  • 🔥 LAT ACTIVATION 🔥
    This is one of my go to warm up drills to fire up the lats before major lifts.
    Many people have a tough time building that mind-muscle connection with their lats.
    This simple single arm row can help develop that ability to contract the lats well in movements like pull ups, rows or any other lat dominant pattern
    There are two keys here
    1️⃣ Drive that elbow down toward the hip. Don’t just try to get it back as far as you can and muscle it there with your arm. USE THE LAT
    2️⃣ Add in a little side bend. The lats help to sidebend the torso due to their origin and insertion. This extra little sidebend can really help teach you to feel that muscle contract
