Hi, is it vital that both index fingers in the same direction? In yoour grip they are crossing each other. And whle checking with the left index with the pad, the club.runs across the palm other than the base of fimgers. Not very understamding.

Mike I have a quick question. Does my torso take the club back. I know you say your shoulders but to stay connected I personally feel my rib cage area taking it back. Also do you do any online lessons if so where?

I am going to give this a try as I am having problems getting the elbow into the slot. In going through your videos one thing that getting me confused is the difference in the swing between a longer iron and a wedge (flighted shot).

Guess I’ll golf cross-handed since it’s impossible for me to get proper top position with a normal grip

Great video..when i try to swing back like that so I will swing down more from the inside it backfires and i hit it off the heel..any ideas? I seem to do better swinging back and through hopefully on the same plane

This is the best explanation of the downswing sequence. After spending a year trying to get my hips to rotate properly this explains why I was not getting power behind the ball (rotating my chest too early). Need to see if I can put this into practice.

at 4.20 the golfswing ills are cured lol. This is the concept that will help all of us and keep the clubhead in line the ulnar for speed. Get above the shoulders and you will activate the radial muscle which is above the ball.

Sir, you must have been watching my impressive range session today.😂 I have actually had this issue for a long time now and it has become debilitating for me. For me, this is worse than a shank. I wish I could shank one as that would mean things are improving. These look like wonderful drills and I will work them as I definitely have a little bit of what you were describing in my swing. Nice job!

I made the mistake of stretching the club head out down the line so long the hands followed it... Then I began to believe in it as I thought that was "built in" arm lift and necessary. I didn't think about low camera angles of the pros on tv.

Okay--- it finally clicked, THANK GOD !!!!! thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! I have been struggling with this for some time now. I started playing golf from whe I was in my early teens about 5 years ago and this one video was just another one of your many videos I have watched and tried to implement. Now ---- I can honestly say I can not wait to get back out on the course next weekend. Yesterday was a good round --- BUT --- now with this --- this is literally just the few swing thoughts to maintain during the round from this point forward. I even implemented the and path during putting --- Holy cow what a difference.

Excellent teaching video. If every beginner golfer would watch this video and learn this first, they would save themselves years of having to unlearn bad habits. I've seen so many golfers that had bad swings because they started the takeaway wrong, and the rest of their swing was making compensations for a bad takeaway. Really good video, thanks.

Any tips for reducing hip turn? I’m deffo over rotating the hips. Sportsbox showing around 55 degrees. Just the thought of trying to limit movement isn’t working for me. As soon as my upper body moves my left hip, left knee moving towards ball. Many thanks

I found if a say “Hi-Dek-I at top of backswing it insures I have a long enough pause. Results in amazing consistency!

I need to come out there for some lessons

My coach has me swinging like I want to hit my own toes. I struggle bad as I have a pretty severe over the top swing. Great lesson; I’m really going to apply this knowledge; thank you!
