@intuitivewisdomtoday Thank you for your message. You are welcome to drop us an email (hello@reflectionsof.life) and we can chat more :). Sending warmest wishes, Justine and Michael 💚
Thank you very much for the video. Me too im very different from my 25 y o self. Then life it was only about materials. Now watching my son growing up i understood many and i will share with you. It is a fact that we all came from one cell half of it was in our father and half in our mother. This cell after united didn't just multiply every cell had a unique purpose although same with all the others. Had a purpose and a map where it should go and what should do...its role. Our cells are us and we are these cells. Never forget that. These cells are robots and yet we are not and that's a miracle. We can't just go around eat bullshit food and expect we will travel for long free of health problems. Our cells need good quality food. The opposite of what you find in supermarkets. Try to eat as primal as it can be. Big corporations want you weak and dependent on them and the system they created. Money and power belong to them. You try to get different and they will smash you. But its the only way if you want to be unique and that miracle. Yes i believe in God. Its the only explanation. You can call God: aliens... Its the same thing. We are not evolved. Somebody is responsible for our existence. Is your duty everybody's duty to find that someone!
I am 41 and at 34, after my daughter was born i started to change. Things failed to bring me joy like before (not even motorbikes) and became minimalist, spend days without buying even an espresso and feel joy and peace in the presence of my family and few friends and the contentment of having enough. I no longer have material goals, don't care about clothes, cars, social status. Just find peace and happiness in simple tasks like cooking, smiling, feeling the sun in my skin or the voice of my little daughter. I understand him. I am not particularly religious but i have found something, something you can't touch or describe but a 20y old me would never understand.
I am currently in a deep, deep depression, as well as very addicted to a substance + cigarettes. This film came at exactly the right moment, as today is especially dark, and I wish I could need less and be free of a addictions, and be content with what I have. I want to be able again to simply enjoy the sunlight, or a book, without always needing smoking something. I want to live joyfully again, these reflection of life videos really make a change in my perception, it warms my heart and inspires me so much. One day I will be free. All the best to Theo, such a warm and beautiful person.
...all the best to the warm and beautiful human being you are! I feel your longing to come to peace and freedom. May all open up to you so that you can blossom ! Love. Melissa
The joy of not wanting things is great. Being happy with little; a good cup of coffee in the morning, sun on my face, a walk in nature, reading a good book. A simple life to me is the answer for a happy life.
True, but you don't have to move away to a remote shanty somewhere to find peace and joy. It actually can cost a great deal of money to do what some minimalists do. Most of us have to work, but we don't need the best house, car, or clothes. True joy is found in Jesus. 'The joy of the Lord is our strength.'
actually , no one needs luck on their Soul path , because its just an illusion of the lower mind ( intellect ) but Courage , Bravery , sensitivity , Openness of spirit , Empathy , Compassion , Determination , Diligence , Grace , discernment , Awareness , mindfulness , etc.....and INTEGRITY ! none of those Soul qualities come from luck ....but from inner transformations .
Great, wonderful...a speech to my heart. 65, divorced, no kids and proudly retired. Since 2005, following a burn-out, living in a small, quite, welcoming village of the mountains in Cusco, Peru. Best choice in my life, simple, close, wonderful relationship with nature and my self !! Enjoy the present, be grateful and trust the BIG BOSS.
Wonderful! We are so glad this video resonated so deeply with you. Keep enjoying the present and the simple lifestyle. Sending much love from South Africa. Justine and Michael. 💚
@@ReflectionsofLife I have enjoyed your videos and in many cases it is like watching into a mirror. Thanks from the heart... I hope soon to be able to collaborate with this your great work !
Wow. I'm so moved by this man's wisdom and insight about why he's doing what he's doing. It's not about telling other people they're wrong, it's about refusing to comply with systems and environments that demand obedience and compliance. This is elegance at its finest.
I think it changes your entire structure. It makes your body lighter, it straightens your spine, focuses your eyes, and tunes your hearing. Joy wears you.
When my son was 30, he left home to travel the world. Eleven years later, he is still doing it! When he used to do his yearly visit, I would weep, saying good bye was hard as I felt he was like a feather, floating around. During a visit, as we were getting ready to say good bye, I stared a his only peace of luggage, a wave of admiration and respect flooded my being. Like this man, at age 30, he had gained the freedom I would never be able to gain, at least in this life time!
Learn from your son and unlearn what you've learned. I hope you may find your freedom and peace. It's not about traveling or being a minimalist. It's their journey. You have yours. Your life has meaning. Good luck.
@@Tablahands I wouldn't want to learn anything at all from that man. It is instantly clear that he is addicted to traveling. It is often part of the age stage of discovering the world. I personally think he is behind in developing as an adult. There does not appear to be any deep relationships mentioned. No partner or children. I realise this mother has been influenced by his so-called freedom, but most mothers are always very sad if their kids only pop in once a year. Even more painful is not having grandchildren. A lof of mothers find a new daughter. My partner's mother and I were incredibly close. The South African man on this film emphasized very strongly that he wouldn't be a minimalist if he had a wife or children. In fact he said it would be irresponsible. I am never inspired by people who are self-focused, cruel, and basically havd trouble growing up. The man is also adding to significant environmental damage. A lot for just one person. I hope the mother finds other peopld in her life who can be a substitute son, a substitute daughter, and substitute grandchildren so she can love, teach, share, feel connected and be loved.
@@TablahandsI also hope this mother finds peace regarding her son who floats in and once a year. It seems he owns very little and has no deep relationships. If I met a man who was as immature and disconnected, addicted to seeing new things and had almost no time for his mother... I would run a mile. I wouldn't be interested jn someone sk hooked on personal pleasure. That's me. I guess he would need a different outlook if he was going to have a deep relationship.
This journey into minimalism highlights a profound relationship between joy and liberation from material possessions. It's inspiring to see how joy is equated with a carefree, almost childlike spirit, suggesting that true happiness often comes from within rather than from external acquisitions. Embracing a minimalist lifestyle not only declutters physical space but also clears the mind, allowing for a more joyful existence.
The most beautiful video I’ve ever watched. Most of the videos on RUclips are superficial, feast or famine with diet, makeup, facelifts, etc. but this man has the most simple & pleasant way of living, speaking, etc… I’m constantly praying for contentment & discernment. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful life
We're so glad to know that this story resonated so strongly with you. Thanks for appreciating all that Theo shared. We send you warmest wishes. Justine and Michael.
Everyone should be their authentic self, live in Peace, follow their calling, whatever that may be. He is a beautiful soul living his life that brings him joy. Thank you for a wonderful message ❤
You unearth the most beautiful souls that walk this Earth. You are incredible film makers and story tellers. I always come away from watching your content with a deeper understanding of life and people. Thank you so much x
isn't it the truth? discovered RoL (used to be GR) a few years ago, devoured all of their stories. you guys (and those whom you interview) are blessings and inspirations to remind me that i am on the right path...after all...
I had a high paying position in NYC that afforded me a house in the country and a financially elevated lifestyle and I was MISERABLE. I decided all I really needed to be happy was my harp, a bed and a desk. I moved to San Francisco with just that (along with my clothes and a vacuum cleaner). I’ve been delighted with my life every day since.
I liked the comment that you were running away from who you were, but also realised that you were equally also running towards something. I am 67 and, of late, reflected on the fact that who I was, as a child, has become hidden and smothered. I am slowly working my way back to finding and being that simple, little, free boy again. I have gone back to find myself.
Wonderful that his words meant much to you. Wishing you all the best for your own journey to find yourself again. Sending you warmest of hugs, Justine and Michael. 💚
Yes like me too. The thing that springs to mind though is that we/most of us cant follow this path as we have dependents and or mortgages, elderly parents, many have family with mental health problems, people who depend on us to provide for, put through school etc. Maybe one day for me but I'm 60 now though and barely keeping my head above water. All the best
This is actually one of the most humane and human expressions I have ever seen. We have forgotten how to be. It isn’t gone, but we have forgotten. Truth, magic and wonder. He is lucky to remember and live in that kind of consciousness.
Thank you for seeing so much value in all that Theo shared with us, and for allowing his experiences to serve as a reminder for what truly matters in life. 💚
Im 29 years old and never thought I would ever suffer from depression. I've known it for a long time but didn't want to admit it to myself, now I know it. I will take sick leave for a long time and take care of my health and hope that one day I can feel happiness again. Wish you all the best and thank you for this wonderful film.
Thank you for sharing, we are sorry that you are struggling at this time. Wishing you strength to turn things around, don't lose hope. Sending much love and kindness to you. Justine and Michael. 💚
I was in the same place most of my life...Corrie ten Boom says: If we look to the world, we will be distressed; If we look within, we will be depressed; If we look to Jesus Christ, we will be at rest. Bless you...
I was depressed a lot during my 20''s. I was sensitive, and this is a rather harsh, absurd world. Spiritual teachers taught me where happiness is. It is within oneself. The wisdom of people who had truths "saved" me, and I am thankful that I was and am receptive to what they have to say. Vernon Howard's "The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power" and Paul Brunton's "The Secret Path" changed my life. And I live by Henry Miller's words: "The man who takes himself seriously is doomed". It is not easy being human, and the world is not yet civilized. But at 78, I find the journey interesting, more interesting all the time, and, in solitude in rural living, I find beauty in nature and joy in the companionship of animals. I am eternally grateful to Teachers who show the way. Blessings, and you will succeed in your journey.
Good luck on your recovery journey! You've got this! And even though we never met, I love you so much! Accept the darkness, it's neccessary, it will show you the light.😊
Yeah this speaks to me. I used to work in the games industry, it was my passion, and then I suffered a breakdown. I downshifted and found myself again on a spiritual path, and things started to drop away from me, I stopped playing games, stopped watching tv, stopped paying attention to the news. My life became sparse, minimalist, meditative. Beautiful video, thanks for making it!
Lovely that Theo's message spoke to you so deeply. Wonderful that you were able to find a content and happy way of living after the breakdown. Wishing you all the best further for life's journey. Much love, Justine and Michael. 💚
@@ReflectionsofLife I’m so glad to have found your channel - so life affirming, each video is like a meditation! Very much connected to nature too. You guys do wonderful work. 🙏
Theo worked out that in the ‘modern’ world we live in a prison, but the locks are on the inside of the door and we have the keys in our pocket. It took me 51 years to figure that out and I left the corporate world and are now self employed, work from home and visit clients on my bicycle. I love a simplistic/minimalist life. 😀
I'm 37 Japanese guy who tired of living Japanese society as HSP(electromagnetic hypersensitivity, panick attack and hypoglycemia etc lol) I want to get out of this packed city some time and live in a country side like him. now I'm trying to find small happiness in my life and not to compare to others.
May his story help and inspire you. We hope you can find a place more in the countryside at some stage. We wish you all the best for the time being, may there always something small to appreciate and enjoy. Sending you warmest of hugs from South Africa. Justine and Michael. 💚
@@ReflectionsofLife Thank you for kind words. I'm almost crying😭❤I'm so happy to take this gift from far overseas place🌏 Absolutely, you guys channel and words are helping and supporting many people🌈
I left my parents house over 50 years ago with no possessions (but my clothes) and lived for over 25 years that way. Now I live more traditional life yet with few possessions (as I love the creativity it takes to think of solutions instead of reach for tools.) But remember it as if it were yesterday. What I loved was the immediacy of life and watching the magic of manifesting my needs grow quicker, even without cheating with money. And that immediacy holding my ethics in line as well as my choices/karma saw results almost immediately. I never traded work for food and shelter like he did, I lived independent and migrated with the seasons living privately on public lands. And eating lots of blue green algae as it’s easy to carry and a healthy complete food. I can completely relate to the joy of this lifestyle and thank you for making this video.
We loved reading a little bit about your own personal journey. Thank you for sharing this, as a lovely compliment to the story shared by Theo. May you continue to walk a path that makes your heart smile. Justine and Michael. x
My grandmother said her garden was her Church. I didn't quite understand until I was past 50. Now my garden is my Church. I love that you live a simple fulfilled life to provide your basic needs.
This morning I walked around my neighborhood. Saw 2 ducks in the lake, birds chirping, and got pup kisses from two doggies I encountered. Wrote morning pages, danced for exercise and now starting my day job. I'm blessed and thankful 🙏❤
I lived a very minimalist lifestyle off grid in a tiny cabin in the woods. A few items of clothing, a few pots and utensils, some blankets for my sleeping pallet, a cooler for perishable food. I cooked on a fire and walked everywhere. I had a small subsistence garden. I hauled water, collected my own wood. I built a system for disposing of waste and between composting and combustible materials i for many years had no throw away trash. Everything had a purpose. Now i live in an apartment in a town with electricity, heat and running water. I have a car. I have things, possessions. Dvds, houseplants, this tablet computer. I do not have peace or privacy or serenity. I miss my life so much. Now i feel as if I'm just waiting, marking time, not living. I need to get back to my simplicity. Thank you for featuring this extraordinary man. He brings me back my forgotten joy. I will return to my real life one day i swear it.
Thank you for sharing this message, and a small insight into your own life and your own journey. As you have described, life takes many twists and turns - and it is through the experiencing of it all, that we live a rich and full life. We hope that you find a way to return to a daily routine that makes your heart smile. Sending love. Justine and Michael. x
I see a beautiful man at peace with himself and seeing the true beauty of this world and simply living life . To be still.and having to face yourself . Thats shen you truly know who you are . He is living life on his terms . Simplicity is freedom .❤
Your beautiful words are a lovely echo to all that Theo shared with us. We're glad to know that his story through this film, touched your heart so deeply. Much love. Justine and Michael. x
I wish I could have his courage to live light, travel light, but live deep and independently. Commerce and capitalism has done more harm than good. Just look at what we’ve done to our only planet. I thank you so much for your sharing and the inspiration!
What if you get sick and old. Do you have insurance for trips, e.g. to hospital? This is what I'm afraid of... pain, illness, loneliness and homelessness... This lifestyle requires courage, freedom has its price... What do you think about that...
Your question is important. He has people in his life that love him. We all will die. That is the circle of life. I will say that he has a lifestyle that is conducive to health. I hope this is helpful to you. My best to you. I absolutely love this channel.
I've always lived minimally, now more curated. I raised my son the same way. We had so many adventures and it did not involve stuff. I'm still driving my old Jeep, wearing the same clothes, travelling a bit, taking care of my fur babies, working on my art and reading lots of books, drinking coffee. I could care less about labels. I work in aerospace, my passion, and I love photography and learning. Objects are used to separate us. My son is off to college and I am working towards living out of my Jeep and a tent, with my fur babies. Life is good!
We loved reading a little bit about your own journey. May all the adventures lie ahead, behind the wheel of your Jeep, your fur babies by your side, make your heart happy! Sending love. Justine and Michael. x
Im 44 in November, my son is now 16 and is becoming a man, i have a massive pull to simplify my life and be there for him as a role model. Simplicity is the path to true freedom. Well done sir !!!
Theo is my kindred spirit. There is so much joy in living in the present moment experiencing life in the choices we make with no blame. Thank you for posting him again. My heart is overflowing with joy.
Yes, I agree living with joy with what’s here in front of me now, loving what is This man is truly incredible but as I live with extended family, grandchildren etc I could never do this but I still see the beauty daily in what opens up to me
I wish all these people featured on this channel were my friends. Such a beautiful community. Thank you for these therapeutic videos.💚🧡 Love from England, UK.

I’m 30 and resonate with what he says and this lifestyle in general so much. This feels nice to read, because I am definitely an odd ball and feel isolated much of the time
@@kimberleighwells4420Fellow oddball, out of curiosity, what do you do while in isolation. I wonder if it’s strange to not be bored of the simple and repetitive life.
I live on my own and lost all my family i am 67 I live in East Sussex i have my pets blossom my dog and my two cats lilly and Violet walking nature and the sea is wonderful i have that every day and the full moon shines on the sea and the bats that play late in the night in the garden next door and the stars and the sunsets wonderful i wake every morning happy. You are a lovely man lovely video. You are a ray of sunshine.
So good that you have your animals and that you are living in a peaceful place as well. We are glad you liked this video with Theo. Sending you warmest of hugs, Justine and Michael. 💚
I can relate. I am happy and the moon, sun, stars, frosts, tui, and beautiful scenary are hugely wondrous. I "lisf my parents and 3 siblings in a short space of time. I am an ultra caring person. Was scapegoated by 2 siblings and they conveniently lured the third. The stopped contact with MD. If is interesting because they are the ones who are cruel and truly lacking in love. I have children, grandkids, a partner & a few great friends. So I realise I didn't lose anything much when I had sisters turn against me.
Yes, can totally relate. Am 68 in Northern California and am the last family member standing. Sometimes that is deeply sad for me. And sometimes I am grateful for all the strength I have gained ❤
I'm so glad you have a lovely dog and two cats they are your family together with you on this earth I'm truly pleased you wake up happy each day wish you the best always🌈
What a delightful human. For those of us who prefer to have a home, which means stuff, we can live without being attached to the stuff. I recently relocated and got rid of 99% of my furniture and 75% of my stuff and didn't regret any if it. Off to someone who needs those things in their lives.
Yes, well said. The attachment to the physical possessions is certainly an emotional one. Having what we need to be comfortable, while recognising when enough is enough and that we have what we need. May you continue to walk a path that makes you smile. Justine and Michael x
I'm self-employed and have been living off of scrap metal and property cleanouts for the majority of my income for the past 15 years. We see first hand the emptiness of material goods, squandered money and time, and irrational consumption patterns in both residential and commercial environments on a daily basis. Very often, things own people in our society.
Thank you for sharing these thoughts and experiences, very interesting and also deep. Much to ponder on. Sending you warmest of hugs. Justine and Michael. 💚
Yes! ❤ "I immerse myself in things of my choice. I'm steeped in it. And when you're a tea bag steeped in water, tea happens, right? So I'm a tea bag, and I'm forever steeping myself in different situations. And it must be part of the reason why I wake up with hope and with joy in the morning."
@@ReflectionsofLife please, i don't recognize him, though i've watched so many, if not all, of your beautiful films. when did he appear before, please? thank you!
To be grounded and contented is everybody's "birthright" that far too many of us have willingly abdicated. It is great to be reminded how simple it really is to get back "home." It takes a walk in the garden, the feel of the sun on your skin, the sound of a bird in the morning, the feel of the wind as it brushes agaist your skin and the shiver it sends down your spine. It takes what you have always had on hand.
This message is a perfect echo to all that Theo shared with us - a reminder of the blessings and beauty that surround us every day. Love to you. Justine and Michael. x
A few years ago I decided to take responsibility for my own life, while struggling with trauma and depression. I decided to walk on the path of light, love and hope. What I didn't know at the time was that I would have to make this decision every single day - which is not always easy, not always successful… And these wonderful videos that you create and that you share with the world remind me that it is worth the effort, that the process of becoming a better human being is so challenging… but also so beautiful!!! ❤ Thank you Theo! Our heart is the only thing we really own.
Deep and touching words, thank you for sharing your experiences. We are so happy that Theo's message resonated with you. All the best for life's journey. Sending you warmest of hugs, Justine and Michael. 💚
It never occurred to me that consciousness was awareness; it came to me so very clearly as I was watching Theo’s video. Running away from something is running towards something else; beautiful! When I stopped being afraid of being on my own, I started to realize who I really am, and I began loving and admiring myself. How with my childhood trauma I didn’t end up an alcoholic or a drug addict. It was my inner and not external possessions! I adore your videos. Pls keep them Coming; such beautiful reflections of life!
This is such a precious message. THANK YOU for seeing the value in the stories that we share. It brings us such joy to share these messages out into the world. And we've got so much more that we're working on, so keep tuned in. We send you love and much care. Justine and Michael. x
I commented on theos first video short, to bring him back. That video was an important light in my life, and still is influencing the way I move through life the way that I do. Eternally grateful that you have chose to share more of him with us. Thank you reflections of life.
It's a great pleasure. We are so happy that you see much value in what Theo shares with us. May his words inspire you further. Much love, Justine and Michael. 💚
….”Joy is an energy, a gift…” “A kiss of the sun for laughter, A kiss of the moon for mirth, One is closer to God in a garden than anywhere else on earth.” - always loved this poem. Such an incredibly evolved soul. Thank you sharing these amazing, inspirational, wise people with us.
I knew it like this; The kiss of the sun for pardon, the song of the birds for mirth. One’s nearer God’s heart in a garden than anywhere else on earth.
Loved this video! Minimalism is indeed a powerful tool for inner growth and clarity. By stripping away the non-essential, we can uncover our true selves and live more intentionally. Simplicity is not deprivation, it's liberation! Thanks for sharing your insights!
So wonderful to hear that this story found you when you needed to hear its message the most. May you continue to carry Theo's words forward with you in your heart. Hugs. Justine and Michael. x
As people age their emotions begin to set in their face, lines between the eyebrows represent disagreeableness and lines in the forehead and crows feet are that of joy. This man possesses extreme joy. The Joy of the Lord is my strength.
Budda himself the story tells almost starved to death until a moment when had the revelation that all human beings needs to eat. Extremes aren't good. A middle path is required. Sometimes we bounce to extremes to find the middle path. The balance is unique and dynamic for each one of us. And the heart is telling you always in the present moment what's best for you.
So true what you say - 'The balance is unique and dynamic for each one of us.' We must each follow a path that is true to our hearts. Thanks for sharing. Justine and Michael 💚
I see Theo’s path as something closer to humans as we used to be in prehistory. When you live with a wandering tribe you travel light… or perhaps that isn’t what you meant?
I had to watch this one twice. How moved I was to hear this man speak his words of wisdom. He’s free….it may not appear that way to some, but this man is free. And I love his take on hope and what a garden represents. How beautiful….thank you.
Thank you for taking so much time to truly appreciate all that Theo shared through this story. We're glad to know that his message resonated so strongly with you. Warm hugs. Justine and Michael x
Thank you everyone who produced this lovely portrait. I have lived a gypsy life, and have loved sleeping outdoors & journeying. However, as I grew older my life became constricted by fears, (some of which are based in the geo-political environments of violence around the globe, which also cause me great sorrow). I believe my internal fears arise from unhealed wounds, which must be gently dealt with in order to proceed living a creatively loving life. Thank you again. This film reminded me that good things are forever possible. 🌿🙏🏼⚘️✨️
Thank you for sharing a little bit of your own journey here with us. And we hope that, as you move forward, you gently find ways to overcome the fears 💚

I've had plenty, done plenty. But didn't have true happiness. I started giving things away and was liking doing so, I kept giving until out of things to give except for survival gear but also gave away most of it. Gave lands, trucks, money, artifact collections that I spent 42 years at. I now have no bills I'm content with the little I get and thankful, I started seeking Jesus and He gave me what I always wanted, peace. Thank You Lord.

Love this! I’m 53 and live minimally…. I take care of elderly and/foster kids for accommodations. It’s so freeing…I bike tour when I can. People like you inspired me to my current lifestyle. Thank you!
I very much relate to the story .. 30 years ago I had a nervous breakdown but it was like this story ( breakthrough) because it was then that I realized how little we need and how conditioned we are - always wanting something. I gave 80% of my clothes etc away. And what a freedom! My motto: Less is more 🙏🏾I love listening to those stories. Gratitude of hearing this man story. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you for sharing, glad you found your feet again after the nervous breakdown and the changes you made were helpful. So glad Theo's story resonated with you. Sending you warmest of hugs. Justine and Michael. 💚
Recently I have been watching some documentaries on the sadhus at Varanasi… but I admire Theo more for his clean living. The sadhus tend to smoke charras a lot, while Theo still works and finds time with the animals. To each his own, I guess.
I always looked at the keys in my hand as my master. Now that I'm older I've shed stuff and keys. It's a much freer life. Theo is such a marvelous human and a powerful example of living life on your own terms! Thanks for sharing his story again!!
I’m not surprised synchronicity is his constant. He has made his life a faith journey, and that’s one supreme way for Spirit to prove to us It’s existence. To prove that we’re supported, led, and protected always by a higher power. The larger goal being to wake up to our true nature as one with Spirit / God, and wake up from this dream forever. Waking up seemingly sooner or later, never fear, your salvation is guaranteed by God ❤
Thank you kindly Justine and Michael for bringing us another video with Theo. Grateful for this intimate look of his life, his mind, and inspiring journey. It’s never too late to find a more fulfilling, meaningful and sensitive life, Theo is the living proof. He reminds me of a tree, tall, robust, full of wisdom. Thank you once again.
What a beautiful comparison - a tree, tall, robust and full of wisdom. Thank you for sharing that with us. And Theo does read these messages, so we have no doubt that your words will reach him. Warmest of hugs. Justine and Michael. x
Wonderful! The Heavenly Father put us in this Garden and gave us 2 tasks: to Nurture and Maintain all he creates. His blessing on us is beyond words…Joy! Peace! Peace be with You!
Your guests are thoughtful, creative, wise and intuitive people with all that they offer in narration, like this man. The success at which the sentiments, philosophy and beauty that envelope them are portrayed are in the artistry you provide in filming scenery and your guests. Always so wonderful to watch! I loved how Theo looked into his own eyes for 40 min to come back with " I see myself", and "I am already who I want to be." ....so well done!
Your words of appreciation mean so much to us. Thank you for seeing the beauty in each new message that we share. It's wonderful to have you along on this journey together with us. Justine and Michael x
This year, last week, I turned 70 and my birthday present came a week later, finishing putting to music, photos of 11/2006 - 5/2008, visiting a culture where I grew up - but left at 17, returning 30 years later to help folks who landed in Cajun country after hurricanes Katrina & Rita, in that French speaking, dancing, musical world. I didn't put the devastation, in the photos, but the beauty. Every birthday I pull in a goal; this years is to follow my intuition. What i've noticed so far is the increases in synchronicity can only be described in Peter Mayer's song, Holy Now. Now back in New England sitting quietly on the Connecticut River ever since and intentionally eldering in deep gratitude. Thank you Justine & Michael and Andy for the music. With all that is happening and being controlled in the world in less than honorable ways, i identify with choosing to live as much as I can with sharing the good in humanity. Our "shared humanity," is more marvelous than anything else I might focus on at this stage of life.

Such exquisite artistry here...the filmmakers' vision and craft...Theo's storytelling of finding his authentic path. Thank you for the beauty and grace. 💙
I am happy that we did exactely this with my husband when we were in our 20s :) In that time we didn't have literaly anything and we started our life by travelling from our little country Czech Republic around the world by hitchhiking, volunteering,.. in New Zealand, Asia, America,.. then we started our lifes back home which gave us amazing start how tlive sustainably. We don't have to get rid of things.. we just live hapilly, having family, building our house from strawbails and wood,.. we had a great gift to start like this naturally just because of the idea to travel the world :) I am so grateful for that :))
Lovely story, thank you for sharing your experiences. Glad the video resonated with you. Sending you warmest of hugs from South Africa. Justine and Michael. 💚
This was a beautiful story. I grew up in a remote part of idaho and across the river from our cabin was a guy very much like this gentleman, his name was Dugout Dick. He made a series of caves in the mountain by the river and was self sufficient way before it was a thing..... Or way after. He grew his own vegetables, had goats for milk and meat plus there was an abundance of wildlife all around. Bald eagles cruzed the river, bighorn sheep roamed the mountain above his home and he existed harmoniously with it all. I really miss those days!
Hence why Jesus says to the Penitent Thief on the cross “I say today that you will be with me in Paradise”. Jesus is referring to the Garden of Eden, a time and place before human sin existed.
We have one life and we should make the most of it. How beautiful just being in nature and doing away with all the distractions of this world. Thank you for sharing!
Wonderful and inspiring film! I recall the original film with Theo and was inspired by that as well, I will have to watch it again. I resonate with so much of this and over the years have also been gradually embracing a similar lifestyle of minimalism, voluntary simplicity, and volunteering for causes that I care about. After a stressful career in the insurance industry and facing tremendous burnout and medical issues from the stress I finally quit at ate 38. At 41, I am grateful for living a simple life where my wants and needs are few. I also have no dependents, no spouse, no partner, no kids, no pets, no debt. I still have a house that I plan to sell soon and move away from the city, moving should be simple now as I have sold and donated most of what I had. Thank you for sharing this video and for the continued inspiration, I always look forward to new videos on this channel!
Me too, contemplating selling and moving to more natural, simpler environment. Yet also accepting there is no "perfect utopian place." There will be challenges, growth, of a different sort. Best of luck to you!
Thank you for sharing your experiences and thoughts, so happy you appreciate the videos we share. We are glad that you are doing better again after facing these issues.
I am not particularly religious but i have found something, something you can't touch or describe but a 20y old me would never understand.
wish u more health and happiness !

One of the wisest things I heard a man say was: I am not homeless, I am houseless, my home is the entire earth, and I am free from that system.
Absolutely beautiful - thanks for sharing that here with us. Hugs to you. Justine and Michael x
I once met a traveler who said it a similar way: “I am not homeless… I’m home free.”
yeah... but doublespeak isn't the greatest thing.... basic word games

Nature is the physical manifestation of God. Those who live close to nature are close to god.
Spoken like a true fool.
The joy of not wanting things is great. Being happy with little; a good cup of coffee in the morning, sun on my face, a walk in nature, reading a good book. A simple life to me is the answer for a happy life.
Thank you for sharing, we are glad his story resonated with you. Wishing you a happy and content life. Much love, Justine and Michael. 💚
I quite agree with you a very simple life can be very rich indeed no need for lots of things nature coffee peace fresh air are all amazing🌈

Wow. I'm so moved by this man's wisdom and insight about why he's doing what he's doing. It's not about telling other people they're wrong, it's about refusing to comply with systems and environments that demand obedience and compliance. This is elegance at its finest.
Touching words. We are so glad that you appreciated Theo's story so much. Sending you warmest of wishes. Justine and Michael. 💚
"Joy changes the bones of your face, man"
I do love his very first words. So true. Thank you!

I think it changes your entire structure. It makes your body lighter, it straightens your spine, focuses your eyes, and tunes your hearing. Joy wears you.
I loved this too! I see so many people my age and older (I’m 55) and their faces are etched with grief, anger, and regret.

Like this man, at age 30, he had gained the freedom I would never be able to gain, at least in this life time!
he found his addiction in travelling. He is no different than you or me.
Learn from your son and unlearn what you've learned. I hope you may find your freedom and peace. It's not about traveling or being a minimalist. It's their journey. You have yours. Your life has meaning. Good luck.
Wow, your son is living.... I can relate to him....
This man is a Monk. And Nature and the Garden are his Monastery. ❤
💚
This journey into minimalism highlights a profound relationship between joy and liberation from material possessions. It's inspiring to see how joy is equated with a carefree, almost childlike spirit, suggesting that true happiness often comes from within rather than from external acquisitions. Embracing a minimalist lifestyle not only declutters physical space but also clears the mind, allowing for a more joyful existence.

isn't it the truth? discovered RoL (used to be GR) a few years ago, devoured all of their stories. you guys (and those whom you interview) are blessings and inspirations to remind me that i am on the right path...after all...

Ah yes, I'm on a similar path. Finding my childlike self again, trying to get in touch with the real feelings inside uninfluenced

WOW! Congratulations 🎉
This is actually one of the most humane and human expressions I have ever seen. We have forgotten how to be. It isn’t gone, but we have forgotten. Truth, magic and wonder. He is lucky to remember and live in that kind of consciousness.

Im 29 years old and never thought I would ever suffer from depression. I've known it for a long time but didn't want to admit it to myself, now I know it. I was in the same place most of my life...Corrie ten Boom says:
If we look to the world, we will be distressed;
If we look within, we will be depressed;
If we look to Jesus Christ, we will be at rest.

Theo worked out that in the ‘modern’ world we live in a prison, but the locks are on the inside of the door and we have the keys in our pocket.

Thank you!
💚
I love Theo, I nearly didn't recognise him without a slightly longer beard. Thank you for doing another interview with this great good man ❤
Your words touch us. We are glad that we could share some more of his thoughts with you. Much love, Justine and Michael. 💚
@@ReflectionsofLife please, i don't recognize him, though i've watched so many, if not all, of your beautiful films. when did he appear before, please? thank you!
I like this video. Im 64 , and have made some change in my life. Nothing major , but ones that bring me contentment.
And that's what matters most - to have a heart that is content with the path that you have chosen to follow. 💚
Justine and Michael. x
I lost my brother almost 10 years ago and this man reminds so much of him. Same outlook on Life. Touched my Heart Deeply. 💜💜💜
Sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. 💚

Theo has real eyes that realise where the real lies! I honour him!
Pls keep them
Coming; such beautiful reflections of life!
Such truthful words..You must be a beautiful soul..Kudos to you..Thanks for sharing
This is such a precious message. THANK YOU for seeing the value in the stories that we share. It brings us such joy to share these messages out into the world. And we've got so much more that we're working on, so keep tuned in. We send you love and much care. Justine and Michael. x
Respect to this man. Long may his contentment continue.
💚
I commented on theos first video short, to bring him back. That video was an important light in my life, and still is influencing the way I move through life the way that I do. Eternally grateful that you have chose to share more of him with us. Thank you reflections of life.
It's a great pleasure. We are so happy that you see much value in what Theo shares with us. May his words inspire you further. Much love, Justine and Michael. 💚
….”Joy is an energy, a gift…”
“A kiss of the sun for laughter, A kiss of the moon for mirth, One is closer to God in a garden than anywhere else on earth.” - always loved this poem.
Such an incredibly evolved soul. Thank you sharing these amazing, inspirational, wise people with us.
I knew it like this;
The kiss of the sun for pardon, the song of the birds for mirth.
One’s nearer God’s heart in a garden than anywhere else on earth.
It makes us smile to know that his words resonated so deep within your heart. 💚
One in a garden is being close to God. Love that!! That's why being in my garden brings me peace and joy!!!❤❤❤
So glad you enjoyed this.💚
Loved this video! Minimalism is indeed a powerful tool for inner growth and clarity. By stripping away the non-essential, we can uncover our true selves and live more intentionally. Simplicity is not deprivation, it's liberation! Thanks for sharing your insights!
I think the same 💯
You are welcome. We are so happy that you enjoyed the video. Warmest wishes, Justine and Michael. 💚
I currently struggle with a terrible need of buying things. This was like... heaven sent.
So wonderful to hear that this story found you when you needed to hear its message the most. May you continue to carry Theo's words forward with you in your heart. Hugs. Justine and Michael. x

Thank you for these words of support. It is wonderful to have you here with us. We send you much love. Justine and Michael. x
As people age their emotions begin to set in their face, lines between the eyebrows represent disagreeableness and lines in the forehead and crows feet are that of joy. This man possesses extreme joy. The Joy of the Lord is my strength.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Warm hugs, Justine and Michael. 💚
And we hope that, as you move forward, you gently find ways to overcome the fears 💚
u will be able soon to reach , touch , equalize , hear , feel those past life wounds .....and reclaim Soul Aspects that were fragmented & misaligned & repressed . Its time to Shine my friend 💙
This channel is where I find myself coming back again and again to ground and heal myself. I loved listening to him. He's perspective on life was soothing to hear. Well wishes for this beautiful person.💚
Much love to Reflections of Life.💚
Thank you for seeing so much value in the stories that we share, and for joining us on this journey. It's great to have you here with us. Much love! Justine and Michael. x
Thank you for sharing your experiences, we are glad that you found peace and contentment. Warmest wishes, Justine and Michael. 💚
That is so powerful and so beautiful!!!!

I very much relate to the story .. 30 years ago I had a nervous breakdown but it was like this story ( breakthrough) because it was then that I realized how little we need and how conditioned we are - always wanting something. I gave 80% of my clothes etc away. And what a freedom! My motto: Less is
more 🙏🏾I love listening to those stories. Gratitude of hearing this man story. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you for sharing, glad you found your feet again after the nervous breakdown and the changes you made were helpful. So glad Theo's story resonated with you. Sending you warmest of hugs. Justine and Michael. 💚
God bless this man! He figured it all out. 😊✝️🕊

Many Sadhus of India do this! This man's journey towards 'inside' is very rare, and am happy he took it! Thanks for sharing his story.
Pleasure. Glad you appreciated the story he shared. Sending you warmest of hugs, Justine and Michael.
Wonderful that his story resonates so much with you. Glad you found more freedom in life as well. Warmest wishes, Justine and Michael. 💚
this video’s take really clicks with some of the things I've been reading in unveiling your hidden potential by bruce thornwood
So glad his words meant much to you. 💚
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts. Warmest hugs, Justine and Michael. 💚
Justine and Michael. x

Interesting thoughts, experiences and projects, thank you for sharing. Wishing you many more peaceful hours sitting at the Connecticut River, appreciating 'shared humanity'. Sending you warmest of hugs. Justine and Michael. 💚
Simple beautiful and the mirror part brought me to tears. I'm desperately searching to find myself and this video gives me hope that one day I will. Thank you so much xxx

Lovely. “I’m really who I want to be.” Gotta love that clarity.

Lovely message, thank you for sharing. So glad you enjoyed this video. Warmest hugs, Justine and Michael. 💚
Being in the garden and finding God.. finding God and goodbye stuff.. ❤! Peace ..love and joy ..hope to all..😊

"A garden is heaven"... Paradise comes from the Persian word pairidaezas, which means 'Walled Garden'.
Thank you for sharing this information. Warm wishes, Justine and Michael. 💚
Beautiful
Paradajiz in serbian means "tomato"
Hence why Jesus says to the Penitent Thief on the cross “I say today that you will be with me in Paradise”.
Jesus is referring to the Garden of Eden, a time and place before human sin existed.
We have one life and we should make
the most of it.
How beautiful just being in nature and doing away with all the distractions of this world.
Thank you for sharing!
You are welcome. Glad his story spoke to you. Warmest hugs, Justine and Michael. 💚
For some reason, your words make me tearful...
Wishing you all the best for your onward journey, may you find what you are looking for, a more peace and simple life. Warmest hugs, Justine and Michael. 💚
