  • In this video, Mike Pitt teaches you the technique that will help you hit straighter and potentially longer drives. As you know, the driver is the longest club in the bag which means that the set up requires a different mindset.

I’ve absolutely enjoyed watching the last few videos. I feel like you’ve been talking about me and my swing. 😂 they’ve been spot on for some of the swing thoughts I’ve been working on.

Great lesson, Mike! Regarding the wrist-set for the driver being at chest height, would the wrist-set for a 3-wood & 5-wood be between the belt and the the bottom of the ribs? Thanks very much!

At 4:47 - Are you saying his rehearsal was correct or was something that he shouldn’t be doing?

My Driver is a nightmare left and going left most of the time. and my distance has dissapeared. I am only 51 I should still be hitting the ball well. Driver has always been my struggle. If I could get it solved

The answer for you at 51 is setting up to make a bigger turn the number one thing that is affecting your driver length and your left.
Learning to make a huge body turn with a shorter arm, swing, and then accelerating your left arm through the golf ball and open up your body to the left! ( yes, the direction you don’t want the golf ball to go!)
Loss of distance and quick shots are most of the time caused by a short quick backswing with the driver
Check out these tips on how to make a bigger turn

This and adams channel is not the channel for the vast vast majority of you. This is a swing for D1 caliber athletes who can move their bodies in ways you can't even imagine. It's a good swing. But its not for you.

Hahaha! I must say this is one of the silliest things I’ve ever heard! You are completely off in your analysis we simplify the golf swing for every person out there no matter the age or skill level. if you have a trunk, two arms and two legs you can do it. Sometimes you don’t even need two legs as we work with golfers with prosthetics all the time. We work with players of every level, including beginners! Get a good set up, set the golf club, turn it to the top and understand sequence! Simple. That’s actually what differentiates us.
You could not be more off in your analysis. Max is not a division one player he’s a new father, who plays for fun.
Here is a great video for older golfers, trying to create a bigger turn just to completely prove your point.

Just because we choose to put some of the better players on RUclips doesn’t mean the every day weekend warrior who we work with often can’t do it. These are called limiting beliefs.
In fact, why don’t you just go through any videos comments on either channel and you’ll see what I mean.
Thanks for watching, but please don’t ever misrepresent us and what we do to our viewers.

I’m 65, it’s definitely for me. I’ve never hit the ball more solid and my enjoyment of the game has skyrocketed, which at the end of the day is why I’m playing. Cheers
