Erisin ES8582S - Two boot logos
Erisin has a FAQ on how to change the boot logo to something custom. I followed FAQ, renaming the image to "android_" and copying it to the boot SD card. This worked well, as you can see in this video, with the Mercedes-Benz logo showing up.
However, we then see a second boot logo that appears after that, which says, "Powered by Android". My question is, how do we change that second boot logo?

ES8582S File Manager - Files *are* showing In alphanumeric order

A video for Erisin technical support to show the new ES8582S. Unlike with the Music App, here in the File Manager we see the files *do* show up in alphanumeric order. For example "01 - My Song", in the file manager does come before "02 - Any Other Song". We're hoping that we can get the Music App to do the same thing.

A video for Erisin technical support to show the new ES8582S is listing and playing music files, but not in alphanumerical order. Previous Erisin head units did show them in the proper order, for example "01 - My Song" would come before "02 - Any Other Song". We're hoping that there's a setting that we can use to get it back to that.

    Hey, just curious. I just put in a m113 5.0 into my 2000 e55. I’m having an issue where the purge valve isn’t activating causing the fuel trim to skyrocket. There it misfires and does not rev up. I’m replacing all of the vacuum hoses (this is my first swap and was only aware I needed to change wiring harness, throttle body, new intake gaskets). But I didn’t change the vacuum crankcase hoses nor the air distributer that goes into the throttle body. It was cracked. Currently I have the throttle body off and everything’s covered up nicely waiting for new o ring for that as well. Could this be the cause of the issues I’m having? I just wanna make sure before I put more money into the motor. Has 60k miles on it.

    I would not put grease between shell plate holder and shell place. When dirt or powder gets in there during normal use it will mix with the grease and turn into a paste. There is no contact between these two components during use, only the detent ball makes contact. Good way to clean both surfaces is with bits of rugs and cotton buds soaked with carby cleaner. Once clean polish all the surfaces, this makes the dentent ball run smoother along the shell plate. By polishing surfaces makes it harder for dirt to stick in there in the future. Lubricate with a little oil the shoulders of the shaft that make contact with the under side of the shell plate holder, but dont get oil on the thread that holds the shell plate.

    • @sfliberal
      @sfliberal Год назад

      Fair question. It's because of the powder that I happen to be using here, which is Alliant 2400. Turns out that Alliant 2400 does not require magnum primers to ignite well, and my loads with this combination are very consistent. I have successfully used standard SPP's from CCI, Federal, Remington, Winchester, Fiocchi, and Murom ("Wolf" or "Tulammo"), all with excellent results. However, were I to use H110 or W296, I most definitely would use only magnum primers. Same goes with the new variant of H110/W296, called Accurate 11FS (for "Flash Suppressant"). Note that you can also use magnum primers with Alliant 2400 with no problems whatsoever. Lyman's Reloading Manual lists their 2400 loads with magnum primers, specifically CCI 550's.

    20:02 - It's fine to advocate for government stepping in and making laws for the good of the people, but current events should demonstrate that what is truly "for the good of the people" and what is SAID to be "for the good of the people" are frequently two different things. Where do you draw the line, and who gets to decide what is "for the good of the people"? (Rhetorical question)

    • @sfliberal
      @sfliberal 2 года назад

      I know your question was rhetorical, but I believe it deserves addressing just the same. That's kinda the point of America, the open, free, and civilized exchange of ideas. The danger is very clear when you have a government that can step in "for the good of the people". That tool needs to be managed by the people very wisely, and as a people, I would submit that we have been less than wise overall with a lot of our choices at the ballot box, over many years. We are getting the government that we deserve, unfortunately...BUT...it remains in our power to fix this. But We ,The People need to actually do so. The politicians in power and their talking heads on various media outlets seem to want Us, The People to forget that and just follow them like they're the Pied Piper. That's not what America is supposed to be about, and our form of government works only if we do *our* jobs, too.

The way he called out the Congress for refusing to publish the debates on the Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare") was right on point. He didn't advocate for or against the bill itself. Rather, he chastized Congress for refusing to publish the debates on the bill openly so that We, The People could make a much more informed choice for ourselves, come Election Day. Congress was so shamed that they changed their stance and published the debates, which C-SPAN was glad to cover. *THAT*, my friend, is a journalist. @@sfliberal I would completely agree with your opinion of the Democrats. The word "Liberal" has been grossly misappropriated. Meanwhile, I would beg leave to argue that your viewpoints are freely embraced by the sane centre-right, which is why I chose to say what I did.

      Thanks--I missed being on. Turns out I was the victim of Internet censorship and my Web sites got taken down. They're back up now...and this time, there's no Web hosting company to take 'em down! Back on Twitter as well, thanks to Elon Musk restoring some sanity to that platform.

    Thank you for the work and time spent on this video series! Also thanks to the video camera operator, that shares the same political position as myself. I was able to bring my old 1000 out and get it in tip top shape. Even though it had been stored in a basement (for over 20 years!) that had been flooded! One thing I would like to see is the tear down and cleaning of each of the three dies. I took them all apart for cleaning and forgot how some of the internal parts go inside the powder and bullet dies. If you can help it would be Appreciated. As I can not find that anywhere on utube. Keep up the good work and take good care of the camera operator!

      You're quite welcome, George, and thanks for the feedback. That's a good idea, a video on the dies. Fortunately, it's pretty easy to do, but such a vid still could be helpful. As for the camera operator...we got married just under two years ago. :-)

    Liberal politicians and the political parties they represent support extreme gun control measures. There's no way of getting around the fact that voting for liberal candidates (social or otherwise) is voting for gun control.

    • @sfliberal
      @sfliberal 3 года назад

      No, you're thinking of Democrats/"progressives". An actual liberal, such as myself, cannot support gun control, and there's no way of getting around that. That's why I had to change my own views on gun control. I would think, with a name like "Captain Revolver", that you would agree with my decision. BTW, revolvers do rock!

    "San Francisco Liberal," with a Gun! Thank you Sir for your Video! I recently received my new 12GA slug mold today, and needed to prep it properly. This was a good video! Short and to the point! Be wary of the Hegelian dielectic that is our "government" !!! This is not the way people were meant to live! Arkansan NeoConservative - Ditto.

    • @sfliberal
      @sfliberal 3 года назад

      Glad the video was helpful! This applies to all aluminum moulds, and I even found it helpful with MiHec's custom brass moulds. The 12GA models make shooting slugs affordable. You might also check out Lee's buckshot models. I've done the 00-Buck and 000-Buck, the former for 12GA and the latter for .410, and they do work pretty well. From a Liberal to a NeoConservative: we all should be wary of our government officials and vote accordingly. We are not as far apart as media people and our politicians would have us believe. They just don't want us to remember that.
