I'm 31 and it's been exactly 10 years since I left the church. It was a painful experience of severance from a community a deep fear of death or hell, and a total confusion and lack of understanding of what life was about.
I wish at the time I had access to a mentor who told me these things, it would have spared me a lot of suffering. Thankfully through a long winding journey I discovered spirituality, purpose, altered states, and Buddhism. Perhaps that journey was necessary, but it would have been nice to have mentors like Ryan. All I can do now is try to be that for other young people who are looking for spiritual connection.
Now my life is so much more full, honest, and in touch with the divine than it ever was going through the motions at church.
You are not alone brother. A lot of humanity is waking up and I have no doubt that you will be able to help others transitioning out of religion and the shame/guilt that often comes along with it.
At the end of the day, love cuts through all of the BS.

Despite my current struggle with weight, I still feel physically and emotionally better than I have in my entire life. Great video bro, I was raised Catholic and I realized it wasn’t for me about 10 years ago. Unfortunately I became very judgmental of anyone who believed in any type of religion. I’ve somewhat recently switched from saying I’m an atheist to saying I’m agnostic. I haven’t stopped completely but I am working on not judging people. I definitely needed to hear that message. Thank you my friend.

Having Joy of Missing Out. JOMO. Is a superpower. My physical reality is I am not difficult to please. But when the disappointment or dissatisfaction has set in, it’s hard to pull me back. I am also going through a weight loss journey and every day I work hard on my mind body and soul. I am also grieving the life I know I missed out on by not taking my health as serious as I should have. But I also am making a new life that I can have by making changes. Watching your videos are learning, healing, teaching, and comforting. Thanks bro 🙏🏽

Often times life is giving us exactly what we need in order to learn deeper lessons that we would have missed otherwise if we had "made all the right decisions..."
At this point in life I truly believe that life is happening for us and not to us. It is either kissing us with pleasure, or teaching us profound lessons through pain.
All of it has purpose. I say this as someone who has experienced intense suffering in this life, been to very dark places, and come out the other side with clarity. The darkness is truly a gift that reveals to us, the light.

I've reached the point where you are now, that I truly know what I can do and that I'm worthy love. Whenever someone acts up I only notice their pain and never eat it.
What I find hard is that if it's a loved one and how to approach that. Whenever I approach it with love and calm It's easy to be interpreted as you look down on them because you have a calm tone and don't match their hatred. or negative energy.

I'm not quite at the same level of consciousness as you are probably because I still view some particular people as "evil" such as most of my perps. There's still a tremendous amouny of healing I need to go through, but it seems I'm on the right path since I keep catching glimpses of....something, a "light" or real hope beyond all this. I'm doing the best I can right now despite the pain.
I've recently found simple openess is the key to having new experiences for opportunities to heal. Example, as I said in a previous comment I almost dismissed your channel because I assumed and then started to retreat back into my fear and hurt. I nearly missed out on something truly incredible.
I see you brother. We're all on the same journey, be kind/gentle with yourself through the process. The ebs and flows are all apart of it.
I'm pretty good at reserving judgement of others. I'm terrible at reserving judgement of myself.
It's constant work to maintain a level of self respect and self love.
Be self adjusting… lovingly. Like you would your 5 year old son. You are still innocent on the inside and deserving of love, your inner child is still there.
If you ver off track, simply adjust back onto course. Like a car on the highway, take loving action and make adjustments without the shame and guilt, you don’t need them to get positive results…. But the ego thinks it does

Once you start looking within, looking at your own mistakes and holding yourself accountable responsible you stop judging others. You get to see what people go through, look at it from their perspective. Everyone goes through stuff and to a point their actions are understandable. People do stupid things because of what they go through
Looking at my mistakes/flaws helped me a lot, in a sense that you get to realise there's levels to it. There's one that the only person getting hurt is you and the other is you're hurting others. I always try to keep myself in check, try to avoid judging others because it lets you forget that you're flawed, it destroys your self awareness.
Religion is a very good thing if it's understood properly. I don't believe any religion is bad, I believe there are bad people in every religion and the good ones are the ones following it the right way. People say religion is holding people back but I disagree, religion is purpose and direction. We have been given free will so you can choose not to believe but if you do choose to follow religion you will realise it teaches kindness, love, compassion, righteousness and charity. It encourages us to help one another. Religion is soo spiritual on so many levels.
It all depends on what you're searching for in life and the first thing someone needs to understand is that everyone is searching for a different thing, everyone has a different perspective on everything.

If you rich they judge if you poor they judge if you look good they judge if you look bad they judge if you behave certain way they judge because judging is easy. I feel like when things are outside of my direct control then perhaps the universe is trying to tell me something. In the past whenever I had succeeded with women they made things easy. They had a lot to do with us being in love. But when you go out of your way and you try try try but it still doesn’t work out for you than this person just isn’t the “one”. Although I’m madly in love with her I’m not going to pass judgement on her.
I understand if you found the interaction with Christians to be upsetting, and I'm sorry to hear that. From my perspective, I believe that Paul had a valid point. When Jesus said "I AM" in John 8:58, it does indicate that he is God. I hope this helps to clarify things from my point of view.

It seems you’ve never read the Book of Revelation. If you believe in the words of Jesus then you would believe in the words written in the Bible.
You cannot look to mankind to discern Jesus’ Character, but you can look to the Bible.
Men need to focus on themselves. Not on women, not on friends, not on a “God” who lets them suffer, not on family. Themselves. Make some money and enjoy yourself the best you can for the time you are here. You come into the world alone and leave it alone, the idea you need anything more than you has been intentionally instilled in you by Hollywood and society.

The only thing I want to buy is a family, friends and people who actually care about me. I've been on vacation for 6 years and I can't express to you, how boring it really is.
Those things are fine... but if/when you acquire them you will quickly realize they are not the answer. Some people need to find that out for themselves (I was one of them). God as a concept rarely works... but if you have some objective experiences with God it changes your entire perception of existence itself. That can't be forced or packaged... religion tries though.

If you believe in the dogma that Christianity teaches and act so, you're a Christian. Otherwise, you can't call yourself a Christian

To be a Christian and to accept Christ means to repent of your sins and follow him. To live a life after him. The majority of Chrisitans understand this and in fact most Christianny today is the opposite of what you said. It's watered down.
