but the ashen can’t die until the job is done and his meaning/goal is complete but even then he just goes hollow He’s also fought the ancient dragons who were also god like beings He also fought midier an ancient dragon that was raised to fight the abyss and then got consumed by the abyss And He fought Gail who had the dark soul in him He fought alsmot the whole Gwynn bloodline who are all basically gods Etc Tarnished is also pretty powerful and could be a tie Idk anything about the hunter apart from “GUN” so yea Edit: to clarify I was classifying the chosen undead, the curse barer and the ashen all in one I think the dark souls trilogy is winning as a whole I do think out of these 3 mc’s The chosen undead will win simply because “the abyss” The curse barer 2nds for chaos and Ashen 3rd we haven’t seen them fight chaos or abyss

My first dark souls game was blood borne and i would rank them in this order easy - hardest: darksouls 1 remastered, bloodborne, darksouls 2(never finished), dark souls 3 and eldan ring (pretty even), sekiro, and for me demon souls as my hardest. Demons souls is my weakness yet i fly through every other game Favorite: Bloodborne and sekiro This is under the idea on not using summons and melee only since thats how i like to play im going to beat there ass and they are going to KNOW when i do cuz it wont be from far away

The Hunter from Bloodborn would absolutely body the Tarnished. Chosen Undead is just outright stronger, because the bosses in Dks 1 aren't mere demigods. They're fucking gods. And Manus scales to them if not above them. Not to mention Kalameet is still an ancient fucking dragon, that arrow didn't do shit except keep him from flying. He's still just as strong as before. Ashen One is probably on par with Tarnished, as it's essentially a decayed version of Dks 1

All I gotta say is when I'm playing The Tarnished and I kill idk, a fucking God, I get "God Slain". But when I play the Hunter, kill THE FUCKING MOON MONSTER, I get "Nightmare Slain". The Tarnished may be more powerful, but no doubt that playing the Hunter makes you feel infinitely more badass as you kill things and get "Prey Slaughtered" instead of "Victory Achieved".

I have to disagree with the list simply on the principle that cosmic gods inherently outscale terrestial gods, the same way that regular gods inherently outscale demigods. The Tarnished defeats 3 cosmic gods: Metyr, Astel and the Elden Beast. The Hunter defeats between 5 and 9 cosmic gods depending on which ones you want to count: Amygdala, Ebrietas, Mergo's Wet Nurse (+Mergo), Orphan of Kos and The Moon Presence (and Rom, The One Reborn and Brain of Mensis as lesser ones). The Tarnished may have killed lots of gods and demigods and ascended to godhood, but the Hunter killed more cosmic gods and became a cosmic god. As for the Bearer of the Curse, they escape the cycle of life, death and the undead curse who knows where to place them? Clearly above the terrestrial godhood of the Tarnished, but are they above even the cosmic gods? That's hard to fully justify but not impossible. I'd put it in this order: 1. The Hunter 2. The Bearer of the Curse 3. The Tarnished 4. The Ashen One 5. The Chosen Undead 6. Sekiro 7. Slayer of Demons Bonus hot take: Priscilla could beat Maliketh.

I think Sekiro is more powerful than the tarnished. That’s because for one, he has the mortal blade. A katana that kills the undying (including the tarnished). 2, he’s immortal, has many different prosthetic tools at his disposal, and he’s a trained ronin. The lands between and the shadow realm would be a side quest for someone like him.

I stopped watching when you put Sekiro in sixth. He has, the mortal blade. And is immortal. Tarnished, can die. They can have a final death. Sekiro, would fucking annihilate the Tarnished. He's faster, has a ninja prosthetic for every situation. And the Armored Warrior, is literally just a picture battle to get you better at deflects. A katana could slip in through the gaps to kill him. Anyways, it's Raven. 10 meter mech going mach 8-10 wins every time 😂
