"if there's a part of you that's pushing you away from the work -- rediscover the part within you that's going to push you back" -- I needed this tonight, thank you.
I heard a saying that goes like “don’t force yourself to get into something, but find something you’re so obsessed with that you have a hard time putting it down”. This won’t apply to everyone but it’s an interesting quote. Thank you for reminding me man, your videos are very inspiring! Edit: Dang thanks for all the likes btw!!
My first answer to doing something is always a no. A lot of people are wanting food, comfort only. And loving something doesn’t mean you love the process
As I've been struggling for soooo long trying to figure out what to do with my life and ending up with work resistance as a result of me being so hard on myself to get into doing certain stuff and reading this now I'm literally crying, but thank you sooo much. ❤
Only realised recently why I was feeling so bitter and empty, because I wasn’t acting on the curiosity and ideas my brain feeds me. Past 3 years I followed others advice for my career. To do business, to get marketing skills. But I am only becoming more and more angry at the world. I think it’s because I’m not expressing my self through music.
As someone who is pursuing music because it’s their passion and is only looking into business and marketing now - those experiences certainly weren’t in vain they will serve you very well. All the best on your adventure! 😊
Same. I’ve been following the “realistic” path that everyone says is smart but I’ve grown so bitter, sad, and angry. I don’t want to be an angry person. I’m starting to focus again on my creative endeavors…that one thing that it always comes back to.
After 30 years of not knowing what to do with my life, having ADHD, longing to create, but never having the ability to focus on one thing, I finally figured it out. I’ve always been drawn to music, but too afraid to fail. 10 months ago, after finding out I was going to be a dad, I bought a cheap guitar, and instantly fell in love. Something has changed in my brain. I am obsessed with my art, and can’t stop writing songs. This last year has been so beautiful, especially the little moments when I get to play my music outside with my sweet baby girl singing along ❤
wow this sounds so beautiful, it defiantly sounds like music is meant for your soul. I'm so glad it found you, keep writing and having that magic in your life
Life is about 80% suffering, 15% stagnation, 4% emptiness and 1% potential for greatness if you are willing to sacrifice everything. Don't listen to that prick.
That's a nothing sentence. Nothing they said was deep or profound or anything really. It's really just a matter of how much of your sanity you are willing to sacrifice. Sell your soul to the devil.
i used to love drawing when i was younger, but once I started going with a media that was most popular (anime/manga style) i started hating to draw, and do commissions. I came back 5 years later missing my creativity, and now im drawing semi realism again, crocheting, and playing with clay and im loving it. It really takes a different mindset of what you want to come out of your craft. edit: i want to also add that i completely dont have social media on my phone, so i dont see it on the daily, which is why im able to step away from those high expectations.
@ jolenepham Same here, after all these years I want to get back into my creative passions. I used to draw, write, and paint. I miss it it all. Now I’m starting to get back that feeling I had before, and wish I never stopped doing art years ago.
@@jolenepham I was in the same situation for 8 years. I always loved drawing and writing but once I started scrolling thru art content/social media, I suffered w/perfectionism and it stunted my growth for a while. I’m getting back on track and lately I’ve been limiting my internet consumption, spending time outdoors just focusing on the present. I’ve also been trying new things(hobbies, traveling, new experiences)which ignited my creativity again. Taking care of your health and mental well-being is important as well.
I've noticed it. When you suddenly write the plot twist that even you didn't know about, the surprise, the excitement, the happiness... it's a great experience. You made me realize that not everyone gets to feel what I've felt. Artists are truly blessed. ❤
Well, Honestly we all know how the inspiration is not the best way to get over it... But I'm in the work and instead of just let time happen almost when My turn it's done I listen a little bit this kind of stuff and put all my energy on what I really want to, because we all as humans wants to go to the top of the hill yes that's true... Sometimes not all of us have the chance so, a little push maybe is what someone out there need. (BUT JUST GETTING MOTIVATED AND DOING NOTHING IS USELESS!!). Love att: Hazard.
mainstream advice on discipline is often overhyped. The best investment you can make is in yourself. Bruce Thornwood's "Unveiling Your Hidden Potential" helped me develop discipline and set my mindset apart from the rest
Thank you so much for this support!! It means a lot to me and I thank you for expressing this, I love that I'm able to make mission oriented content that so many others resonate with, God Bless
I suppress it at night. Every night around 9 pm..... the magical ideas come into my field of awareness..... and I say, go to bed.... we will do it in the morning..... I inspiration is gone by morning. I can't even recall the idea. I waste the gift
yessss I resonate a lot, this too happens to me. What I try to do is journal and write down the things I am feeling in the night so at least I can act on something material in the morning. It will still be a challenge to act w will power but there's no obstacle around that. It just is and we have to confront it, but that only means it is our destiny to finally overcome it
i have a friend in a different time zone i share story ideas with. as ideas pop into my head in bed or in the evenings when im too busy to act on it i try to either send him or if completely bizzarre or unfinished or i dont want to bother him with the third idea in a night. I send a message to myself. Then i wake up in the morning with feedback or extra great ideas to act on in the morning full of coffee
@mialynnrivera3700 it's like..... "okay! It's Sunday night 🌙 at 930pm and I gotta be up for work or school early, but...... I'm in the mood to clean my room now. " Why does it hit like that. I should just embrace it and lean into it a little. A little, becomes 2 to 3 am. On a weeknight. Im getting older, man
Being able to enjoy the work that you do is invaluable. At some point, it doesn't even feel like work. Today, I began editing videos for the apprenticeship I just started and had a great time. And I'm always eager to go back the next day. When I got home, I sketched out a whole one-page comic that I was really happy with. Previously, it would take me a few days, because I get distracted easily. I'll be finishing that up and inking it later tomorrow.
That's awesome. I also started editing videos for businesses recently as I'm starting my videography freelancing. It was a lot of fun and didn't feel like work. I enjoyed it and so it went by quickly. Was a huge gratitude check for me. Best of luck w all the work, enjoy!!
This is probably THE MOST insightful, helpful and compelling artistic inspiration videos I have ever seen. You’re so calm yet everything you say has a motivational weight to it and it really spoke to me on a deep level and made me want to commit to the lifestyle of creativity I feel I’ve lost in recent years. Thank you so much for this, I’m so excited to put what you said to practice and get back to my creative pursuits! “Creativity is a way of life” has to be one of my favorite quotes ever ❤
WOW THANK YOU! Warms my heart that this video worked so well for you on those levels. I really appreciate you expressing all of this. Couldn't be happier that the content resonates and helps, I hope you do incredible with your projects, you will. Go work on them, do what feels right, live out your creativity. It's a day to day thing, but remember we should make it enjoyable. Take care! DREAM ON
Truly building a genuine relationship with our chosen craft is something that's been on my mind lately. And I completely agree it begins with romanticizing the process. Even if that means taking it slow at first, such that we can ensure we're having fun and become increasingly committed for the epic adventure ahead. All about cultivating that creative spirit! Thank you for your work and message 🙌
Such lovely words! Thank you for the support. It's a huge adventure ahead like you're saying. Just like a videogame, love the process and what's happening and what is to come. It's a beautifully written story we're experiencing. We deserve to have fun, and we should
i recently picked up crocheting on a whim and i'm so glad i did. i've been going through a tough time lately. i've been having a lot of negative and destructive thoughts mostly from trauma. your video made me realize something. loving the process of creation can help heal your soul too. i don't want to dwell in the past anymore and think about all the "what ifs" and "if onlys". crocheting makes me look towards the future. creating makes me want to keep going. thank you for this video.
wow, this is touching, art is certainly therapy because you are working with your soul and discovering beautiful truths in beautiful ways and the truth will set you free, so yes it is very healing. I wish you the very best, God Bless and DREAM ON
I'm an orphan since 8 years old, since then i have become a big quitter. Im sensitive, i feel everything, pain and love, Justice and injustice and I'm always afraid. So i decide to study laws. My friends an teacher's told me that I'm good and that i could be a good lawyer, but a loss confidence in myself very easy. The town that i live is full o corruption, cartels, and elite comfort, so the process to become a good lawyer took me to a battle with my city, i don want power, money, womens or Fame, so i don't have ambition to be corrupted in order to get all those subjects. So whats the point to become a lawyer? If i do this with passion eventually will take to defend a cause that probably would kill me because the corruption that soround me. Thats my battle. Im working on a Thesis on eclesiastic rights of believers against emotional manipulation by religious association, but I'm stuck in te process and I feel I'm losing time, my mind, my body, I miss my parents even when i just barely remember their face, and although i have mis brother's than love me, im feeling lonely against the world and that I'm disappointing them.
sometimes my friends remark on my ability to pick things up quickly and ferociously. It's just love, that's all you need for it. Have fun, find your sincere love and interest within anything you want to do and it'll mold in your hands like clay.
one of the main thigs to getting this, by experience, I,d say its dicipline, I love to draw, but never really did it like I wanted to, and everyday I said to myself that I would draw everyday even when I didnt feel like it, I wasnt doing anything anyway, and everyday I starded putting more and more hours, I started seeing what I didnt had for procastinating so much, started having fun with it, starded to be happy to see progress, all because I drew even when I didnt want, now I draw 6+ hours a day, easily, and I love, I love it so much I could give anything to be at I am right now, what i was a month ago is already too far behind I dont even feel bad for starting early, that the point I fell into, is better to be doing late, than never doing it, hope it helps someone to understand that, it took me a long time to actually put that inside my head.
yes there is such a power in doing something repeatedly over time wen you feel that's the best thing to do. Discipline is necessary always in some form
The timing of this video is uncanny. For so long, I struggled to enjoy my art and work because I didn't allow enough stillness or always looking for some external object to make it better. But romanticizing the process, the idea of it seemed so silly to me. But it was freeing for me. Thank you for this video.
This was therapy. Thank you for putting into words how beautiful it is to create. Art is so amazingly beautiful and complex because it means something different to each artist. It must be celebrated for its uniqueness. You just made me ponder, man!!
EXACTLY YESS< so happy you felt that! Art truly is an incredible amazing delicacy, a wonder of a practice. Things are possible through creating and experiencing art that you can't put into words, consider it a gift that you get to create it. Best of luck, God Bless!
Looking at the comment section and finding out that you've replied to most of the comments earned respect for you in my heart as a creator. I really appreciate your efforts. Wishing you great success in future! Take care of yourself, and if you get to read this comment, drop a smile for this stranger, and let me know if you did, it'll make me happy that i made somebody smile.
Man comes out of nowhere, spits the meaning of life, facts about art and creativity in general like he's ascended and leaves encouraging us to enjoy the process. What a legend
Don't take the environment for granted. I personally simply cannot seem to focus on writing or reading when Im at home, I go out to a spot on my local city park, or a nice cafe to do so. It makes the act of consuming or creating just more fun. Something else that Im passionate about is working out, simple calisthenics, but doing it at home is just a pain. But when you hop on your bike, and reach that familiar trail in the woods, or that gorgeous path at the park... It just hits different
I stopped this video midway to write in my journal: “Fun is a signal/indicator that what you are doing fuels you; that you are receiving more energy than you are using.” Thank you for inspiring that insight. ❤️
I- I watched this whole video, like 3 times, because I just can't keep my concentration fixated over something for a long time. It is not that I have a disorder or something but I get distracted very easily 😅. This video of yours just randomly popped up and I just watched it whole, as normally as I watch other videos, but then I felt like there was something that resonated in the video that I wanted to hear again. After watching it, I realized this has been one of the best videos that helped me remember what I was missing in my life. It is that, "you need to have fun and you need to have inspiration". It was really never about the resources or anything else. It has always been about falling in love with what I always wanted to do. Thank you so much for reminding me about all this. 🙏✨️
Im glad this spoke to you! The magic you find is the key. It is showing you the way and it's your soul trying to help you navigate. If there's something you feel called towards, then I recommend you pursue it and toss the other superficial distractions to the side. This is much more important. Have fun and DREAM ON
Thought I'd add my story here. Your video came to me on this day where I started drawing twice today after months of having the thoughts that it's stupid or that it's pointless. Today I drew and I felt more at peace and so much calmer than I have in so many months it's ridiculous. And you're absolutely correct when I was drawing things like squares or the basic shapes to build on I hated it My spirit wasn't there I was grinding. But when I just truly expressed myself today It was magical The time there wasn't any time. Ask me what time it is and I would say it was now. So your video comes at a time of growth for me of change It's a universal message to me and everyone else who has watched this video. For me that message is listen to my heart listen to my instinct on what I should draw and when I should draw. And to stick with it no matter what. This has been the best day in months for me and all it took was a little drawing.
wow powerful stuff, so happy this video helped u in any way. its so clear that you are already very in tune with the truth of what youre experiencing. Keep going, do what feels right. Best of luck with your work. Your creative spirit is talking to you and now you need to keep the momentum. Keep communicating and drawing. DREAM ON
I feel like this kind of content helps a lot, i sleep half of the day and i scroll through the internet the other half of the day and this video made me question myself “what am i doing with my life?” Is that the life i want? And it reminded me all the things i used to do years ago and when i was obsessed with reading books but now i stopped. Idk this video made me realize that im wasting my time so much while i can do so many other things i like and i decided to stop being addicted on this phone and be addicted to other things i love (books, writing, walking etc) idk if it makes any sense but yea. I hope i will be able to do it
yes I know what you mean, our souls want to experience which is a very good thing but we can use things like the phone to fill that, but it actually doesn't fulfill our souls, though it may seem like it. Return to what you're talking about. Instead of grabbing your phone, grab a book, spend more time outside. Get back into activities. Get quiet and listen to what your soul wants you to do
I will be watching this video every morning for 30 days. This is exactly the life I want to live. I want to be reminded daily so I can work on reducing my bad habits/addictions and enforcing good habits. Thank you for this beautiful video.
I'm 35 now, and have been lost in this never ending spiral of denial and regret of doing what I love to do. I hope some day I'll find my way, my destiny. Thanks for your video, it was very inspiring.
I agree with falling in love with the process! Nothing better than that! What I struggle with personally is frustrations that come in between. Does anyone ever feel frustrated by realizing you fail to bring forward the ideas you have? Like, not having the skill-level yet to achieve your vision. Failing over and over. I think this is the trickiest part in the journey. To love the practice first! To have patience and be consistent and knowing when you are "not quite there yet, but progressing (progress can feel stagnant even when it isn´t)" and also knowing when you in fact ARE ready to share your work and move on to the next idea.
I believe every idea is meant to hit us at the time that it does so there is something to be acted upon those ideas, or else they wouldn't be coming to you. They are all leading us to the places we are meant to go, God Bless and DREAM ON
I really like how you talk about the creative spirit almost as if it is a separate entity. Because it kind of feels like that. Like the overthinking "you" has to step aside to allow the creative "you" to appear and enter into the flow state. Really cool video! I subscribed
Thank you so much for this video. Right when I saw the title, I’m like “this dude has it figured out.” And after watching, I gotta say, you do. I’ve been stuck in a fatigue phase in my creative pursuit for a year, and it’s been damaging my mental health in a bad way, leading to me digging through existential, philosophical rabbit holes. Deep down in my heart, I know I only waste time and energy, I won’t get any meaningful growth out of these exercise in futility. However, your work shines a light on an enticing path, a new perspective to view my craft. Heartfelt thanks to you 🙏🏻
The 'not having expensive/big budget things so I can't do the thing' deals in emotions What do the equipment/people you work with/all the things you've have if you were rich/had these resources GIVE you? EMOTION. You feel good because you don't have to worry about money or because you got the status bump (either in your eyes or others) or you have some misconceptions about needing x equipment or y equipment or you're easily distracted/can't stay focused (ADHD, trauma, other) so you think these things will help you. Pro tip: You can emulate these feelings without you needing to break the bank or waste time and effort with these other things. Most humans run on 'interest'. You are less likely to be inspired to walk down the block for no reason, but 100% likely to walk down the block if there's a car crash or your friend lives there and they have a dog or some other interest-drawing thing. Like, most people hate their job. And most will probably notice that they absolutely drag a*s going INTO work, but are light af (probably with relief) to LEAVE. Interest. You want to do x thing? Learn y skill? Finish z project? Find out what's stopping you. Is it your internal negative thoughts? Is it a time issue? Is it because you can't 'seem to focus on anything' because you have some undiagnosed or even unrealized issue (ADHD, etc)? Figure out what is stopping you, get help for it. If therapy or doctors or drugs are too expensive, find the next best (healthy) alternative. Meditation, journalling, self-improvement. Research and deep dive into what you think you might be suffering from (depression, ADHD, autistic burnout, anxiety, OCD, etc), and experiment with behavioral and other types of fixes. If it works, keep going. If you have emotional blocks or whatever surrounding doing a thing that's getting in between you and your goal (learning that skill, etc), figure out why the block exists. Is it negative association? Is it because you find it boring? Figure out those things as well and how to get around them. There are ways to achieve what you want and it usually boils down to 'knowing yourself' and 'knowing your limits'. Like, don't cheat yourself or let your negative/depression/low self esteem thoughts convince you you can't do a thing. Learn and be patient with yourself. Being a d*ck to yourself does not spark joy
I love the amount of thought you have put in this and into yourself. Coming to know yourself is essential for any kind of long term productivity, or else you don't have a strong foundation for true self reflecting change and progress
Hi man, your video touched me because it made me realize that I have romanticized my writing of music, poems, verses, words, rhymes; thoughts. Back then, even feeding myself didn't give me an ounce of pleasure, and I wrote only to express myself, to free myself, to escape; I was severely depressed, dangerously alone. “Writing poetry can help untangle and organize your thoughts and feelings,” Hamilton said. I can say without a doubt that it saved my life on many occasions. But that's because I wrote every chance I got, and when I didn't have it too. You've made me realize how effortlessly this addiction has taken hold and that it's often a more serious priority than sleep and food for me now. I now need to achieve the same result with software-based music production as soon as possible. I'd also like to change my habit of writing on my notepad and write in a notebook instead. Same logic as going outside to work ^^ Thanks for the reminder, and keep doing you P.s: even when you're producing on your laptop, still you can try to work outside. I've already done it on a roof in summer with a few extension cords xD
Wow that's amazing to hear all about your process and Im happy you found a way to free your soul through your craft. Best of wishes to your work and thank u for the tip about using laptop outside! rooftop sounds super cool
I loved this video! You have helped me more than 100's of videos I saw online. Being a musician myself, I could connect more to this video. Thanks man!
Thank you for this awesome wisdom. A long time ago I watched this video, but the title escaped me. It's awful trying to remember a video that hits home for me amidst a wave of creativity videos, during a time when the search or the algorithm isn't in your favor. Now that I have saved your video , I'm back on track writing my novel.
wow, bless your work, im happy you found all those different concentrations, awesome to hear your spirit has been able to play in those different areas, best of luck with the rest of your work!
Thx, I hadn't forgotten why I chose my career but I wasn't applying it, it was just a mere answer for whenever someone wondered why I do what I do, somewhere down the line in college I just forgot that thrill, I think it was during the pandemic... Gotta wake up everyday picturing that idea. Again, thank you
yes bro, everyday is a blessing and to live it chasing our dreams is something we shouldn't ignore, it's a beautiful opportunity. I wish you best with this magic, God Bless and DREAM ON
People overly focused on my talent as a child, tried to control it, critiqued me constantly (even though they didn't know what they were talking about), beat it into my head that nothing I write has value unless I can make money off of it, etc etc... and idk when the change happened but I became suffocated and now I have an extreme fear of writing. It's like debilitating writer's block. I need help with that specific problem and I can't find that help.
I have been doing programming for 3 - 4 years now, and I love doing game developement. However, whenever I try to get into it these last 2 - 3 years, it is like I'm lacking passion, I immediately feel burned out, bored or stressed with it, and I just stop trying to do it. I wish I knew what was bothering my soul, because I really want to improve at games and I want to make more games, but its just like a higher force propelling me to not do anything.
I find it's forcing myself to rest and do other things to come back fresh. Sometimes the passion drives you so much and is so exciting....I've exhausted myself. This time around - as boring as I once found it...I'm aiming for Balance. It's a marathon not a race. And yeah having fun and not giving a damn! Divine inspiration usually comes when I'm not working ❤
I don't usually comment on RUclips but I really want to thank you for this video. I feel like your video came just right when I need it. Really appreciate how you view things and put them into words that truly speak to my creative self. I already subscribed and saved this video in case I need it in the future. Keep up with your amazing work. Have an amazing one wherever you are. Once again, thank you a lot.
WOw this comment really touched me, thank you so much for expressing that. It's truly a blessing to be able to make the videos I make and be able to help people everywhere in any possible way. Im so happy youre here and a part of the community. We all need to help each other and live lives we enjoy and where were doing the things we love. Thank you for the support, I wish you an incredible week. God Bless
great message. I've been here before and you're exactly right on. I'm making "Romanticize" my new theme. I need to fall in love with it again :) Thanks for the reminder.
for the past decade, if I'm feeling any of the negative feelings you mention I just put on a Jon Bellion behind the scenes. The exact videos you pull from. This film is a beautiful truth!
Right now, I’m in my burn out period with music. I still to this day don’t know if I enjoy the process enough to make it a career. This video is a really great stepping stone for me to go back into it. Maybe it’s my passion, or maybe it’s probably something similar to that. Either way, we all gotta figure it out
That is the kind of content I enjoy watching. It has some kind of truth and poetry vibe. Great storytelling! It really speaks with me. I could watch hours of this. Thanks for the content! I wish you the best!
this comment means so much, so great to see that my natural style of content works so well for people like you. I will continue to make these videos, thank you again! DREAM ON
Love this message, man. I haven’t painted in just over a year, and I recently thought of starting again. I remember the fire and excitement I had for it. I had plans to make prints and sell my art at local markets and events. I think I stopped because I felt imposter syndrome. It felt stupid calling myself an artist when I compared my paintings to art by my favorite painters. But lately I’ve had several people out of the blue ask me “do you still paint?” Which got me thinking about how I used to love it. And I want that feeling back so bad.
I feel the same way. I feel like a beginner at best. But if we don't practice how will we ever get better? And we shouldn't compare ourselves to other painters. I'm critical on myself as well. Hope this is helpful.
Enjoying the process is something I’ve heard a lot. But I’ve never seen someone talk about it in the way you did. Everything you said spoke deeply to my soul. Thank you for creating this incredible video. Your editing and writing is so good!
Nowadays I can't even play videogames without long preparation to play...😅😢 Though I finally switched to activity that is both entertaining and valuable. Checked this video just to confirm it's true. Just find what something that you'd love to do or at least find something entertaining in your current occupation/activity that's really life-changing
yessss, you really notice how it changes your life day to day, its something to look forward to, a true hobby but something with more meaning and impact
My goodness! Just happened upon this young man and stopped because he reminded me of my son. Stayed and found wonder in his wisdom. Yes, young sir, yes to all of this. And thank you. Stay true to yourself. That is the greatest gift you can give the world.
I like what u saying here, shout out Rick Rubin. My mother was a drawing teacher. She told me I need to be strict with drawing..my best drawings are when i was not aware of any rules just get the moment!
You sir, are ideal. Perfect mix of spirituality and modernity, who said they can't go hand in hand? Beautiful, easy to follow and understand. Thanks a bunch.
The biggest takeaway for me was: Let the silence be. As a kid, I was super creative, I had some crazy ideas and I had them often. I often wondered what happened... This makes perfect sense coz when I was younger, I didn't have a phone, I marinated in that silence until I was saturated with ideas! Now that I think about it, even the ideas I get now, have come from that silence. When my mind is given free reign to just think and not bombarded with podcasts, music etc whenever I'm doing literally any task.
You perfectly described how i feel about making music. Thank you for that but seriously guys, hes right this shit is game changing. I have to convince myself to NOT play music and to instead play games with friends.
"if there's a part of you that's pushing you away from the work -- rediscover the part within you that's going to push you back" -- I needed this tonight, thank you.
THIS, THIS EXACT COMMENT HELPED ME ALOT, thanks man
Absolutely 💯 And thanks to you too for putting this down here , in the comment section!
5 years I haven’t drawn
I heard a saying that goes like “don’t force yourself to get into something, but find something you’re so obsessed with that you have a hard time putting it down”. This won’t apply to everyone but it’s an interesting quote. Thank you for reminding me man, your videos are very inspiring!

that sounds great, glad they help you man! love that saying
Damn that means I shouldn't put down my drugs

The soul knows no age
Life is 99% process 1% success. Love your life love your process.
Life is about 80% suffering, 15% stagnation, 4% emptiness and 1% potential for greatness if you are willing to sacrifice everything. Don't listen to that prick.
"You don't have to create it, all you have to do is receive it." You're a good writer.
Thank you man, appreciate that!
It's so great that we have all this time to figure out things like this! I'm so happy for you that you're enjoying your craft again.

wow way to waste your money. prick hasn't said anything of value

Thank you for your work and message 🙌

i recently picked up crocheting on a whim and i'm so glad i did. i've been going through a tough time lately. i've been having a lot of negative and destructive thoughts mostly from trauma. your video made me realize something. loving the process of creation can help heal your soul too. i don't want to dwell in the past anymore and think about all the "what ifs" and "if onlys". crocheting makes me look towards the future. creating makes me want to keep going. thank you for this video.

sometimes my friends remark on my ability to pick things up quickly and ferociously.

This video is much better than any motivation book about how to be cool and rich and happy. This video is pure happiness

Brilliant recommendations. Nature and beginning from within are so key to romanticizing the process. Thanks for making and sharing this.
Yes exactly, im so happy you resonate, God Bless

Heartfelt thanks to you 🙏🏻
The 'not having expensive/big budget things so I can't do the thing' deals in emotions
What do the equipment/people you work with/all the things you've have if you were rich/had these resources GIVE you?
Same logic as going outside to work ^^
Thanks for the reminder, and keep doing you
P.s: even when you're producing on your laptop, still you can try to work outside. I've already done it on a roof in summer with a few extension cords xD

You can still do it it’s not over!!!
I feel the same way. I feel like a beginner at best. But if we don't practice how will we ever get better? And we shouldn't compare ourselves to other painters. I'm critical on myself as well. Hope this is helpful.
Thank you, man. I needed to watch this.
So happy it found you, God Bless
I’m so glad someone can express and talk about it on this level bcuz this stuff really is deep !! Beautiful video. I’m subscribing

Enjoying the process is something I’ve heard a lot. But I’ve never seen someone talk about it in the way you did. Everything you said spoke deeply to my soul. Thank you for creating this incredible video. Your editing and writing is so good!
The title and cover photo got me. The content made me stay. 10/10 ! 🫡
Just a absolutely perfect piece content my friend!!!! Thank you so much for that master piece!!!

Happy the video found ya!
Man I needed this.
This is exactly what we all need, to make things from our hearts, to lean into our inspirations. Beautiful production!
Nowadays I can't even play videogames without long preparation to play...😅😢
Though I finally switched to activity that is both entertaining and valuable.
Wow thank you so much for this, very touching. I appreciate the words, tell your son he's very handsome and I wish you the very best, God Bless
God, I hate the inspirational video aesthetic and sound design so much!
I like what u saying here, shout out Rick Rubin.
My mother was a drawing teacher.
She told me I need to be strict with drawing..my best drawings are when i was not aware of any rules just get the moment!
Yes Love Rick Rubin! Sounds like a great way to create :)
You sir, are ideal. Perfect mix of spirituality and modernity, who said they can't go hand in hand? Beautiful, easy to follow and understand. Thanks a bunch.
very kind words, I really appreciate that. Thank you for the support, happy the message resonated :)
The biggest takeaway for me was:
Let the silence be.
Same here😢
You perfectly described how i feel about making music. Thank you for that but seriously guys, hes right this shit is game changing. I have to convince myself to NOT play music and to instead play games with friends.

yessss, I resonate deeply, happy to read this and hear from you somewhere else on earth, keep going, best of luck
