    Many men have gained the world but lost their soul. They have the car, the house, the girl, but have lost themselves along the way. External results mean nothing without the inner peace and integration to enjoy them. The outer trappings and achievements just become the icing on the cake, not the cake itself.

    You gotta start small, be pragmatic with yourself. Otherwise you can stay a whole year planning without achieving anything while you could get gradual results with the basics that would build up to drastic visible changes. Lots of patience required. Also, you can only know yourself enough once you act, because only then you will trully know your current limitations and where to adjust, everything else is a mix of mental projections and wishful thinking.

    FYI talking to a camera will invalidate most car insurance and you can be pulled over by the police for careless driving. Filming for TV etc in moving cars is rarely done with the actors actually driving on a public road and when it is special measures are in place. I believe a RUclipsr died in a car accident when recording themselves before the pandemic, saw news article the coroner attributed the accident to being distracted. Gotta take care, no point having lean abs if dead.

      It's no different than talking to someone in the passenger seat TBH. I think it makes the viewer nervous because they can't see the road, but I certainly can. Thanks for the concern.

    Men who are fat, this works. I dropped 20 kilos in two-three months. I was 132 KGS, I weigh 112 KGS now. This is possible!

    Little correction, calorie deficit is more important than walking for fat loss. You can walk all day but if you eat at/above maintenance calories you won’t lose weight.

    • @fonziegee
      @fonziegee 5 месяцев назад

      do both, walking is good for the body, why discourage it? You get fresh air and natural sunlight, and you slowly burn calories. If you make that a routine and do it every day it makes more of an impact

    Great content and advice as usual, Ryan! 2 months ago I started intermittent fasting and have been running at least 5 times a week. Still long way to go but I do see/feel some results. I’ve dropped 10 kg and I feel great pretty much most of the time except some nights where I can’t fall asleep easily. My meals are lots of veggies with tuna and every single time after my run I do a bit of calisthenics (pull-ups and I try to hang for at least 2-3 minutes). On top of this, adding semen retention, meditation, and journaling every day makes me think that I’m on the right path.
    One question: do you recommend creatine for muscle growth?

    I am just reaching my ideal weight after months and months of efforts but I still wanted to hear what our guy had to say.
    I agree 100%. The points specifically of momentum, choosing the right foods, calorie deficit and a good but not excessive amount of intermittent fasting.
    One thing that you have to realize is you might never like going to the gym, but you’re not going there because you like it, you’re going there to invest on yourself!!
    Same goes for diet, it’s not about what you like, it’s about what’s best for your body.
    Come on guys you can do it, but no chance if you are not the first that wants to do it. Remember that. You need to be your first motivator.
    Another great video! Thank you for all this great content. I hope you get people to follow you for their diet journey, I couldn’t do it alone.

      One thing that people don't tell you though... is you eventually DO like it. You just have to get over the initial hump.
      Once you start seeing progress, you start to really enjoy the process and look forward to your workouts and intentionally nutritious meals. It doesn't "feel like discipline" forever.

    Can I build muscle without protein shakes? I'm allergic to it and have tried so many times. How should I build muscle and not get smaller without protein shakes?

    • @TheConsciousMan143
      @TheConsciousMan143  3 месяца назад

      I don't consume any protein supplements. I get all of my protein from lean meats mostly. It's easy to get the daily protein you need just from food.

    Ive been putting off this comment for a while but the camera is out of focus in every car talk video. Instead on focusing on the eyes its focused on the seat. Kinda ruins the cinematic experience you're going for, but maybe its just me. Great videos btw

    • @ChrisBadges
      @ChrisBadges 5 месяцев назад

      The video says to reduce 500 kcal and not 1500-2000. If you are obese, you will have a minimum of 3000 kcal pure maintenance. No need to go to 1000 kcal extremes; I do not think this is a viable solution, nor does the advice in the video.
