Exactly. Everybody is the main character in their own story. Nobody is any more special than anyone else, we’re all human.
Everybody has their own problems, it’s inescapable. We are all born, we then live on this Earth for about several decades, and then we die. Tom Hanks, You, and the drugged out bum on the sidewalk are all just living this human experience. None of us are perfect, we are flawed and we make mistakes and fall victim to temptation because we are human, it’s part of the human experience. We all deal with problems (albeit different problems) but nevertheless we all deal with them whether it’s relationship issues, family issues, a lack of fulfillment, etc. We all need to eat, need to shit, and need to drink water in order to survive.

Also the fact that watching a video cost you time isn't necessarily bad because it may affect you to do something positive.

Absolutely loved this video. I recently hit rock bottom and it gave me so much clarity on who I used to be, who I am now, and who I want to become. Something that really helped make things click for me was reading about Carl Jung's "Persona". The "higher self" IS something anyone can step into which to me is simply being unapologetically yourself and it has a magnetic effect on the people around you who are too insecure to do the same themselves - it's not easy at first but becomes easier as you see the amazing positive impact it has on your life, but in a way, the higher self is also a mask. In order to become the truly best version of yourself, it takes time and effort - the sooner you recognize this, the sooner you realize time is on your side and the world becomes your oyster. It's wild to think how I recently was going through the worst moment of my life and how quickly things shifted to being the happiest I've ever been with so much excitement for what's to come in my future. Just found your content today but will definitely be sharing this with friends in my life who need to hear what you have to say.

    1. it signals confident & no insecurities
    2. if you aren't bothered by it, you're already the person you want to be, or living the life you want, at least to an extent, & even if you subconscious registers the joke, one joke wont have an impact on your image of self as you know you're doing well, & so would you subconscious mind
    3. if you do feel bad, you know what to work on if you aren't working on it as it is

In my view, there's a few important things that are lacking in people that aren't confident:
    - knowledge about their own overthinking and its primal causes
    - understanding about the uttermost triviality with which naturally confident people think in social settings
    - understanding about their advantage over others, since overthinking is just "thinking too much" and they do that flawlessly
    - real life evidence that proves to their brain that they can actually be confident

So a takeaway from the video is "aim to be the version of yourself, that is confident", right? Which is aimed at the right direction, I think, but its not quite there yet.
    My take would be:
Confidence is an experience you get, when you have competence and are aware of it.
There is no trick or perspective that will give you a fastlane. It is a consequence of competence. And competence needs time to be developed.
