Try out this Banded Joint Mobilization to free up those hips!
Using a monster band helps to open up the joint space while you’re working through different movement patterns.
In this variation we’re setting up in a bit of a lunge so the band has a posterior/lateral pull on the joint.
From here we can work our hip into some internal rotation and external rotation.
Spend a minute or two in each hip and see if it feels a bit more open afterwards!

How can I reduce knee pain when my heels elevated on squat/lunges
When we elevate the heel we tend to move in a knee over toe pattern which puts a lot more stress on the knee joint. You may want to work through more of a hip hinge pattern instead to offset the force on the knee
Great additional details.. find this to be harder on right leg with knee compression. Will try focusing on more hip hinge glute activation
Great idea! Mastering that hip hinge and getting the glutes to work properly will have a huge benefit on stability and take some pressure off the knee joint!

absolutely. Young athlete's could benefit a ton from learning to control their body
Wouldnt a good jog do a similar job? Helps breakdown all thats being built up. Except jogging isnt 1k lol
you're 100% right, and honestly active recovery like a walk/jog is my preferred method. But hopping in the boots and getting some of the same benefits is a nice bonus.

How is this board beneficial then just walk in before and after a workout?
The compression created via the boots helps to mobilize the fluids in the lymphatic system. However, you are correct that walking is an amazing tool to help promote active recovery as well!
