I feel the way his daughter did. I believe in Jesus and love him, but since I was a kid I’ve never felt saved. Why can’t I feel it like everyone else? I have no doubt in the God of the Holy Bible, but why can’t I just have peace about it? I think some fundamentalists twist things and put their beliefs in what they say. This channel is helping me so much. I’m a Christian, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have to live in reality. Life is hard and it’s getting harder for men by the day. Society has told us that our worth is dependent upon how much money we have. Masculinity has been put in a bad light, and we are told we should be ashamed of our desire to be masculine. We are also told we should feel guilty about things we had nothing to do with. I’m seeing so many men struggling these days. I think there is literally a spiritual attack on men in this country.

This hit home. I’m 38 and I realized yesterday that I actually hate myself. I dropped something and instantly said “ you dumbass loser”. Ive ignored this for too long. On the outside everyone I know thinks im successful and have it made. But if only they knew how I feel on the inside. I’ve lost 35 pounds in 2 years. I think about doing things to end this suffering. I’m tired.

Im enjoying the increase in my SMV in my late 20s after decades of being chosen over by women, I like having lots of options but being very selective. Cultivating lots of options is a great feeling however after decade of life with zero. I wish society understood this more, it is now harder for me to choose 1 women and to take a government contract like marriage seriously because I had to endure a decade or longer as a maturing man with a desire for love and companionship and had to face it with zero options for so long. If society is willing to have this discussion of young men being chosen over and traumatized as a result, merely addressing this issue, then that to me will be the sign of societal progress

I great video and a necessary conversation. But also the channel seems to be treading the path of a "low-key" campaign against "organized" religion. I come from an atheistic broken family. My childhood was shitty. There's memories of abuse that will never go away. I turned to Abrahamic religion (not Christianity) as a young man and it was where I found answers about the world. My heart goes out to the grieving father.

Problem is your partner and rest of your family need to be on the same wavelength or spirtuality otherwise it will become really hard. The mark of the beast comes to mind. You have to be willing your whole family to live off the grid not easy if you have young children.
