I'd love to do this with an orbit path, but I can never get the path points just right. Do you have any tips for that? It looks like you only had two points here.

Very interesting test. We regularly used drones at the active Stromboli volcano and were always impressed by what was possible back in 2013. Today we are much further ahead, great, let's wait and see what new developments time will bring. Best regards

I am thinking of getting my first drone for my birthday. I'm a complete newbie and can't decide between the DJI neo or DJI mini? The mini seems the best value because it comes with a controller... However I'm just wanting to try one for fun, record a little bit of video and explore places

Hi, GyroFlow is not listed in mine. Only RockSteady and HorizonBalancing stabilization are available. I'm using a Goggles N3 with FPV remote 3. What I'm missing?😂 Thanks

I started to use this app only today with my avata 2 footage, and however I liked its stabilising, I noticed huge distortion on the corners of the picture what looks bad. If you switch on and off the "toggle stabilisation overview" button on the right lower corner below the footage picture, you will see how much it distorts the picture. The cause of it is that the lens correction strength is on 100% as default. This video proposes to leave it on 100%, but on my footage it seriously distorts the objects and people in the corners of the picture, so I propose to check it and adjust it carefully according to your footage. Also on the sample footage of this video the corners are really distorted because of this setting is on 100%. It is easy to check how much it ruins your footage. Set all axis stabilisation smoothness to minimum which is 0,1%. Switch on the toggle stabilisation overview, and play with the lens correction setting and you will see how much it distorts unnecessarily the picture. Probably because the app already knows that it is avata 2 footage with lens correction baked in, so the additional lens correction is not needed at all. There is another setting what protects our footage from it, even at 100% lens correction strength setting: In the left hand side on the lens profile, if you open the advanced button, and if you check in the "Lens in underwater", than the video footage won't be distorted. I guess it works against the lens correction setting.

Can you fly this drone with the manual controller 3 but without the fpv goggles? I already own that controller been using in sims but dont actually own any drone yet, was intending to buy an avata 2 flymore package down the line once get comfortable. But figure some real world experience would be advantageous in the short term and obviously durability is a requirment given noob status lol.

Despite some initial hiccups with setting this drone and RC-N3 controller up with my non-cell service phone (which I intend to solely utilize as an FPV monitor for this device), I am so grateful to have received this as a gift from my Parents!

Won't the tress and bushes around your position negatively affect the range, when I see fpv ling range videos, the line of sight is usually very important.

I was flying Neo near a river recently and lost signal due to mountains, it was in tracking mode, Neo drifted into the side of the mountain and slipped down into the river. It was under water for about 30 seconds. I thought it was over with this little guy. 5 days later Neo is still working great!

Interesting that you have to set the angle. I would have thought it would gimbal the camera to match the tilt automatically?

That hickup could be a way to get out from a situation where it tries to ascend through an obstacle or get out from some vegetation.

i have 3, one to fly- one with a tree recovery hook-and one to fly if the first two get stuck in a tree. i learned to fly no higher then i can climb and over water no further than i can swim.
